TOF already released Dimension Level from 10 - 100, so that newbies (and veteran) can have easier gameplay on lower Dimension level to farm boss drops, to fight mobs easier while they grow, so this TOF can be either solo play at certain game mode, but TOF is mainly teamwork and communication because it is MMORPG. When you find friendly friends and crew, it feels different to play this with friends, even reaching places as far as 15km away from the main city on the out of map area. Cheers :)

The game being an MMO creates more technical limitations, and can result on a lot of lag depending on how many players are in the same area or how high is your ping, which can be a big problem for an action game. A single player game, even an online one, allows for client-sided processing more easily. Even a multiplayer game with a more limited scope would be easier to manage than an MMO. Also... Making the game mostly single player allows for a better planned experience in other ways. (For example... If you design a town undr the expectation that it be occupied by lots of players at once but nobody is there, it will start feeling "dead"/empity. Or you can also get asshole players who actvely make the experience worse for others at times.) Finally, if you try to make the player character someone important to the world they are a part of, it can ceate some narrative dissonance to see a bunch of other "chosen ones" roaming around. ^^; It also limits the impact a player actions may actually have in the world. Of course, the narrayive implications and changes to the world can managed if you make the player"a part of something bigger" rather than the super special individual, but than it becomes another kind of story. Anyway, point is, single player games do have some advantages over mmos.

I was expecting to see the run on the walls from wuwa & also the Gacha character animation for when you pulled, since in TOF you showed a character, while in Wuwa you didn’t….. this vid made me realize that TOF had so much more potential :/ cause that space animation is actually cool & unique… Same with the flying machine. Now for the characters, well, they look like kids… i prefer mature characters like in Wuwa … don’t get me wrong, the female body looks good, but the child face ruins it

To be fair they're showing the old map...newer maps in tof is way better than wuwa and genshin but a lot of ppl dont play to know about them and character models in tof are a lot better as well. For some reason theyre showing tof in low res cause that's not how it looks on my pc and way less cartoonish. Go check out innars and domain 9 and those maps will blow u away... Aesthetically I prefer tof but I play them both. Wuwa is slightly boring if you're moving from an mmo experience but there are many players out there that prefer solo play so there's that....I say try both, they're not really the same game so u might like them for different reasons
Tof at the time, for me, just felt like a less polished mmorpg version of Genshin Impact, and I really hated the mmorpg aspect of the game. They might have been more successful if they just waited longer and released the game at a later date with more polish. The animations also didn't feel as fluid as in Genshin when I played that game, and that was also a letdown because I really liked the feeling of Genshin combat and wanted to try out another game like it. Wuwa actually feels really good to play; it's a night and day difference from how I felt when I played Tof.

Eh, I didn't play ToF but didnt it have flying and diving. The flying from what I see is free-movement (from the trailer I saw) I also saw that you can launch off-ground and glide the way down (basically super jump)
You are right. You can swim underwater. There is even a whole map for it where you have underwater caves and an underground volcano. As for flying, you are also right about that. You can use your jetpack to fly up and you have multiple charges. You also have relics and character skills which give you even more movement. Not to forget some tricks which are insane for climbing much faster than shown in the video. However, the underwater map and some relics are not 1.0 and were introduced later. I think IGR tried to compare 1.0 ToF vs. 1.0 Wuthering Waves. 4.0 ToF has many improvements and got lots of QoL implementations.
Tof has insane movement tech mounts and much more but let's not pretend like the games amazing they still have issues they haven't fixed like servers multiplayer and the egregious powercreep

