Michele Palagano In some courtrooms, is the norm and not considered to be disrespectful at all. In fact, I believe it would be frowned upon unless they approach the witness with permission from the judge.
Michele Palagano, a lot of judicial districts do this because they believe it’s less “threatening” to witnesses if the lawyers are seated instead of pacing the floor asking questions in a loud voice. I don’t care for the appearance of seated lawyers, but I think the point is well taken. Some lawyers are intentionally intimidating if allowed to control the space.
I agree it’s a bit strange looking. BUT, it sure makes it easier to hear the trial! So often the attorneys are pacing around so much, the mics can’t pick up what they are saying. Nothing is more frustrating than a trial we can’t hear!
Amy’s brother was definitely coached. Granted he’s nervous and hyperventilating but he’s not looking at the prosecutor half the time likely looking at the jury and trying to make a connection. Lotta things don’t add up here, prosecutor is leading everybody, and Todd’s attorney sounds like an idiot.

Seems like a lot of hear say. I wouldn't want these lawyers defending me. And I can't even take these prosecutors seriously. If he's found guilty, I would definitely file an appeal, or fire their arse before the guilty verdict. I'm from the deep south, and we aren't this damn slow.
@@SuperKaren1953Obviously you were not listening. @6:32 The judge tells her, *it would be hear say.* He allowed it, for now, to point out the victim's state of mind. Re-listen. I do know what hear say is, and the prosecutor was teetering on a fine line. She couldn't even come back with anything until the other prosecutor scrambled to pull up something. I mean, the judge basically told them what to look for. The defence should of objected that they disagreed with what just happened. At least it would've been on the record.
Have you ever watched a trial in Mississippi? The Jessica Chambers trial comes to mind. The players, from the backwards attorneys to the ignorant jurors who, literally, couldn't understand simple jury instructions, prove that the ignorance of the deep south runs thick. As someone who is from Louisiana, I can affirm this is often true. Many people here are bassakwards, and our justice system often is too.
Lawyers sitting and speaking? What kind of madness is this? Is that normal for courts in this state? I would be in contempt if I spoke while sitting down.
I will say he worked awfully hard for someone who killed her. He yanked her out of that narrow hallway and then raced to meet the ambulance. If I'd done it, I wouldn't have done ANYthing to rush her to life saving measures.
I think it could have been an accident. She could have fallen on the rake. She was an RN and knew her lungs were filling up with fluid so she couldn't wait for help to find her. She could have gotten up and then fallen again. She would have been desperate to get to the door so her husband and son could see or hear her. Her life depended on making it to the door so she may have injured herself in several ways.
@@e.wilson1205 that's right! There are so many horrible accidents that happen all the time on farms, ranches, even just homes & workplaces, deadly or otherwise!!
I believe this woman could have became unsteady and fallen back in the rake, breaking the handle (reason for it being broke) then attempted to try to get herself help (why she was found on hands and knees in a crawl position). I do NOT think this man is guilty. He was in a panic to save her just as her son. During this panic, pulling out the rake (to get to her and get her out of the shed), also trying to drive her himself also. The 911 recordings also clearly had him saying “keep going” and “I can’t do this” can be heard not what the prosecution implied. I just don’t believe he’s guilty. He does not appear as someone so manipulative believing he could fool the jury and that’s why he took the stand. I believe Todd took the stand because he’s truly innocent and believes the truth prevails. Unfortunately there are innocent people in prison because the truth does NOT always prevail. These poor kids lost their mom and dad and justice did not prevail. If and when it ever does, those children will be grown and lost out on being raised by their dad which is so sad.
No sane person would attempt to remove a four prang rake from a dying victim??? Plus six holes and not four? So she fell drag the rake out and fallen a second time? Husband did it

Yeah, IA is no fault. Amy cheating has no impact on division of marital assets. Sounds absurd to me, but i asked this question myself and researched IA divorce law. Only if she used marital assets during the affair could that be deducted. E.g. she paid for a vacation with her lover, or bought them gifts. That could be deducted. In IA it doesn’t even impact alimony or custody, though if the lover created an unsafe environment for the child it could.
Poor guy had to put up with a harlot of a wife while took care of the kids and the farm he should of just sent her packing since she was more into sleeping around and having affairs then being a wife and mother. This whole trial is like a SNL skit, the Judge, prosecutor and defense don’t have a clue what they are doing. There is so much room for doubt to not convict.
amy seems like a drama queen, telling everyone her business and affairs , then having a meltdown and calling semi strangers bcz folks are talking about her , demanding they "stop anyone talking about her affair". Good mamas do not betray their husband and children. Affairs definitely affect and cheat the children of moms attention and energy, plus the children feel the betrayal
Man Todd your lawyer sucks. And what kind of mother with small children leaves them to screw around? If she didn’t want to be there why didn’t she just get a divorce? He knew she was money hungry and knew she would want the farm. Sounds like she didn’t care much for her children. Any person knows that a parent belongs with their children no matter what.
Commented by her brother she told him Triston her son would be very angry with her when they left This brings the question was he involved ?and Amy was very upset at that time coroberated by both his dad and Triston .suspicious
Karen Davis Brilliant...Frasher found a ninja hitman with psychic powers to murder Amy because she Wasn't threatening or putting any demands on him to leave his wife & family. Definitely makes more sense then her hurt, humiliated, & angry husband murdering her.

