Did the defense hire a forensic expert regarding the corn rake. Was it empaled where the prongs of raked were in an upward position or a downward position ? That’s hugely important and I’ve not heard a word about this yet. Also, one says pet carrier there, wasn’t there, was there....., So which was it? Was there any blood on Todd? Any finger prints or other forensic findings? Someone said she had a vaginal tightening up surgery? She was supposed to rest, not lift over 10Lbs. Normally if excessive bleeding a person would contact doctor as that’s usually what ppl are told in any kind of surgery. So why wouldn’t she call doctor and go lay down.
I agree. She indicated she specialized in Forensic Pathology, not Forensics Physics. I don't think she's qualified to make the judgement on whether a fall on the corn rake was possible or not. I also find it disturbing that this dude that drove up and turned Trysten away from looking at his mom, then drove him back to the house (in Todd's truck), *and* walked right up to the shed, but not inside is not only very peculiar that he happened to be right there. But that he essentially was ALL OVER the crime scene and vehicle. How can they say they didn't see any other footprints around the shed if this guy walked all around it minutes later?!

I think the son was away from the barn for an extended period of time. First the son said he was never away, when he testified he said he left for a couple drinks of water. I'll bet he was off doing something, loss track of time. 13 yrs old....come on. When all the questions started he went with what he felt 'obligated' to say.
If this man got off free I wouldn't feel sorry for the naive woman who married him next so many people defending this non emotional man. Let's save lives and keep this man on prison. It's funny how people lay blame when a second crime is done saying they should have locked him up the 1st time before he had the chance to do or again. Well here is the 1st time
He searched for "once you hunt man you will feel the thirst" and made a silly excuse about it being related to a movie. But saying he dosnt know who searched for "cheating wives." How convenient

Did the defense hire a forensic expert regarding the corn rake. Was it empaled where the prongs of raked were in an upward position or a downward position ? That’s hugely important and I’ve not heard a word about this yet. Also, one says pet carrier there, wasn’t there, was there.....,
So which was it?
Now she's talking to the jurors like they are stupid
This guy needs new lawyers on an appeal. They sucked and he is in jail because of it.
Guilty
This was the most annoying closing argument EVER! I wanted to scream if she said “It just so happens” one more time I was going to loose it! I’m surprised no one in the court room went bonkers😖
kimi6767 horrible public speaker. She could use a course or two in eloquent speaking.
@@lucanolallo1776 it's more the type of person she is. She has an abrasive quality to her everytime speaks to anyone.
Loose what? 😂😂😂
Mindy Miljour I wasn’t brave enough to point that out. Good for you.
@@lucanolallo1776 right
To see what an actual guilty person acts like look at chis watts, todd is the polar opposite of that
No he isn't ffs 🙄
Its a show...you have been duped ahha. Chris Watts plead guilty and this guys still selling a story!
hes too calm to be guilty
No he's not. He's numb
Ever watch a sociopathic killer? They calm af!
Wow prosecutor stepped up to the plate! 👍
Could the boy friend have done it
That prosecutor really annoys me 🙈
Am I the only one thinking her son did it and the father is protecting him. The teen hunts, fishes, the tv shows they watch, and works manual labor (so has the strength). Probably pinned against his mom due to her affair and obv sides with dad because they have a better bond.
I think the son was away from the barn for an extended period of time. First the son said he was never away, when he testified he said he left for a couple drinks of water. I'll bet he was off doing something, loss track of time. 13 yrs old....come on. When all the questions started he went with what he felt 'obligated' to say.
That came to my mind too.
He was 100 lb 13-year-old boy.
Todd was almost 300 lb of the time of the murder. He lost a ton of weight in jail
If this man got off free I wouldn't feel sorry for the naive woman who married him next so many people defending this non emotional man. I have watched so many documentaries about police have to reopen cases that were thought to be an accident after the second spouse ends up dead in similar circumstances.
He is a jealous man who gave his wife a friend list. If he had gotten out he would be untrustworthy towards other women paranoid
He would have married someone else quickly to raise his kids then killed her when she saw he was psycho and tried to leave.
Glad other people see sense.
I don't think he did it at all. And watched all trial
Well stated Ms Prosecutor COMMON SENSE !
Judge! Make her shut her mouth, please!
I’m ready to take a nap 😴 her voice is putting me to sleep OMG !!!!
Yes .. she’s pitiful !
annoying saying he's the only one with a motive . I'm sure the lovers wife just loved sweet amy.