I love ToFs grapple. I upgraded it, so you cam use it 3 times back to back before waiting for a cooldown, amd its insanely fun. But wuwas wall climbing is amazing. Tof has wall climbing too, but you need special boots and they have a cooldown
Wuthering Waves is an RPG like Genshin, only with better options and more freedom. However Tower of Fantasy is an MMORPG and was made for that. Unlike other MMORPGs ToF places their mobs on both random and tactical locations making it more immersive. Where WuWa is making the classic mistake of putting them all in one place. Leaving most of the map totally deserted. Story wise, but pretty much equalize the other. Gameplay. ToF has the upperhand due to not requiring insane graphics to play the game. Where as WuWa has already been suffering under, by using textures usually found on consoles like Playstation and Xbox. Details, ToF keeps it straight forward. While WuWa is like honkai impact, making players think they control the outcome while in reality their story is mainly lineair. Meaning you have no control over the actual outcome no matter what decisions. Since WuWa is only a higher tiered upgraded and improved version from Mihoyo's Genshin impact. Though also Blue Protocol played a huge role in this, yeah it might not be impressive once it is released. But earlier content of it, heavily influenced Wuthering Waves. As with Tower of Fantasy it was an attempt into making an MMORPG and seeing if it was possible to profit from it. And at that ToF achieved already things many only can dream of in Genshin and WuWa. On RPG basis of Gacha games, without a doubt the crown is on the head of Wuthering Waves. But like Genshin it will eventually have to hand it to another better RPG. In Tower of Fantasy, it is in a league of its own with its own MMORPG related genre, meaning ToF already attained Godhood after just being online in the first year. The winner is Tower of Fantasy.
ngl I really like ToF's aesthetic with its future/lost scifi esq theme, love games with those type of things. I love Wuwa and I can't wait for different region aesthetics, I don't want to sound racist but I'm kind of sick of the futuristic chinese aesthetic that Huanglong has, I can't wait to visit the other regions. I dont play wuwa but this is a bad comparison, at least show a better comparison to be fair. Innars for water/Mount in water. Tof also has wall climbing, relics, character exploration kit and so on. Battle could have use standard 5* than trash 4* (not even something players to use).

ToF always had the potential, 10cent just wanna grill gnsn already they served an undercooked meat instead. It's insane how wuwa is more polished during its release than ToF, and genshin didnt have as much hotfixes as wuwa did on launch day. So yes, during release, Genshin has the best reputation imo. Tof is undercooked, wuwa is medium rare, gnsn cooked. Hopefully, Neverness to Evenerness wont meet the same fate as tof during release. Hotta and 10cent better learnt their lesson

First of all TOF jetpack does not consume stamina after you upgrade it. It flies upward and you could fly for a long time depending on how high you jumped. Second you obviously just played TOF for 10 mins. Yeah, TOF is a bit cartoonish but it has a lot of better looking characters. Obviously, you did not have access to them cause you only played it for 10 mins and therefore you are misinformed.
and you can also use the 'glitch' in TOF to make your jetpack appear while you are casually walking on open world~ it's a safe bug aka feature, only on TOF ;D
@@genshinfinity same, I play Gen TOF WuWa all day 1 release on mini pc (genshin) and migrate to RTX 3050 laptop till now (TOF). Gen animation is very smooth, I appreciated the devs for that super wow single player JRPG type of game, but yea MMORPG can't have that kind of ultra detail smoothness because our devices would explode surely XD also depends on what engine the developers used. TOF animation has improved too imo, for example, the now free unit Lan, is still gorgeous, her attack animation. And it is possible that TOF 4.0 gonna give us the Discharge (Burst / Q) Animation to all simulacra equipped. That happened on Anka and Roslyn.

TOF is mmo and each player in the same world may have battle smart servants and floating accessories, plus swaying grass - if they made everything smooth, it may be too much for the phones to handle. I got Lan too and her matrices 😀 discharge animations are good but if you use the original simulacra, the background changes and you can't see the enemies lol. Hope they add i-frames too

Comparing a region that was released almost 3 years ago with a region (game) that was released recently is wrong. Now there is a new region in ToF, which is more qualitative. Yes, and the Rocket Pack can make a leap upward both in the sky and on the ground. And in domain 9 there is a relic with which you can walk on the walls like in wuwa
I was expecting to see the run on the walls from wuwa & also the Gacha character animation for when you pulled, since in TOF you showed a character, while in Wuwa you didn’t….. this vid made me realize that TOF had so much more potential :/ cause that space animation is actually cool & unique… Same with the flying machine. Now for the characters, well, they look like kids… i prefer mature characters like in Wuwa … don’t get me wrong, the female body looks good, but the child face ruins it