I have watched almost all the of the episodes of this trial & I have to say that the Todd Mullis farm is one of the most desolate & depressing looking farms I have ever seen. It has the appearance of a place of money only, no warmth, no care, no softness, no caring, no joy, no love...no respect. Cold..just absolutely cold. I have seen many farms and most are multi generational where you can see the respect for the land, the animals...the out buildings etc.. There is a gentleness. Todd’s farm has every appearance of a place where not one red cent would be spent without a mega return. No connection with the land or the animals. Cold..cold..cold... Anything on that land would be bare substance only. It is truly one of the most depressing properties I have ever seen. Withering actually. It appears the land itself is miserable. Actually creepy. Sad..very sad. It had the appearance of a place where no love lives.
The “lady” of the house who generally is the one that creates the home’s ambiance, etc., was off distributing “love” elsewhere after all!!! (“Mistakes happen, but more than once is blatant disregard for others, neglect of her children!) In my opinion, she not only disrespected Todd, but as a mother, she disrespected her own children! Was neglectful to her family. Very sad situation.
So sad😢... I don’t feel like Todd murdered his wife. But either way, his wife did not deserve to have all she did...A husband, her children nor thier home. She repeatedly chose to turn her back on Todd and more importantly her children! Do hope the children do not lose Todd now too.
Gee Whiz, Eldora - New Providence High School only had 281 students (which is where Amy went and her brother) Robert Fuller and Eileen Fuller, Peggy Munson, Randy Ankeny.
Would the brother REALLY be expected to NOT have had a conversation with his sister at the hospital? Is this female prosecutor a prosecutor-in-training? She sent a picture of an IV bruise to her brother but that’s it? The best friend/stepmother was coached. Big time.
I wish the judge in the Sidney Moore trial would have overruled the hearsay objection as this judge did here so we could have learned what Heather said to her friend before going to Peachtree Landing!
They let Brianna Warreman testify in his first trial also in Tammy's trial. I don't know why she wasn't allowed to say in this one. But her friend Bri said that Heather said Sidney called her, he said he was leaving his wife and wanted to meet her. That was the four-minute conversation from the PAY phone just after cashing out of Walmart with the pregnancy test.
So the odd thing is, is that they said there were 6 holes in her back, there were 2 in an upward position and 4 that went in at a downward position. Well i have not been able to find a single corn rake thats 2 directional having 4 tines in 1 direction and 2 in the opposite direction. And he wasnt arrested until months later after the murder. So who knows how many diff type of hay forks or corn rakes they owned since it was a huge farm they are very similar.. And who knows if that is even the right type of rake that he told them was in her back since all that time went by and didnt match the medical examiners report. There are corn rakes that have 2-6 tines on a single handle. Were 2 diff rakes used??? 🤔🤔🌽😲.
I also thought it was odd that the rake had 4 tines but there were 6 holes? How does that happen? If Amy was struck with the rake a second time wouldn’t there be 8 holes, not 6? It doesn’t add up. We don’t know the whole story.
@@rosew.1728 actually, well per court tv, they said "the rake had 4 tines that went in one direction and two the opposite direction. BUT I NEVER WAS ABLE TO FIND ONE AS DESCRIBED. so what i was thinking is that since they have a huge farm, im sure they own more than just 1 corn rake. When u google images of corn rakes u will see that there are some with anywhere from 2-8 tines. So idk im still confused..Lets say "Devil's Advocate" and say she was a lil weak, dizzy, shaky, bout to fall out status and fell on it then was able to reach back and pull it out but then got weaker and fell on it a second time. The first time with the 4 downward tines in and the second time the other two in the upward position?? Still odd but I hope this gets clearer.
If it wasn't centered in her back the rake could've only had 4 that actually penetrated then she tried to crawl away and 2nd blow maybe only 2 hit her, maybe?
Lori Crabtree I thought that was a possibility too, but the big issue for me is, if someone is stabbing you with a pitchfork they would stab, pull back and stab again, but it’s unlikely they would pull back, turn the rake around and then stab again. To stab with a corn rake, because the tines are sharply turned, you could really only use it one way, unless he stabbed from one side and then after pulling it out walked around the opposite side and stabbed again. Most killers stand in one spot and stab repeatedly from there. Something doesn’t make sense.

