Local Filipinos Give us Skateboarding Lessons in Iligan City, Philippines! 🇵🇭

- Welcome to another travel vlog here in Mindanao, Philippines. After our trip to Tinago Falls here in Iligan City we decided to check out the actual city itself. In this video, we try liempo for the first time, get skateboarding lessons from local Filipinos, and finally make our way over to Cagayan De Oro!
We start our day by checking out of our hotel before catching a jeepney to a Gaisano Mall in the area to store our bags. We then head to the local favorite restaurant; Tita Fannies where we try liempo and puto flan for the first time! We also ordered their chicken and got unli riceeeee!
After filling up on food we make a quick stop back at the mall and head out to the streets to explore the city. We first started at the market where I bought a phone case for 350 pesos and then we headed to a local plaza. At this plaza, we were greeted by many friendly Filipinos who were skateboarding and asked if we wanted to give it a shot. Since we have never skateboarded before they gave us some tips on how to do it. After parting ways with our new friends it was time to head to our next destination in Mindanao which is Cagayan De Oro. We take the bus from Iligan to CDO and stop for some food at a high-rated place called Ribs and Bibs. We then give a rundown of our interesting hotel situation for the night before calling it a day! You guys miss the best area in Iligan to hangout to which is pala-o area, there are bunch of resto and bar where you can find good food and the ambiances there at night is dope for night life, there are also a lot of spring water resorts in Fuentes area, you also miss the appetizer of maranao tribes called palapa which is a rare food that the ingredients were only grow in spicified areas in Mindanao 🤔

That Go hotel is new built and own by the same as the owner of that Robinson Mall, that's why the other hotel has disadvantage for having a bugs because they can't afford to hire pest control regularly the city is lacking in tourist, the hotels there were usually sales at the month of February for valentine 🤔

There is a great indie local band scene in Iligan, ask the skater kids.
Puto is rice cake, hence it tastes like rice😊. Puto is good with dinuguan, a must try.❤

Try foods that only local in that region that are rare in Visayas and Luzon, like Pater, Halang2x etc. Mindanao has very different dishes compared to the north.
