Lawsuits are expensive & unless she is wealthy or there is an attorney or org to advocate for her & represent her she is on her own. Maybe publicizing this will help her.

I understand privacy rights of an individual but a separate issue is any ethical violation. Did the university fail to provide you whistleblower protection? My ex was terminated for misconduct and in turn sued for discrimination. I can only guess at the settlement terms.
