I’ve been following your channel for about two years now, learning your tips, writing my answers and thanks to your videos I was able to put everything into nice words. About two weeks ago I had a job interview for a company that is very difficult to get into. I felt well prepared, when the interview started, I became relaxed quite easily. Also I noticed that I made my interviewers feel relaxed and curious. My answers were outstanding, I sounded professional and confident. Of course it wasn’t perfect as later on during the interview they asked me a question which I wasn’t prepared to, but thanks to your videos I knew how I had to deal with this situation and I asked to come back to the question. Everything went so well that I left with good vibes and today I received a job offer. Thanks so much for all the tips and great videos! I am resilient, diligent, and self motivated. I am resilient and find positive dual beneficial solutions even when stressed, others have asked me how I’m not stressed. I am diligent in daily tasks often finding room for tomorrow’s list to be addressed through time management. I am self motivated finding additional materials, training, and advanced procedures as I thrive 3:24 on learning.
I have some questions: 1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate). 2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role 3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies 4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years* *Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*.
In 2011, I resigned from my job to pursue my studies, and upon returning home to Namibia, I attended a lot of interviews, but I always failed to land a job until I discovered your channel. Since following you on TH-cam, I have mastered the art of selling myself in interviews. I had an interview last month and discovered that I could combine all the advice you have given on different topics, such as why should we hire you, describe yourself, what can you bring to this role, where do you see yourself in five years, and other questions, when I was asked, "Tell Me About Yourself." I have decided to combine all these topics in "Tell Me About Yourself" as an element of surprise. Upon answering my first question, I could see that they had no more questions, as I had caught them off guard, and before I knew it, I could hear the interviewer repeating the same word over and over: "If we hire you, you will be; if we hire you, you will do." That was when I knew I had the job. I have seriously learned a lot from your tips, and writing my answers made it easy for me to sell myself in the interview. Thanks to your videos, I still watch your videos and I will continue doing so until my answers are outstanding, sound professional and confident. Thanks so much for all the tips and great videos! I have been recommending your channel to my friends and colleagues!

Before your videos I was horrible and unprepared for interviews but I took the time to study and made notes and recorded myself and repeated my answers to questions that might be asked. The crazy thing is the only question they asked out of what I had prepared was “ tell me about yourself “ and just to let you know I ROCKED IT!! The recruiting team were pleasantly surprised and speechless. The reaction and praise I received from the recruiters gave me the confidence I needed to blow my interview out of the water and some of my answers to unpredictable questions shocked them and at the end of the interview they said I scored really high and I would be hearing from them soon. I got a call within 2 days telling me details of my orientation. 😆

I'm not sure how I got your channel but I just cleared my interview for a management position internally within the organisation. Your videos seriously helped me, easy to understand and get clarity on what is actually expected out of you during the process. I'm yet to get into the salary negotiations with HR on hike and all. Any tips for that.
I liked the third sample answer most of all because it sounds like the best employee in the world, someone who is constantly looking for new tasks within & outside of the job, getting motivated with the amount of work done, and being trustworthy at the same time, which is a rare combination of values these days. Other than that, the promise to act like a frugal employee may be the final factor that will help the candidate answer this difficult interview question.

I came across it January this year when I started internship with a company, a month after my internship I was invited by the hiring manager for an interview. I came back to this video to get acquainted with the words again as I was preparing and kept rehearsing the three words that resonated more with me. My interviewer didn't ask me directly to describe myself in three words, I was however asked to tell them about myself and paaaw!! I knew that was my moment. I talked briefly about other things and then jumped straight into my rehearsed lines. I could see the lighted expression on the manager's face...she was really impressed. Had my first ever interview today. All was going well, impressed by my experience etc. After he asked do you have any questions for me? (which obviously I did) and it fellt like the end of the interview. He said. "one final thing, I always like to ask this and didn't get a chance to bring it" and then proceeded to ask me this question. Unfortunately, I hadn't seen this video and I really struggled to answer it. Finally got 3 words out with a lot of stuttering.

