Dionne Warwick has had a huge career spanning almost 6 decades. She had so many hits. Burt Bacharach wrote most of her best songs. "Don't Make Me Over", "Make It Easy On Yourself", "Anyone Who Had A Heart", "Do You Know The Way To San Jose?", "You're My World", "Message to Michael", "Alfie", "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself", "I Say A Little Prayer", "(Theme from) Valley Of The Dolls", "(There's) Always Something There To Remind Me", "This Girl's In Love With You", "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" etc.

OMGOSH! I forgot how amazing she is! Miss Warwick and Karen Carpenter's voices were my favorites growing up! What a beautiful lady.

One of my favorite female singers. So classy & soulful. I love this live performance she did. Sang this differently than the record and I LOVE IT

AND a dance break! which she probably had to learn in one afternoon. plus sing that entire song, wear that dress, and be amazing live on tv. Dionne is just amazing on so many levels. a great star!

She’s amazing. She sings a different melody line around this song on this performance to the single release. Bacharach and David used to give her songs before other artists got to do them. Her vocals on these were the benchmark really. My favourite female singer of all time.

One of many Bacharach/David hits written exclusively for their muse- Miss Dionne!

The studio version produced by Bacharach is the best version, but this one is nice.

Great classic song. Dionne is a fantastic singer. Don't Make me Over, I say a Little Prayer and this are my favorites. Plus there's more. I still stand on what I say the 60s were the best decade for music

She looks more like Whitney Houston's mother to me.

There was a CNN documentary about Dionne Warwick on Jan 1st. It was really interesting and a well done documentary. If you get a chance to see it you won't be disappointed.

This clip is an extract from the CBS Tv Show "The Red Skelton Hour" (S16E11 1966-11-29).

Sounds like a live performance it is definitely different from the recorded version. But wonderful!

Another phenomenal Dionne song that was sampled extensively, by J. Dilla on his last album and also by Just Blaze for an Usher track, is "You're Gonna Need Me." Would love to hear your reaction to that one.

Hey Stan, try her live version of Stevie Wonder's All in Love is Fair or her singing the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
