Hey Doc! I think instead of stressing yourself trying to put out 3 or more videos a week, you can limit it to one a week. That way you're less stressed and we're not content overload. Each time you post, we learn something new and it takes a while to process. So don't stress yourself. Thanks for the great content.

@@anon2693 It's racism. So is sniping about White countries making skincare products. They are _not_ made "for Caucasians," but _by_ Caucasians, in Caucasian countries. This should be expected, and accepted, especially by those of us who move to White countries. And Whites scar as easily as non-Whites, but it's not racist to say that, and it doesn't make most of the world feel indignant, so it won't gain attention.

I absolutely love that you specifically speak to fragrance in skincare. I am personally trying to go as natural as I can with my skincare though I know when trying to treat a specific problem, "all natural" may not always work. However, fragrance can denote a mixture of any one of 3000 chemicals so you are correct, it absolutely has no place in skincare!

I've used Olay for 30+ years and nothing will ever make me change! I'm 59 and will be 60 this year and my skin is beautiful. My Momma passed away 2 years ago at 81 and people always talked about her skin, how smooth and wrinkle-free her face was! She used Olay when it was Oil of Olay and used it her entire life! I'm not technically a POC, I'm just a mutt, I have that line on the side of my index finger, between the finger and thumb, and tan in a quick minute. On my Momma's side, we come from the Melungeon's in the Appalachian Mountains who are very diverse and were originally a very dark people. Hi Dr.V,
First off I love how passionate and wholesome you are! And I loveee your videos!!
I have a couple of skin issues that I'm currently dealing with. I have seborrheic dermatitis - on my nose, corners of my mouth and a small part of my chin. And I'm still not able to control it with the niacinimide, salicylic acid, NMF, squalane oil by the ordinary along with cerave moisturizer on top. Could you give me some suggestions for this or maybe a video on managing facial SB with a regimen if possible?
Along with SB something else that I get is textured flesh coloured bumps on my forehead, I think it may be malassezia folliculitis, specifically because I already have SB. Could you recommend some products/regimen on this as well?
Lastly, I visited the dermatologist not too long ago and I was told I have folliculitis on my legs. And it's most prevalent along my inner thighs. I'm unable to remove the hair on my legs because it usually causes inflammation. Also because of this, I now have dark spots. Do you have any suggestions for this as well? I would love to see some videos on managing these issues. Thank you so much!!

That’s really what they’re all about, even back when they were known as Oil of Olay, they toted that they were an anti-aging brand that was more affordable due to the only other brands with a lot of anti-aging products were mostly Lancôme and Estée Lauder, which even back then they were expensive compared to Olay

For your daily routine, should I pat the products all over my face or only on the hyperpigmented areas? the products are ones you recommended from The Ordinary so niacinamide 10%, Alpha arbutin 2% and granactive retinoid 5%

@The Lovely Mel Chan I had been doing a lot of research since I posted, so I don't know if this will help u...but I saw some where that under 25, Retinol is not neccessary. But starting at that age. It might be a good thing to start thinking about. As for the Olay Day cream, all it has as an active really is Niacinamide, so yeah like a commenter said, it's fine to use

I love to see reviews on everyday brands that are easily accessible in the supermarkets. I think you have an amazing channel. Hi and thank you from South Africa, I am 42 and I am noticing frown lines and smile lines, also pigmentation. I am using Oil of Olay retinol 34 at night twice a week and Oil of Olay whip cream regenerist with SPF 30..i am also gone darker trying different products that's not working on my skin. Was disappointed the Whip cream instantly made me look darker. What is your suggestion?

Consumers like fragrances, who doesnt like pretty smells? But many also dont know that fragrance is a source for dermatitis. Its possible that many consumers knowing this would choose fragrance free because they want to do whats best for their skin but i feel like most would still choose fragrance because of the experience. Solution is make a fragrance free version of their most important products because thats the most inclusive.

Hi Dr. Vanita, can you tell me your opinion on dermarollers? I've been using it for 2 times now by myself at home. And I'm kinda worried and confused with the articles I read in google. Some articles said that dermarollers actually cause long term damage to the collagen of the skin, the other sources said it helps with wrinkles, scars and large pores. I'll be waiting for your answer regarding this matter. And hoping you can help me decide wether to stop or continue using it. Thank you.
