Thank you so much! Kindly recommend a good moisturiser after using Paula’s choice BHA. Also is it okay if my face wash contains glycolic and or Vitamin c before exfoliation? Or should I be concerned about the face wash as well?

She mentions that she does healthy intermittent fasting. Where you're allowed to drink water.
The anti aging benefits are immense. As long as we don't pig out on junk food/processed food during our fasts.
Which usually happens during Ramadan. Here's how I see it, we won't eat it if it isn't in the house Insha'Allah. 💗

As a women of African descent, I can't say thank you enough. Most of the products created in the past were never studied on people of color. They have often caused more damage! I love your discussions because they are evidence based. Please let us know how we can support you( besides just subscribing to your channel). Your videos are a crash college course for skin of color..🙂

But here she reviews brands like the minimalist and gives proper medical info which i have to commend her for because being a doctor is quite a busy job and she still made time for a yt channel. Your face and arms will tend to be darker because they are the parts most exposed to the sun. Your body responds by producing more melanine to protect those parts from the UVA and UVB rays from the sun. The more melanine that is produced, the darker those areas will be.

Normal skin here! I have absolutely broken my skin barrier by using the 2% bha from PC about 3 times a week! I got acne from it! Dont do it guys! Stick to any kind of exfoliation not more than twice a week! The best combination for us is like Dr V said: mandelic + bha. There is the Geek and Gorgeous 5% mandelic + 1% bha toner, it is so smoothing and makes my skin glowy, highly recommend, but not more than twice a week + not more than 4-5 drops for the whole face!
