  • Dear friends and well-wishers,
Thank you for your continued support in helping us create films that centre women and women’s lives.
For the past two years, Vaishnavi has been researching and developing a feature-length documentary titled ‘Behind The Looking Glass’. This documentary is about the lives of women whose partners have or want to ‘transition’. While we hear a great deal of “stunning and brave” stories of men, there is a deadly silence when it comes to the stories of the wives or partners. ‘Behind The Looking Glass’ will be the first of its kind in collecting such experiences of women from around the world.
With your donations, we will be able to complete the animated sections in this film. We are building 8 characters from scratch who have to remain anonymous due to possible dangers from their ex-partners. Your donation will also help us with expenditures towards post production costs. Help Vaishnavi complete this film and give a voice to these women. You will help creating a valuable resource to support other women with similar experiences, all over the world.

I’m about to donate and look for the link for the merchandise. And I’ll share your fundraising appeal in my Facebook groups, & on my timeline. I have to say, my friends’ list is small now that I speak out for the loss of women’s rights and the sexual experimentation on children. My friends and family only like my art and flower posts, not my gender critical posts.
But this video looks fantastic and important, AND EXPENSIVE to make with such a lot of beautiful animation, to make watching the hard stories easier to look at. Bravo! An important, hidden piece of the GC puzzle. Good job, Vaishnavi!!

Looking forward to listening to these women's stories. It's so important.
My heart breaks for them all, too.

Well done on this Vaishnavi 💚🤍💜

This looks to be a wonderful film in the works that will give a voice to trans widows, an important demographic to listen to as we unravel the many harms of trans ideology. Thank you, Vaishnavi!

My heart breaks for these women. They are being abused by their husbands and then abused a second time by therapists and friends gaslighting them about it.
Thank you so much for this work!

We need ppl out here speaking for us. Because I can't tell you what it's like to be happily married to a man. And then one day he decides he is a she. And she wants to have sex like a she. And you can either accept it or you're a transphobe bigot. A woman gives up her whole life to stay at home and take care of her family. I have a 24 yr old daughter with epilepsy dependent on me. So I'm 41 with no work history. No money because it's all hers. I can't just run away with a disabled child in tow. I have no one. Nothing. I thought I had my family. But that was a joke. Now this stranger walks around saying things like haha I killed him. So now I'm just a shell of what I once was. At this point I WISH THE ALIENS WOULD COME GET ME. FML. who do I go to for help? No one. It's my responsibility how can I put this shit show on anyone? I will suffer til I die. Period.

I am so sorry to hear this. I too have been married to a severely autogynephile man and as a result of that marriage lost my health, my reputation (he lied about me and people believed him) and my career because I became too ill to work. It took me many years to put my life back together. I don't want any more women to suffer like this. That's why I am one of the women speaking out in this film.

Without including the partners of women who have transitioned to men, it kind of comes across as man hating and as if only men do this. Women do this to men and children, too. I am the child of a transitioner and know of children in our community for whom it was their mum who transitioned and shattered them.
