- One of Kyoto Animation's more obscure works, Amagi Brilliant Park deserves a lot more attention for its detailed, heartful exploration of the conventions of theme parks, their history, their fans, and their stories. Jisu of SecretIdentityStudio returns (it's about time, right?) to look at how the show deserves its comparisons to the theme park TH-cam community.

But yeah this is a perfect example of why KyoAni is as great as they are: making a great show out of attention to detail and love for the subject matter, regardless of how real or fantastical that subject matter is (or in this show's case, both).

Haven't seen this one because it looks very standard. I mean I like good animation and colors but I skip this one from KyoAni.
Amagi Brilliant Park is one of my faves and probably what got me back into Anime and Manga. I've been reading the Light Novel and it's fantastic. A lot of stuff was moved around or skipped. (or even added)
I really ought to get to that. I was disappointed by the Wandering Witch light novels (which I looked into to see if the anime would be any good) so I should probably go read something else anyway. Thanks!
@@SecretIdentityStudio I enjoyed Wandering Witch 1. But it's really the stopgap to Kino's Journey
