How is it child abuse to protect a child from mental and or other forms of, abuse? This is literally the safest thing for LGBTQ kids. If you are a good parent with a good relationship with your child who is loving and supportive, you know your child is LGBTQ and you don’t need the school to tell you they are because you already know and you are already supporting them.

I really don't understand how teachers don't see this as a massive safeguarding issue.
My intuition is that many do but get browbeaten or don't have the courage to speak out while a minority feel they're saving kids. The same with non-sex based toilets and some of the "sex education" given nowadays. I really struggle to understand how ppl trained on why kids have separate toilets from adults, you never leave another adult alone with kids, you must inform the parents and talk to them about medical issues etc. That they don't see the correlation.
It's a horrible horrible idea that parents are default dangers to their children. If you think that you should be on the phone to social services immediately not creating these secret indoctrination clubs. A select group of the worst, least scientific, most gullible teachers seems to have swallowed a lot of lies about how dangerous the world is for trans ppl in the West.

    • @AmyDawson-s1d
      @AmyDawson-s1d 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +67

They don't see it because the safeguarding training is over and over again about spotting parental abuse (and keeping yourself free from allegations by e.g. not being in a room alone with a child). Safeguarding training makes parents out to be the problem over and over. I had a debate with a friend's friend recently and her line was "all home educating (home schooling) parents need registration and monitoring because I've done safeguarding training and the children are at risk". It doesn't matter that the UK statistics show no increase of risk for that group. Safeguarding training primes people to believe parents have nefarious motivations and do not have their children's best interests at heart.

@robertmarshall2502 EXACTLY. In the US, teachers, health care providers, and a number of other people, are mandated reporters. If they witness evidence of abuse, reporting is mandatory. If they failed to make a mandatory report, it's almost certainly because there was no evidence of abuse.

But having said that, there are more and more homeschool families that are also not grounded in God and giving way to the wickedness of the world, including the gender issue. This has been a long time coming - I've been witnessing the making of this since I was a kid back in the 90s. I rode the wave of this thing. My sister was two years older and, at every step of the way, by the time I would get to where she was just two years prior, the change would've happened. Just like riding a wave.
They treated her class with respect and dignity, but then, I'd reach that point and my class were treated like children, like babies, like we couldn't handle, and needed to be protected from, ANY amount of adversity or hardship - kid gloves, participation trophies, no child left behind.
I was a damned CHILD and I could see the consequences of this! I knew it would embolden the weak, create a sense of entitlement in those who hadn't earned it, and more or less make everyone weak and stupid. And now look.
They had shop class; we didn't. They had drivers Ed; we didn't. They had young adults influencing them, sharing wisdom of experience; we had cartoon mascots teaching such bullshit as we "could have anything as long as we wanted it enough and that we could do anything we set our minds to."
When gifted children have more foresight and wisdom than their educators, we are all in serious trouble - and here we are.

Here in Nevada, they send out medical consent forms each year since the pandemic in elementary and up stating, the schools need to be reimbursed from Medicaid for any medical response for your child. I'm sure parents think they should do this because if something happens, they trust the school to care for a child's emergency and don't want to be sidelined with a bill. But you must ask why the school would oversee a child's medical emergency, that's what a hospital is for right? This is for trans gender changes. They charge for the counseling, the pub blockers, and sex change operations and need this consent form so they don't have to tell you because at a hospital they are mandatory reporters by law, and it would be a crime on them to do anything to a child without consent. Watch out, these are criminals making money off your children. What doctor would have deranged enough mind to cut off a little boy or girl's private parts, that's sick in of itself? 🤮🤮🤮

@christineoldfield6753 It's not that tough, but it can be expensive. Private school is one option. Otherwise . . . The following is not intended as legal advice, just information about your rights.
You start by calling their bluff, and trusting FERPA to protect your child's privacy. Then you speak with an attorney, and possibly retain one. Then you confront the school and insist on your IDEA rights. That involves asserting that your child is having emotional distress in school and that the school is in part responsible and needs to deal with it. This gives you a RIGHT to call for an IEP *and* to be part of the IEP team. The Supreme Court has SAID so.
Notice two things: now the school can do nothing without notifying you; and, you have started costing them money. Win-win. They'll back off. 😃