I just had my 1st interview in many years and I was not prepared for competency based questions as the employer did not state this, however I will learn from this going forward... how can someone calm their nerves as I came across very nervous to the interview panel and was asked a million times if I was ok (when I was ok but maybe I seemed it from my body language) I will continue to watch and learn from your videos 😊

1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate).
2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role
3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies
4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years*
*Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*.

In 2011, I resigned from my job to pursue my studies, and upon returning home to Namibia, I attended a lot of interviews, but I always failed to land a job until I discovered your channel. Since following you on TH-cam, I have mastered the art of selling myself in interviews. I had an interview last month and discovered that I could combine all the advice you have given on different topics, such as why should we hire you, describe yourself, what can you bring to this role, where do you see yourself in five years, and other questions, when I was asked, "Tell Me About Yourself." I have decided to combine all these topics in "Tell Me About Yourself" as an element of surprise. Upon answering my first question, I could see that they had no more questions, as I had caught them off guard, and before I knew it, I could hear the interviewer repeating the same word over and over: "If we hire you, you will be; if we hire you, you will do." That was when I knew I had the job. I have seriously learned a lot from your tips, and writing my answers made it easy for me to sell myself in the interview. Thanks to your videos, I still watch your videos and I will continue doing so until my answers are outstanding, sound professional and confident. Thanks so much for all the tips and great videos! I have been recommending your channel to my friends and colleagues!

Your advice and confidence lessons got me my dream job of working in a hospital, I start on November 7 th.
Before your videos I was horrible and unprepared for interviews but I took the time to study and made notes and recorded myself and repeated my answers to questions that might be asked. The crazy thing is the only question they asked out of what I had prepared was “ tell me about yourself “ and just to let you know I ROCKED IT!! The recruiting team were pleasantly surprised and speechless. The reaction and praise I received from the recruiters gave me the confidence I needed to blow my interview out of the water and some of my answers to unpredictable questions shocked them and at the end of the interview they said I scored really high and I would be hearing from them soon. I got a call within 2 days telling me details of my orientation. 😆

I'm not sure how I got your channel but I just cleared my interview for a management position internally within the organisation. Your videos seriously helped me, easy to understand and get clarity on what is actually expected out of you during the process. I'm yet to get into the salary negotiations with HR on hike and all. Any tips for that.

I liked the third sample answer most of all because it sounds like the best employee in the world, someone who is constantly looking for new tasks within & outside of the job, getting motivated with the amount of work done, and being trustworthy at the same time, which is a rare combination of values these days. Other than that, the promise to act like a frugal employee may be the final factor that will help the candidate answer this difficult interview question.

I came across it January this year when I started internship with a company, a month after my internship I was invited by the hiring manager for an interview. I came back to this video to get acquainted with the words again as I was preparing and kept rehearsing the three words that resonated more with me. My interviewer didn't ask me directly to describe myself in three words, I was however asked to tell them about myself and paaaw!! I knew that was my moment. I talked briefly about other things and then jumped straight into my rehearsed lines. I could see the lighted expression on the manager's face...she was really impressed. Long story short, I got my appointment letter this afternoon. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into creating this content and others.

Had my first ever interview today. All was going well, impressed by my experience etc. After he asked do you have any questions for me? (which obviously I did) and it fellt like the end of the interview. He said. I have had several job interview and am rubbish in them ethen thought I can do the role. I am applying for a trainee bus driver and airport security. Completely different to what I have ever done so resurching for it. I'm dyslexic and Dyspaxic so suffer with confidence issues.

I just had my 1st interview in many years and I was not prepared for competency based questions as the employer did not state this, however I will learn from this going forward... how can someone calm their nerves as I came across very nervous to the interview panel and was asked a million times if I was ok (when I was ok but maybe I seemed it from my body language)
