Just a short video about the treatment added to the pond in the hope to help one or two fish information and tips

3,500 litres ( 769 gallons).
100 liters trickle filter with Alfagrog.
Filterbox Premium 10,000 Filter
Pump = Hozelock Aquaforce 3500 Solid Handling Pump.
UV Clarifier =11w
pondtec pondoAir set 900 = 9001/h 12 w.
2nd Pump running through the Bakki shower @ 2000lph.

Hi Martyns well as it happens I've just got back in from having a look at the koi, all of them are doing ok, the fish in question looks like its a little more active but its scales have become stud out, the second fish with the thick slim coat seems to be getting better and showing signs of improvement, so I think the first Koi may have Dropsy but it could be infection so the treatment may very well still be doing the right job, its eating and seems to be getting food well so lets see, updates to come this weekend thanks for your kind comments and watch this space 👍👍

Two per fish from gills to tail both sides, plus I also had 3 fish tested at my local Koi suppliers 3 weeks ago one of which was one of the fish which has the excess slim coat and again nothing showed up, the one with the mark that has lost weight is the only fish flashing nothing else seems to be effected, but that’s why I’ve decided to treat with the FMG

@@GazsKoiPond hi mate when scraping I would recommend that you scrape the size from the gill plate back then flip the fish an scrape the under belly mate 👍👍👍

@@LeTwistedOne missed the under side and made sure that I scraped the effected areas hoping that that would prove to be more effective but nothing hence the treatment regardless just to be sure time will tell I guess

@@GazsKoiPond hi gaz yes done a test first the koi got fish lice wanted to know if it kill the fish lice ? Can you still feed the koi with the chemical in the water or do you wait a couple of days ? and good to watch your videos