You should ask your daughter and anyone that supports this - Do u also support someone who's anorexic having lipo suction done because they feel as though they're obese? No? Because u haven't been trained to support that - yet. Yet u support a Man having his penis cut off so he can feel like "himself" - Yet it's the literal opposite of themselves. Trans want & demand we all do what they could not & cannot do = Accept themselves! They can't accept themselves so much so - They desperately try turning themselves into the exact literal opposite of themselves. & That's so sad.
Why not fix their minds instead? Why not teach them to love their real selves instead? I actually care about trans people & think it's disgusting how they've been so deceived. Instead of getting help the same way someone who suffers from say anorexia - they're encouraged to have surgery & to become life long patients & sterilized for the rest of their lives. (It's big $ for the medical & pharmaceutical industry). Not to mention the unalive rates after going thru with said surgeries. & I hope u don't regurgitate the pre-approved response you've been trained to regurgitate = "That's because of people judging them" Hm so why AFTER they finally have all the surgeries to be "their true self" they unalive?? Doesn't make much sense, but don't have to take my word for it -- There are many trans who have detransitioned after post op aka having their privates cut off, who are trying to speak out but they're silenced & told they never were trans to begin with & alienated by the very people who claim to support them& even called transphobic!! & They're left all alone, mutilated , sterile & a life long patient with not only no support but hated on by the very group of people who claim to care so much about them. Point being in the next 10 yrs men having their penises literally cut off& women having their breasts cut off is going to be looked at equivalent of lobotomies. As it should. It's awful what's happening to trans people currently 💔. No matter what they still have xy chromosomes or xx chromosomes. It's so sad how so many have been so easily manipulated into somehow supporting body parts being cut off instead of helping their minds. Mass psychosis. Trans people deserve better ❤️

@@KevvaPMcK they aren’t doing anything to the child, keep that in mind. It is the child making the decisions and all the decisions are is clothing choice, pronouns, and sometimes name. This gives them the opportunity to explore their identity and figure out who they are and whether they really are trans or perhaps non-binary or cis and just confused though that is extremely rare. This is an important thing for trans individuals as it allows them to figure themselves out and grow as opposed to isolating them, forcing them to pretend to be something they aren’t and causing mental health issues that often lead to a child harming themselves or unaliving themselves.
Remember, these kids didn’t ask to be born differently. They never forced their pregnant mothers to eat hormone filled foods or make their pregnant mothers sick so their hormones become unbalanced or anything like that. They simply had to deal with it and now they have to deal with the consequences of it. It sucks that these hormone issues happen during pregnancy and cause LGBTQ causing changes in fetuses and hopefully one day we will have more knowledge and control to avoid such things but as of right now, all we can do is respect these children for who they are and not try to force them into an unhappy life where they have to pretend to be someone they aren’t.
Remember, a body is just a body. It isn’t who you are. Who you are as a person is in your brain. If your brain scans come out to be female, it is likely that you behave female, if they come out to be male, you are probably behaving like a male if they come out somewhere in the middle like LGBTQ people, it is likely you are somewhere in between somehow, be it the gender identity part of your brain making you the opposite gender, the attraction part of your brain being interested in the same gender or both like gay and bi individuals, etc.

I'm an older person with Aspergers and, as a child, I found boys much easier to communicate with, so much so that I pretty much avoided girls. As I child I thought I should have been a boy, however this disappeared with my onset of puberty and while I never could feel comfortable around girls, I really loved being female and eventually having children of my own. This mother is so right when she says that the majority outgrow these feelings and, I'm so grateful I was born in the late 1950s because if I had been born more recently, I'm sure some "helpful" teacher would have had me in a gender clinic. The psychiatrist who diagnosed my autism said the feelings of "being a boy" were gender dysphoria. I dread to think what I would have ended up doing had that happened. I am fairly sure however, that I wouldn't have had my children and grandchildren and nor would I have had the wonderful, decades long relationship with my late partner and soulmate.