To be fair they're showing the old map...newer maps in tof is way better than wuwa and genshin but a lot of ppl dont play to know about them and character models in tof are a lot better as well. For some reason theyre showing tof in low res cause that's not how it looks on my pc and way less cartoonish. Go check out innars and domain 9 and those maps will blow u away... Aesthetically I prefer tof but I play them both. Wuwa is slightly boring if you're moving from an mmo experience but there are many players out there that prefer solo play so there's that....I say try both, they're not really the same game so u might like them for different reasons
Tof at the time, for me, just felt like a less polished mmorpg version of Genshin Impact, and I really hated the mmorpg aspect of the game. They might have been more successful if they just waited longer and released the game at a later date with more polish. The animations also didn't feel as fluid as in Genshin when I played that game, and that was also a letdown because I really liked the feeling of Genshin combat and wanted to try out another game like it. Wuwa actually feels really good to play; it's a night and day difference from how I felt when I played Tof.

Eh, I didn't play ToF but didnt it have flying and diving. The flying from what I see is free-movement (from the trailer I saw)

You are right. You can swim underwater. There is even a whole map for it where you have underwater caves and an underground volcano. As for flying, you are also right about that. You can use your jetpack to fly up and you have multiple charges. You also have relics and character skills which give you even more movement. Not to forget some tricks which are insane for climbing much faster than shown in the video. However, the underwater map and some relics are not 1.0 and were introduced later. I think IGR tried to compare 1.0 ToF vs. 1.0 Wuthering Waves. 4.0 ToF has many improvements and got lots of QoL implementations.

Nobody fight's with a starter weapon in ToF. And the SSR's feel badass, also the characters have much more "character" which even shows in their fighting style. As I see it WuWa is a less appealing copy. Just look up the Gesthos Sector trailer and tell me that Wuwa is even close...

Try asking for actual ToF game footage from ppl that actually play the game. Try out new maps in ToF, even some older but not 1.0 maps look stunning. For example Miroria with rtx.

I love ToFs grapple. I upgraded it, so you cam use it 3 times back to back before waiting for a cooldown, amd its insanely fun. But wuwas wall climbing is amazing. Tof has wall climbing too, but you need special boots and they have a cooldown
The wall running relic in ToF has a cooldown but doesn't consume stamina, allowing you to climb much higher.

Wuthering Waves is an RPG like Genshin, only with better options and more freedom. However Tower of Fantasy is an MMORPG and was made for that. Unlike other MMORPGs ToF places their mobs on both random and tactical locations making it more immersive. Where WuWa is making the classic mistake of putting them all in one place. Leaving most of the map totally deserted. Story wise, but pretty much equalize the other. Gameplay. ToF has the upperhand due to not requiring insane graphics to play the game. Where as WuWa has already been suffering under, by using textures usually found on consoles like Playstation and Xbox. Details, ToF keeps it straight forward. While WuWa is like honkai impact, making players think they control the outcome while in reality their story is mainly lineair. Meaning you have no control over the actual outcome no matter what decisions. Since WuWa is only a higher tiered upgraded and improved version from Mihoyo's Genshin impact. Though also Blue Protocol played a huge role in this, yeah it might not be impressive once it is released. But earlier content of it, heavily influenced Wuthering Waves.
As with Tower of Fantasy it was an attempt into making an MMORPG and seeing if it was possible to profit from it. And at that ToF achieved already things many only can dream of in Genshin and WuWa. On RPG basis of Gacha games, without a doubt the crown is on the head of Wuthering Waves. But like Genshin it will eventually have to hand it to another better RPG.
In Tower of Fantasy, it is in a league of its own with its own MMORPG related genre, meaning ToF already attained Godhood after just being online in the first year.
The winner is Tower of Fantasy.

