    ..I always try to start my fishing campaign off for the year on the !st May when the water has warmed up a little, but this has made me re-think that you can enjoy good sport in the colder months. Choice of baits, timings and moving around the swim is something that you demonstrated very well, and I think they were great tips that I have missed all these years. As we move in to the summer months, I will be using these tips and see if I can catch loads more fish. Thanx again. Really enjoyed it. The weather was terrible, but you had a great day and managed to produce a great video. Well done m8.

    Great video again Mickey, weather looks like we get😂.
    Principle is great for any type of fishing. We don't fish much for carp but same tactics work for skimmers & bream.

    I have watched a fare few feeder vids but this has been by far the most detailed and informative ive seen and i have took a lot from it which has answered questions that i have thought when method fishing but forget to look up for the answer. i have invested in 2 guru feeder rods recentley the 12ft power feeder and love them both and i can see by where the foam joins the rod you have had a lot of pulls on it because of how worn it is and hope i end up with 2 rods showing i have been in some battles. Thankyou for this vid and cant wait to try out some new styles next week.

    Love this video! Havnt fished for very long and jumped straight into the world of carp fishing for large carp.. the string of blank session is frustrating... Think I want to get back to enjoying fishing more by using feeder fishing even targeting smaller species 😊

    My kind of conditions for fishing buddy, misty overcast but dry, very little wind, water like glass.
    Fish are starting to search around for food after their winter slumber.
    Great results on the method 👍

    Another great Video Mikey. Good to see your take on how to approach on how to fish a feature such as an Island. I have always had some groundbait and 2mm pellets ready for fishing the method. I also had instances where I have had to mix equal portions of pellet and micro's to get fish to bite. Very well shown mate.

    Fantastic vid mate, never really thought about groundbait on the method when targeting carp only really used it when on the pole or on when feeder fishing targeting silvers. I always just used micros on the method. I'll deffo try this next trip up to Redhill. Got yourself a new Sub!

    Mikey great video love em mate. What would make you choose grounbait over micros or a mix of the two in winter? I'm a competent match angler myself but struggle with this mate. My mother's Welsh so answer honestly 😂

    • @dragonangling
      @dragonangling  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I like to start with either micros or gbait on its own I then know what one is actually attracting the fish rather than using a mix of both and not knowing what’s doing the damage

    Agreed with most of the others, It's an excellent video you're very natural at instruction Micky. Would a Robin Red ground bait work too buddy, or even a very fine expander ground-bait?

    • @dragonangling
      @dragonangling  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Definitely try the robin red, I’d personally stay away from crushed expander on the feeder because it’s so spongy and you might lose a lot on impact

    Do you take the particles out of the G/bait in the warmer months?

    • @dragonangling
      @dragonangling  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes mate, I want the groundbait as fine as possible to it compacts on the feeder better, all the bigger bits get too spongy and makes the feeder break down super quick
