Traveling to the Hidden Gem of the Philippines | Our New Favorite Island?! 🇵🇭

- Today we are taking a boat ride to what we think is the Philippines' Hidden gem! It's a relatively overlooked island in the Philippines and completely underrated! We also are renting a beach house in Camiguin Philippines, the island that we are going to today!
We start the day in Cagayan De Oro and get in a transport van for a long chaotic ride across Mindanao to the ferry port to go to Camiguin.
We ride the 90 minute Camiguin ferry and then have to take a tuk tuk another hour to the other side of the island where we are renting a nice beach house on AirBnb for only about $30.
We get some food and find out quickly that this island is very very empty. No tourists to be found in one of the most beautiful places we've ever been! That's a very good thing for us!

Most of our family members were from Bohol, but my grandma is from Mambajao, Camiguin. It has 7 seven volcanoes and the White island sandbar is just beyond. I can't believe you guys went to Camiguin.😀👍
Try also 2Go Travel suite room back to Manila. The ticket price already included all meals. There are many Activities in the ship and you’ll see the other islands while in the sea journey. 1 stateroom is for 2 persons with foods. But if you’re going South, don’t forget the 7Falls located in LakeSebu, South Cotabato. Take care and enjoy.
7 years ago… Internet speed is dial up! Nearest mall was either butuan or CDO. Amidst all that, it became my favorite island. Simply because, it’s not a tourist trap, it’s clean, it’s fairly priced and has alot to offer adventure wise.

Try the sandbar in the east of Camiguin, the Sunken Cemetery in the west, or the hot and cold springs. And of course try the lanzones 😊
Camiguin was the first to be discovered to have white sand beaches before Boracay. But it was not developed. I'm from Cagayan de Oro and I knew that. It also has the best and sweetest Lanzones in the world

do you have an idea why camiguin was not developed as what happened to Boracay? politics? budget? or the wealthy clans in your province dont want your place to be too commercial to maintain their peace perhaps? interesting fact if what you say is actually true.

Tyler and Isaac, Camiguin lanzones fruit is the sweetest. In fact, lanzones festival is held yearly every 3rd week of October. It would have been convenient and easier for you both to travel within Camiguin if you know how to drive a motorbike. Anyway, stay safe guys and enjoy also the scenic beauty of Camiguin including its waterfalls like Katibawasan and Tuasan Falls and the White Island and Mantigue Island as well. Btw, that pink sauce could be catsup and mayo mixed together.

Wow, not a lot of vloggers featuring Camiguin, I'm glad you guys are giving it the exposure it deserves! I hope you guys can also feature my mother's home province of Guimaras, about as underrated as Camiguin but in my honest opinion, has way better sand on their beaches than Camiguin. And as people know, has the sweetest mangoes in the world (Guinness World Records verified it!). There are also plenty of hiking trails and you can rent bicycles to tour around the island if that's your thing.
The island of my birth! Look for kiping with lots of latik (syrup in coconut milk) the island's delicacy. Also, buy pastel. Come- again to Cami-guin. Enjoy!

It's a season for Lanzones there now, try their very sweet lanzones, i have 2 half sisters living in Camiguin and it is really a paradise to be there.

Siargao Island is the next ❤❤
Camiguin is not yet heavily commercialized. Its what Bohol and Surigao were like in the early 2000s and Boracay in the early 90s.. Its a beautiful province but it doesn't have the international draw like Siargao yet with their surf spots.
