Hi I am Gary Hoyle Welcome to my channel
I've been interested in fish, fish keeping, and fishing for many year's now, I decided back in 2018 to get a small garden pond, pre-made as a start up, Just to add a water feature to my garden
From that the next year I made my larger pond and landscaped my garden, this is my journey with the ponds and garden with what I hope to be helpful and entertaining content and further inprovments along the way

Water volume
Looking back on this now I have realised how bad my connection was and how much of what I said was missed, I was trying to say I csme on to share my experience and knowledge with nutramare food, not koi keeping as you guys already know enough! 🥲 I thought it was a genuine question about the rocks and didn’t hear the part about you saying you’re joking 😅 🤦 Thanks for having me on!

@@GazsKoiPondinteresting conversation until it ended up being a bit personal and less objective. Regarding the origin of a feed product on the market, shouldn't you ask yourself this question BEFORE!!! I appear in front of an audience. in the end it looks questionable when you talk about China, Coppens etc. and you basically just pass on assumptions as real things. in general the question arises, how did you come up with China 😅. by the way, it is impossible to send a single bag of food from an EU country to the UK (legally) because every container of food has to be accompanied by various certificates such as a health certificate. no dealer has these, only the manufacturer
@@GazsKoiPondit definitely isn’t a coppens rebrand. There’s a video on my channel titled ‘my pond is 1 year on…’ that goes through the koi 360 food a bit more in depth and explains why I believe it trumps anything out there :) Being the ONLY food that’s has a guaranteed quality of lt71 fishmeal compared to just ‘fishmeal’ is one huge difference to any other food out there. The fishmeal obviously has to be of a certain consistency to be labelled fishmeal but the quality of it could be anything. Another thing it no rubbish filler products such as soybean/poultry meal etc. even the foods everyone thinks is the best has these uneccessary fillers. Another reason why it could be considered a ‘different’ product! Plant oils being used as apposed to just the plant meaning the strength is way more than most(if not all) other brands out there also! It has already been tested by some growers in the uk and various hobbyists like myself with great results and has been extremely popular for a long time in Europe :)

That algae, looks like blue Algae what is dangerous?
No mate thats just normal algae thats settled on the surface, due to the dividers added prevent water surface movement, Blue/green Algae is coarsed by Long-term pollution - largely from agriculture - is a key part of the problem. Run-off of fertilisers from surrounding fields etc, over many decades increases the nutrients in the water, feeding the bacteria's growth. and we do not get that in a Koi vat which is months old

Great update video, the snow makes everything look so pretty and quiet, and yet you can see how busy nature is when we're not looking, tracks coming and going. No matter how stealthy or quiet an animal can be at night or early hours of the morning, we know they've been there with their tracks in the snow showing us so loudly their presence xx
