I’m consistently amazed at the level of quality put into these videos to catalogue a comic series that you’re clearly passionate about to do all this editing, writing and graphic design to make as great as they possibly can be which, to say the least, is “very.” This channel is a marvel and it’s just a shame the DCAU wasn’t arriving concurrent to these TH-cam videos as I wasn’t even aware of these comics before finding this channel, otherwise it would probably get the acclaim and popularity that it deserves. 🤷🏻♂️
Bearing in mind that most of the DCAU was produced at the same time as Hercules The Legendary Journeys / Xena Warrior Princess, and thus the Greek pantheon depictions had some major influences there, I’d suggest WTDB’s work on the DCAU’s deities should go along that vibe, or perhaps should get together with Red of Overly Sarcastic Productions on TH-cam who’s done quite a bit of work on this.
I really enjoyed this issue of Batman the adventures continue and not just because Babs/Batgirl was a central character, all know that was pretty great😁. If it wasn't for Batman: The Adventures Continue I wouldn't have found this channel and I'm so glad I did.😊 Nicely presented as usual, looking forward to next time. 🙂💛

Having Barbara a more substantial part of season two feels more like episodes of TNBA. I'm really glad I decided to reread Btac this summer. Can't wait for the season three coverage.

While the meteorite is what made him immortal, he has to consume his descendants to maintain his power. Because of this, he's credited as the inventor of cannibalism. Perhaps the older looking Savage hadn't eaten in a while.
Now at the end of the video and like 6 comments in, I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed these videos while they lasted; you guys certainly went consistently all out and they always feel like a sizeable production. However, I think what you're planning for next season might be for the best, as there isn't necessarily a lot to go over each issue, especially for Mattie and/or Ted. Here's hoping you guys' videos pick up again with the shift in focus! You all definitely deserve it.

As a patron, I support the changes you're making to make the workload more practical. I'm not sure if this will help at all, but I know that I first came to find this channel through all the extensive work you guys did on the DCAU timeline. Those are the videos I watch and rewatch most frequently because I'm total continuity and chronology whore. I'm not sure if those videos perform better for you guys or not, but that's where a lot of my engagement/watch time for the channel goes. I'm not saying "make more content like that" because I believe that artists should only make the content that they want to create and that interests them, but I figured I'd share with you guys so you can hear first hand where my interests lie. Honestly, one of my favorite videos you guys put out was the Lady Shiva video, which was very timeline-heavy, but also a lot of creative problem-solving and content analysis and interesting story-telling on your own part. I think it highlighted EVERYTHING you guys are good at, and it encapsulated your roots with Legacies as well as what you made your names doing here on the channel. Much love to you all. Hope things pick up again for you - you deserve it. When I was off work in 2019 due to a nervous breakdown, I binged your entire channel, and it brought me so much joy. Yeah, I feel you on the end. I gotta say on my end remembering to keep up with JLI each month to comment things I find on the video was a bit of a task (seriously, I forgot the new one came out and paused the video after BTAC, read the whole thing and came back). Honestly it'll probably be better to either do a final all encompassing video moving forward once the runs end or just focus on big things that can fall more into the "big video" wheelhouse. But I've been appreciating the work you all put into these none the less, but hopefully without them you can fall more into a rhythm of what works best for you. At 10:35, I don't know there seemed to be a few openly religious folks in the DCAU, such as: 1.) Father Michael (from "It's Never Too Late," you know that fan-favorite episode you don't like; lol) 2.) Alfred's talk with Bruce at the end of "MotP" where he says "...and I thank Heaven for that." (looking upward) 3.) Bruce expresses belief in the supernatural in "Revenant," at least due to his experiences. 4.) Terry briefly prays upon seeing the damage done to Wayne Manor in "RotJ," saying "Please, God, no!" He also throws around phrases like "Lord knows" and says he's "...making up for past sins" by being Batman. 5.) Static conversationally praying in "Frozen Out," while on patrol. 6.) Amanda Waller, as seen in "Epilogue" in her discussion about fate vs free will. *I digress, but you're definitely right it was more the exception rather than the rule, but some utterances of faith did occasionally make it through the filter.
Specifically talking about Fox Kids, though. The one BTAS example you cite, I don’t think he said anything very notably religious, he was just a priest in general. After the shift to the WB Network, things were a bit looser, as I understand it.

Yeah, I feel you on the end. I gotta say on my end remembering to keep up with JLI each month to comment things I find on the video was a bit of a task (seriously, I forgot the new one came out and paused the video after BTAC, read the whole thing and came back). Honestly it'll probably be better to either do a final all encompassing video moving forward once the runs end or just focus on big things that can fall more into the "big video" wheelhouse. But I've been appreciating the work you all put into these none the less, but hopefully without them you can fall more into a rhythm of what works best for you.
Side note: despite my read through, I didn't find anything of note to add. Though I am sad my wonder dog reference from last time didn't click I guess.

@@dcauwatchtower Though one thing of note I just thought about, it's odd that Batman the Animated Series couldn't talk about religion, but X-Men which aired around the same time on the same network could in episodes like "Nightcrawler." Maybe since Saban co-owned Fox Kids and produced X-Men it was given more leeway.

The Walking Dead comic began in 2003. So there's that.
At 10:35, I don't know there seemed to be a few openly religious folks in the DCAU, such as:
1.) Father Michael (from "It's Never Too Late," you know that fan-favorite episode you don't like; lol)
2.) Alfred's talk with Bruce at the end of "MotP" where he says "...and I thank Heaven for that." (looking upward)
3.) Bruce expresses belief in the supernatural in "Revenant," at least due to his experiences.
4.) Terry briefly prays upon seeing the damage done to Wayne Manor in "RotJ," saying "Please, God, no!" He also throws around phrases like "Lord knows" and says he's "...making up for past sins" by being Batman.
5.) Static conversationally praying in "Frozen Out," while on patrol.
6.) Amanda Waller, as seen in "Epilogue" in her discussion about fate vs free will.
*I digress, but you're definitely right it was more the exception rather than the rule, but some utterances of faith did occasionally make it through the filter.
Specifically talking about Fox Kids, though. The one BTAS example you cite, I don’t think he said anything very notably religious, he was just a priest in general. After the shift to the WB Network, things were a bit looser, as I understand it.
