1. Mirror their gestures.
2. Wear blue.
3. Asap ask what in your application made them want to meet you. Postive start plus winning reference material for later.
4. Action Plan, eg for first 90 days in the role, printed and ready to give them. Shows serious attitude, appears generous, makes you harder to forget, offers a tangible return for their investment.
5. Wear good quality items. Demonstrates competence.
6. Mention specific company name frequently during responses
7. Carry a smart folder. It should contain:
CV - you can take it out to refer to as needed.
Qualifications (copy) - they may not have these, they can be offered to keep in their file as evidence of your value.
Action Plan - make sure they get a copy of this and you become more valuable.
Good idea to also include a lust of these 3 super questions you need to ask at the end:
1. What would you say that success looks like 12 months into this role?
2. Please tell me more about the team I would be a part of in this role.
3. What are the next steps of this process? - and when can I expect to hear from you?

Your suggested question number 1 to ask at the end of the interview really impressed when I had a job interview. I did not get the position, but the manager rang me afterwards and told me to reapply if a similar position came up. A similar position has come up now a year later (which I applied for) and the same manager personally phoned me to ask me to interview for the position (she normally lets her HR team handle interview schedules, but she remembered me from my interview and I remember at that time, she was very impressed with this question and I believe this is why she has personally checked in with me about interviewing again). rocket-red-countdown-liftoff I am hopeful and confident about getting the job this time around.

Having a 30/60/90 day plan is something I would think to have after accepting an offer, and before starting a job. However, I watched this video last night, created my plan for an interview today; and for the first time in my experience, I was asked what I planned to do in the first 30/60/90 days if hired. 😳 I thanked God that while I wouldn’t have thought to do this for an interview, having watched the video prepared me. The panel was impressed and asked for a copy of my plan!

I use the term "we" when in job interview. "How do you think our team will do...", "How are we as a company..." It tells the hiring manager that I'm really interested in this company and position and want to work for them.

was offered four jobs last week accepted one as procurement manager. I was wearing shirt tie and waistcoat with no suit jacket. So I don’t believe you need to wear dark blue suit to win over a job interview. Normally I do very well at interviews

I spent a life-time applying for a UN job for which I was eventually short-listed to a webinar session in preparation for an examination to qualify for a final director's job interview.

I attended an open house hiring event 3 weeks ago, the pay is $17/hour based in California. The people who show up included young mother who brought their baby in a stroller, HR representative ended up babysitting while she was in the actual interview. Guys show up in hoodie, skate board 🛹, a guy had a cap + hoodie! It was like a circus 🎪 they were applying for a discount airlines ram agent jobs😅 those people who toss your luggages😅
I was the only one wearing a suit to apply for a supervisor job

My professional career revolves mainly around Academics, as I taught/trained English / Soft-Skills or Life-Skills in different schools, colleges and corporate training institutes.
I love to watch your vlogs as they enrich me keeping up-to-date with generation Z. However, regarding this vlog, I would like to mention something:
You advised to "mirror" the actions of the Interviewer / Hiring Manager.
However, I feel that doing so, it may trigger dislike / anger in the mind of the interviewer as s/he might take it as a mimicry which can cause insult to her/him.
This thought just crossed my mind.
What are your views about this?
