-->loaded phrases: Todd constantly uses words that have very clear connotations. Eg: trouble, innocent, badass. Something many people don't notice.
-->mixed signals: "i like you but I'm not sold" "I'm not sure if I love or hate you" ambiguity at its finest to create attraction and intrigue.
-->frame control: using words and signals that imply and suggest

And notice how Todd delivers everything. He is never super excited. He is relaxed and "cool" in his delivery and manner. Also, his initial complements are not about her, but about her dress. So, he has not said that she is attractive. He has said that her dress is attractive. So, he has not given away any of his power. She immediately notices this and asks are you talking about me or the dress. She will be a worthy wordsmith for him. Wordsmithing is probably why she is in marketing. She is also self-aware. She said that she was creative enough. And she also knows sales or at least networking techniques, because she gives him a firm handshake, she moves him off the sidewalk and she says that it sounds like he is selling himself. So, Todd is gaming a gamer. Actually, game is just networking with escalation, and she clearly knows networking. The moves that she has made are automatic for her. That's why she automatically called Todd on selling himself, but she quickly realized that this guy might be someone she would want to be with, because they were both smart gamers, so she stopped her own automatic sh*t test and agreed to the drink. This might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Then practicing what works until saying and doing the right things becomes second nature. That's why I like Todd so much. He has analyzed every part of game so that we don't have to. We just have to practice what he has learned.

Verbal games are mistakes. Insta dates it's okay - cut the bullshit. It's like you said previously about "the girl level of attraction" if it's a 1/10, 6/10 or 9/10. But many guys STILL NOT GET IT. It's all about attraction and you cannot build it verbally. So in my experience not opinion this girl already loved Todd it was just a bad game to start a conversation, next time, give lazer eye contact and explore from there.
But also after years watching Todd's videos and knowing he doesn't like much RSD (which is okay I don't like that much). There was more stuff happening in Todd's approach, yeah it was a bit player but if he didn't nothing and didn't invited her to drink both would be sitting in the middle of grass like two birds(so in this case he had no choice). If it was in another scenario where there's plenty of ppl in a party I wouldn't invite her to anything(social capital/investment), and just isolate her from friends let her discover you.