THEORY What if when husband and Tristan left a lover came over to see Amy. She had extra breakfast cooking. So when the boys returned home early the lover hides and Amy offers to help husband so not to be suspicious. Then when the lover thinks they are gonna be caught they kill her with rake to save their own life and marriage
hmmm, let me go Google search "killing unfaithful women"
*Son:* I was with my dad all the time, well ok 1.5 minutes he was gone, errrm my bad I really don't know how long dad was gone.
@NibiruLives Wow its like God is testifying against him.
@@JabberJawz. I think you're right 👍
That 911 call yep
He would've only had max 2 min to kill her without being seen. He wasn't the only one that didn't hear her, her son didn't either.
I'm not from Iowa, but know people there and they are pretty Stoic people.
Did you check on everyone?
One of the Best Prosecutors I’ve ever seen, she tried to wear him down. He was awesome
That defense team left him no chance. I’m sorry but he should’ve fired them and hired a bulldog of attorney. So many holes for me
WHO Killed This Woman Please Come Forward God Knows Your Name On The Day Of Judgment We Will See You There. Amen
God told me the name, Todd or Tad...Idk
FREE TODD HE DIDN'T DO IT
Did he have a polygraph taken ?
Ms. Hughes rocked it!
What the heck is he writing???????
Doodling....lol
This guy didn't have a good defense lawyers bc there was so much the prosecutor said that should have been overruled. He needs a new trial and new attorney. BTW it's not a crime to shop at Goodwill. Really Prosecutor your lame.
Everything she says is speculation/
Nothing has been proven/
I think he’s innocent/
Have they proven she didn’t fall on the rake???
he looked more guilty when he was arrested, but he is the only one with motive
what about the other woman???
@@ta6531 nobody was on the farm that day but Family members
the son could have done it...and father is covering for her.
@@maryalico4313 he did it because of her affairs
Not Guilty Let him out of Jail and let him go back to his children and his Farm!!!
He needs a new trail
He is 💯 guilty she was not going to get half the farm if she left because the farm always comes first before wife and children
Did they say why she was having a D&C? Was she pregnant? More motive?
I think it was endometriosis, but not sure
She had uterine ablation, guess it's close to dnc
She was probably the one doing the DNA search cause she was pregnant and wanted to see if she could find out who the baby daddy was. Uterine ablasion or abortion?
Trigger that finally pissed him off!!
In my opinion I was thinking ectopic until I heard someone looked up dna real father etc....I wanna know what poison made her dizzy
How did 12 people actually find him guilty? It’s all circumstantial “evidence”
Ineffective assistant of counsel! 🤷🏼♀️…✌🏼🇨🇦
If he went to all this trouble planning to kill her and make it look like an accident ; getting closer to his kids , waiting till she had surgery ... Why then stab her in the BACK with a pitch fork??? I could consider that if it was spur of the moment action maybe but not a premeditated plan . He's clearly not a moron. The prosecution didn't prove a thing here. Our system has serious flaws.
Looks like she never washed her hair
She didn't deserve to die. But this shows how many people's lives can be destroyed by a cheating spouse/partner. Now her kids do not have either parent to raise the kids.
I cant stand this woman!
What makes sense is that you don't make sense
He killed Amy because he wanted to be in the courthouse to meet you who aren't you flattered
mistrial all day
Amen
I think he covered for their son.
If she fell backwards onto that rake, that would have been a forced puncture
Prosecution *proved* nothing. This guy is guilty of naivete, not murder.
Tristan doesn't know EXACTLY how many minutes his dad was out of his sight but estimates 90 seconds X 2, therefore he 'changed' his testimony.
What a weak defense attorney, needs new trial
For a minute I thought he did a google search 'killing unfaithful women' from his own computer & IP address unbelievable. What has he said about that, can't really blame the son, must have been one of the farm workers, 'honest'.
He said he didn't do that search when he was on the stand
J H oh and no guilty defendants have never ever lied on stands?
@@lovepet4565 you literally asked in your original post "what has he said about that...". I was just telling you what he said on the stand.
J H no not my post , you mean the other lady
Can't blame son, who changed stories 2 times, had access to iPad.
Brilliant closing from the Prosecutor! Well done
I don’t believe he killed his wife
She is one inept attorney!!! Horrible defense.and worse prosecution
Most annoying woman ever!!! Please don’t let her back in a courtroom!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did you watch rosebaum ? “Isn’t it true” that was the most annoying lawyer I’ve watched..lol
Sarah Prosse 😂😂😂😂
Edilanya Gere if I was judging I would have called her miss piggy or a dumpling 😂😂😂 I said annoying!!!
Cheryl S I may have to now lol
Hope Buckley I just found this trial yesterday, watching from Ireland. This prosecutor voice went through my head 🙈🙈