Not that I particularly care to out myself, but I also have Asperger's Syndrome. That being said ... I completely agree with you and empathize with you. Growing up, I tended to do some things that would be considered more feminine. The idea that a teacher could just decide I was therefore a girl and do all this abuse to me under the guise of 'care' honestly disturbs me. I don't even want to imagine what sort of additional physical or psychiatric problems it would have caused if I was forced through that (I have enough as it is). It also makes me scared whenever I have kids.
I honestly wish we as a society could actually sit down and discuss this. Let the experts talk about it. Let the public talk about. Let the teachers, the employees, etc. talk about it. Have congressional hearings if we have to. Let the best argument win. And yet, everyone time it seems people raise legitimate concerns, at best they get immediately gagged or ridiculed, or at worst, they get fired, expelled, etc. I don't know if it is an Asperger's thing, but the whole situation is really bizarre and confusing to me (none of it makes sense).
... well that's my uneducated hot-take. I'm just glad that there was someone else here with Asperger's Syndrome that also had concern for people like us. It's nice to know that I'm not alone.

They are fostering your young offspring like you’ve abandoned them, when you haven’t. You the parent, the older, experienced one should be the first called in at signs of problems. We removed her from public school into a private school that supported and affirmed us as parents, we took away all of her online contact and her cell phone, and we carefully monitored her activity. People told us that she would hate us for this, but I refused to waver. I wasn’t concerned about her temporary feelings. I was concerned about her future and well-being. I said that I needed to be able to stand in front of a mirror at the end of the day and know that I had done everything in my power that day to save her and to keep her safe. It worked. well, thats good for you that youre able to do that. Unfortunately though, many children cant talk to their parents about things like gender without being made to feel shit about themselves. Teachers or whoever can tell children not to speak to their parents all they want, but kids WILL talk to their parents if they feel comfortable doing so. The fact that they dont shows a failure on the parents part. Hardly surprising the way she started off this talk by putting her daughter down as some kinda retard who cant think for herself, who is easily led. Not once did she or anyone else on this thread even bring her daughters view point into it. Then they act surprised that their children would rather speak to a school teacher than speak to them. Perhaps if they treated their children like human beings and not just little bits of clay they can mould into the little prototypes theyve always wanted and make them feel shit about themselves when they express themselves in a way that doesnt match what they have in mind for them, then their kids might actually come to them first. They can blame the big bad teachers all they like. It doesnt alter the fact that they fail as a parent

After not discussing it for quite some time something happened. I heard Biden's speak saying gender affirming care was healthy for children. I became upset and said how dare he lie. When a person transitions they have to be on medicine the rest of their life. They become permanent patients for the medical agencies. They are constantly under a threat of infections. I was surprised to find out that those who wanted her to transition had never mentioned to her the medical consequences of the surgery. She decided to ditch the idea of any surgery. Today she seems happier than she had been in a long time. God doesn't make mistakes. You are who you were born to be for a reason. Your only responsibility is to be the best you can be.