If she did slip and fall on a pitchfork type thing she would obky have 1 wound from it not several. She clearly struck several times with this object duh.
No, defense admits she was murdered. There’s no way defense can argue w/the fact she was stabbed 2 times in the back, from 2 different angles. They’re just going to claim it wasn’t her husband that killed her. Can’t imagine them having much chance w/this defense?
Axel Lloret Amy knew her chances at life were much better if she didn’t remove the corn rake. Nursing 101, we are taught that it is the first rule in impale type injuries to never remove the object of injury until you are in a clinical setting, preferably a trauma center due to risk of bleeding out. The pet carrier could have been staged to appear that it was in the process of being removed from the shelf and Amy could have gotten those same injuries by being stabbed by Todd into her back multiple times, falling onto the side of her face and sustaining that injury, then being left there to die, then in her attempt to get help, she could have gotten those knuckle abrasions trying to drag herself outside the barn...
@@nikkipizzino She couldn't of gotten help with the rake in her back. She and the rake couldn't fit through the door. Would she of tried to remove it, if that was the only way to get help? Weighing the risk of removing it vs not being able to get help with it still in..
80s Lady what do u mean she couldn't fit through the door w/the rake? Was the fake pointing sideways out the side of her back? Bc if the rake was impaled straight into her back, all she'd have to do (assuming she's conscious, alert), is walk straight out of the barn w/the rake coming out of her back? Am I missing something? Amy’s brother was definitely coached. Granted he’s nervous and hyperventilating but he’s not looking at the prosecutor half the time likely looking at the jury and trying to make a connection. Lotta things don’t add up here, prosecutor is leading everybody, and Todd’s attorney sounds like an idiot.
😑
He was pathetic
Amy loved her children so much that she (admittedly) slept around. HA. The prosecutor should be prosecuted for bad fiction.
Yeah exactly

Helen Wheels As a mother in law....I know you do not take sides and keep my mouth shut....me I have no opinion.....and never criticize a daughter in law....you will quickly be the odd man out....no matter what they do never come between a husband and wife
I think they were trying to insinuate that Amy was actually going to see the man she was involved with, instead of going to the hospital.

I don’t believe he killed her. He always looks straight at the person questioning and never looks at all like he’s lying.

I watched the entire thing. I do not believe Todd killed her and it may well have been an accident.
An accident? She fell on the rake thing twice or 3 times? And did not scream not shout out for help?
I think it could have been an accident. She could have fallen on the rake. She was an RN and knew her lungs were filling up with fluid so she couldn't wait for help to find her. She could have gotten up and then fallen again. She would have been desperate to get to the door so her husband and son could see or hear her. Her life depended on making it to the door so she may have injured herself in several ways.

Dang !# does Todd even have an attorney?!#

@@phoeberogers2238 he looks like a very nice man sorry for your loss x
Why would Todd think he was going to lose his farm if Amy was the one that was cheating you don't just go killing people
If the state is a no fault divorce state, it’s 50/50.
It’s deadly for a woman to ask for a separation or divorce so many are murdered after they tell their partner.
That’s a broad statement.
Poor guy had to put up with a harlot of a wife while took care of the kids and the farm he should of just sent her packing since she was more into sleeping around and having affairs then being a wife and mother. I don't think he had anything to worry about since she was the one that choose what was important in her life and it was not the kids or the farm.
79tazman poor guy???? She probably strayed because he was a tool
Maybe if he was a more attentive and loving husband? She went elsewhere for a reason 🤷♀️
He is proud of his sister? My brother would disown me if I acted like Amy

Exactly or his wife even, or his wife's brother, dad, etc.... There is a lot missed in this trial.

I am personally convinced he is guilty.
However, his attorney's failed miserable is not trying to claim it was an accident.
Why does he keep looking at the jury ? Looks like a real smart arse ! Why aren’t any conversations he supposedly had with his sister, not admitted because of “heresay” ?

Children can be angry too
The judge always appears to be shouting...perhaps he has hearing issues?
Commented by her brother she told him Triston her son would be very angry with her when they left This brings the question was he involved ?and Amy was very upset at that time coroberated by both his dad and Triston .suspicious

Breaking the family circle and splitting ownership of the family farm and son's future prospects is a risk no mother should set in motion.

Listening to the defense opening it sounds so set up.