I love Wuwa and I can't wait for different region aesthetics, I don't want to sound racist but I'm kind of sick of the futuristic chinese aesthetic that Huanglong has, I can't wait to visit the other regions. I know its the game's version of Liyue and thats pretty cool but I can't wait to visit the Black Shores and other places since I think they'll have different aesthetics as show with how Encore/Alto/Verina looks different from everyone else.
I recommend Gesthos Sector in Tower of Fantasy. It isn't shown in this video, but it's a futuristic map without a Chinese aesthetic lol.

Wuwa Jinzhou Map isn't even memorable, ToF 1.0 cetus Island and Meant to be BGM is well known.
We got Cyberpunk 2077 city inside a pyramid on 2.0 and domain 9 is all flying massive islands, 4.0 is dubai sci-fi.
That's why ur wuwa only dare to use tof ver 1.0 from 2022.

Man, WuWa wishes it was even half as fun as ToF... If it has been having more success, it's really because of the development team's experience, the aggressive advertising and all the tried-and-tested elements it stole from Hoyoverse games.

It's insane how wuwa is more polished during its release than ToF, and genshin didnt have as much hotfixes as wuwa did on launch day. So yes, during release, Genshin has the best reputation imo. Tof is undercooked, wuwa is medium rare, gnsn cooked.
Hopefully, Neverness to Evenerness wont meet the same fate as tof during release. Hotta and 10cent better learnt their lesson
A comparison should be fair i play genshin, tof, wuwa and all are different games are great, joined all 3 on day 1 and still playing them, if leaving area specific perks all 3 games hace their sides, for story genshin is better then would be tof then ww, game play mechanics tof have most of these easy win then genshin then ww, graphics ww then tof then genshin, gacha tof gacha is better as f2p can get all the chracters easily then ww then genshin, power creep all 3 games will have it tof have way too much power creep then genshin but ww is new so a few months will tell, and dont say tof is worst and genshin much better cause keking, diluc, venti, etc., all were useless in 5 months, its same for all gacha games.
ToF max settings with ray tracing on and uncapped fps graphics on high-end device is much better than WuWa and Genshin's max settings
@@raven0401 thats not the case, ingame i play on original and then edited engine.ini and maxed out everything to extreme that game and engine supports, resolution to 4k, shadow to 8k, dlaa quality, view distance to 1000 of foilage and everything it do looks better then genshin but wuwa looks better with same edit of engine...

Try to be well informed with both games before doing these comparisons and. not just off the shallow stuff.
First of all TOF jetpack does not consume stamina after you upgrade it. It flies upward and you could fly for a long time depending on how high you jumped. Second you obviously just played TOF for 10 mins. Yeah, TOF is a bit cartoonish but it has a lot of better looking characters. Obviously, you did not have access to them cause you only played it for 10 mins and therefore you are misinformed.

I play both TOF and Genshin in PS5. TOF looks better but movements are smoother in Genshin
and you can also use the 'glitch' in TOF to make your jetpack appear while you are casually walking on open world~ it's a safe bug aka feature, only on TOF ;D
@@genshinfinity same, I play Gen TOF WuWa all day 1 release on mini pc (genshin) and migrate to RTX 3050 laptop till now (TOF). Gen animation is very smooth, I appreciated the devs for that super wow single player JRPG type of game, but yea MMORPG can't have that kind of ultra detail smoothness because our devices would explode surely XD also depends on what engine the developers used.
TOF animation has improved too imo, for example, the now free unit Lan, is still gorgeous, her attack animation. And it is possible that TOF 4.0 gonna give us the Discharge (Burst / Q) Animation to all simulacra equipped. That happened on Anka and Roslyn.

TOF is mmo and each player in the same world may have battle smart servants and floating accessories, plus swaying grass - if they made everything smooth, it may be too much for the phones to handle. I got Lan too and her matrices 😀 discharge animations are good but if you use the original simulacra, the background changes and you can't see the enemies lol. Hope they add i-frames too