If you turn the meaning of an action 180 degrees and "gender affirming care" becomes the opposite of what you THINK, could be meant, nobody knows what they are discussing - if a healthy body gets cut to pieces, mutilated and castrated because someone thought THAT is the care, a confused adolescent WANTED or needs - should be considered wrong!
Any eating disorder has its roots in body-dysphoria - in puberty the body changes so much, everyone might be insecure what happens to the form of the "nearly the same" childrens bodies. You grow up, leaving childhood to become an adult. Body and brain-development take time, are not linear and often don't fit into the stories you were told about puberty - silly hormones making us do silly things: but the brain still is allowed to veto the most destructive impulses (if not intoxicated by bad decisions made before THAT impulse).
So GENDER AFFIRMING should mean: stay what you are, what you have been since birth, what your homones try to make you into - becoming an adult!
Nobody is born as a woman or a man - that much is true! Everyone has been born as a BABY. Everyone is allowed to have a childhood to learn about the world and try things out. But to affirm that learnings, you have to let those children grow up UNHARMED.
You are never born into the wrong sex (or gender) - science vs arts => but the definition of the roles, society wants you to take might be wrong - don't change your body for other people. If something tries to stop your dreams or ambitions, change society: equal oppoertunities does not mean that everyone has to do the same things.
Equal rights do not mean that you are no longer allowed to walk, jump or run - because there are wheel-chair users who are not able to do so.
Live your life the best way, you are eguipped with - and let others do the same with theirs: don't hinder, hamper or stop other people pursuing their dreams (if they are not harming anyone) but don't let them stop you in your tracks if you are sure of your way of living.

I didn't see a reason not to support trans rights in years past but I never forsaw the way this would unfold in regards to children, schools, legal ramifications when we redefine words, etc..
Once it occurred to me how this had the potential to be the next multi-billion dollar thing for the pharmaceutical/medical industry I became VERY skeptical of how all this is being handled.

This is fear mongering. It’s a lie. These people are trying to trick you. This is FAKE FAKE FAKE. This woman is a LIAR. My daughter also wanted to be a boy for a little while. She was exploring who she was. It lasted a few weeks and then she moved on to something else. There was no pressure from the school, her teachers or anyone else. She was purely exploring. QUIT spewing these lies and making people afraid of kids who are just figuring things out. QUIT being so dang judgmental. Maybe then your kids would actually want to come to you because they wouldn’t be afraid to talk to you. Don’t be DUMB!

No one is saying you don't have the right to know what is happening to your kid at school. If they're getting in trouble, doing poorly, doing well, being bullied, etc parents still have the right to know ... but if the kid goes up to the teacher and says "I'm but I don't feel s afe at home" The teachers are within their right to PROTECT that child and not out them to their parents. So many LGBTQIA+ children are beaten, murdered, or kicked out of their own homes by parents who don't accept them! For all the school knows, the child's life could be in danger!

My wife and I we had 5 boys and 3 girls, we never let our kids go to any party out of our house. Unless we knew the people very well for years, and when we did, we always ask for the house address, name of parents, time for the party. 5-10 pm? No overnight staying with them, and I always took them to the party and pick them up to come home also. We never had troubles that way.

PEOPLE!! The time has come to nominate volunteer parents or like minded teachers to teach a homeschool curriculum approved by parents and take back the power to educate properly before it is too late. The school system has already failed IMO. For the amount of time that kids spend in school they should be geniuses %100 prepared for a career or higher learning before 18 years old! This system is making a mockery out of the USA and must be stopped!

No. People should be allowed to socially transition whenever they want. People should use whatever people's preferred gender pronouns are and let them use whichever bathroom they identify with. Hell, they should have unisex bathrooms.
Some parents are bigots and would throw the child out if they knew they were lgbt. So yes kids should be protected from their parents when necessary. Social transition can save lives.

To clarify, I think she loved her daughter and tried her best, but the school barred her from every step of the process even more aggressively than this school did. She was reported for child abuse, her child was taken away. Then the child was taken to an LGBT group home where they gave her more rigorous treatment to become a guy. Then the child deleted herself.

Women, more so then men, have a tendency to "go with the group". Over the ages, the status quo has protected women where as intermittently "society" feeds men to the wolves (like getting drafted to war). I believe that big government and big business has a hold on women's minds and that's why women have so much more power than men do within our society. The powers that be want the women to have all the power in a relationship and at the work place because they can be more easily tricked into this kind of stuff.
If men still ran the household, this crap never would have gotten off the ground.
