Some great fishing there Westy with some lovely carp and tench caught. I did manage to buy a couple of these feeders when first released by Korum not realisiing the impact they would have. Unfortunately haven’t been able to use them due to illness but I’ll get there eventually. Been trying out my own diy floating feeder last couple of evenings, great success especially mixing ground bait with Westy’s 2 & 3mm pellets, the carp mob the feeder trying to suck the bait out - amazing fun !!
Just to add, always check with the fishery rules on the use of these, especially in matches. From what I understand, on venues that state ‘free running feeder/rigs, no float stops or similar should be on the line above the device. Some venues however may view these more as a float rather than a feeder. Always best to check first to save embarrassment. I recently fished Moorlands and these could only be used as free running which makes it much more difficult as keeping a tight line drags the bait out of the feed zone.
I haven’t had a problem yet, this is classed as free running. It’s not fixed, if there was a break the float stops would pull off. I think your fishery is just being awkward with you there Russ !
Another great video. You're right about those corum floaters cos they are like gold dust. Not a website has them so my brother is designing me on. In the meantime I have ordered some chummer floating feeders and will give them a go. Keep up the good work and pay yer dad the minimum wage at least. X
Interesting video. I tried High Heyes for the first time last week, lovely surroundings and there are certainly some big carp in there as you could see them basking in the sun but I didn't have much luck on my usual legered Method feeder tactics that work in other fisheries in the area. Managed 2 carp and sadly, more Breem than I could count. The no PVA products rule was a bit disappointing as well

Nice one. Think I've checked the stock on over 200 online shops with no luck. Fish on the local water have been in the perfect range to test this. By the time I get it, it'll be too late. Always next year I guess.

Hi westy die hard fan here love all your vids. Could you tell me if you use hard pellets in the korum feeder or still soak them like you would in a banjo feeder. I find my pellets stick to sides and dont fall out. Thatnks mate maybe do vid of preparing or tank test ? Cheers tight lines.
I soak them yes, I’m not sure why yours aren’t coming out! Mine seem to fall out fairly quick. Try not to push them in as hard should make a big difference 👌🏻

These floating feeders look great! Sadly, most carp rarely come so high in the water over here. Its either bottom or low/low mid water.

Shorten the hook length to an inch or 2 under the feeder and you will see the difference. Great video nonetheless👊
