Most of my friends are in long-term relationships and they all say they don't know how they would find a date these days.
This is all true date sites blow and, I'm not even given the time of day by hot chicks online or in person and, if I approach in person they get disgusted and, tell me off or give dirty looks and, just assume your a player cause, you had the balls to approach so, no dice and, yep with all the dating options most guys never get a chance hot or not.

What is perfectly okay for deer is absolutely disastrous for our society. We have these women who spend their best years chasing Chads who never commit and a lot of single men who could be good caring husbands and fathers. Then, by the age of 35-40, these poor women finally realize that Chads are not interested in dating them any more and try to "settle down" with a regular guy. But regular guys see no value in investing their time and money into 35-40 yo women. I remember once a woman who had a dating profile where she gave this terribly long, outrageous 'grocery list' for what kind of man she wanted. What was MISSING was anything about her. All she had was her demands, and a picture. I wrote her telling her that she has all these expectations, but is not saying a single thing about what's so great about her and why she feels she would deserve this. I told her that if such a SUPERMAN even existed, that she would have to convince such a man that she was worthy of him too. She didn't get it. When I was dating, I always put up on my profile my character traits and why a woman would want my company, and just a few things I was looking for. Nothing outrageous, just things like drug-free and not a feminist. And I would be more likely to respond to a profile that mostly talked about what she had to offer rather than what she was demanding. When I was single…way back in the eighties…..we would meet at parties and as young 20 something’s we were all searching for our future. If a girl asked what was your plan for the future and you said “ Well I am in construction”. The response was usually positive because you were a hard working guy. Thank you for your video. The long and short of what is wrong with dating in America in 2023 is that culturally, we have become too fixated with externalities -- looks, money, status, etc... As a matter of fact, most dating coaches and experts will tell you that money, looks, and status are poor predictors as to whether a relationship lasts in the long run. I'm 41 years old, and I have to admit that 20 years ago, a pretty face and a nice body was all it took to grab my attention. Now that I'm older and wiser, I'm far more interested in the kind of values a woman posesses and who she is on the inside., not that attraction and such are not important. They certainly have their place. At the end of the day, it's all about having the right balance. Younger people are always going to be more likely to be hung up on the externalities because they don't know any better. They lack life experience. They are easily distracted by what is flashy and appeals to the senses. The mature person realizes that at the end of the day, a healthy, succesful relationship is able to stand the test of time even if the externalities were to suddenly disappear. Our dating culture is crying out for a return to the basics. I think that that would result in more succesful relationships and a population that is generally happier.

Thank you for your video. The long and short of what is wrong with dating in America in 2023 is that culturally, we have become too fixated with externalities -- looks, money, status, etc... As a matter of fact, most dating coaches and experts will tell you that money, looks, and status are poor predictors as to whether a relationship lasts in the long run. I'm 41 years old, and I have to admit that 20 years ago, a pretty face and a nice body was all it took to grab my attention. Now that I'm older and wiser, I'm far more interested in the kind of values a woman posesses and who she is on the inside., not that attraction and such are not important. They certainly have their place. At the end of the day, it's all about having the right balance. Younger people are always going to be more likely to be hung up on the externalities because they don't know any better. They lack life experience. They are easily distracted by what is flashy and appeals to the senses. The mature person realizes that at the end of the day, a healthy, succesful relationship is able to stand the test of time even if the externalities were to suddenly disappear. Our dating culture is crying out for a return to the basics. I think that that would result in more succesful relationships and a population that is generally happier.

I think that general problem in the expectation (or expectations) is to seek perfectionism, which is very wrong. Now some of you will probably ask me why. It's because perfectionism is Mission Impossible (let's call it that way). We all have our virtues and faults (men, and women), but like you have told Julia, important thing is to find a compromise, and you're totally right. Also, working on our faults, we can be a better version of ourselves.
For either men, and women, if they want to leave a good impression, and realistic expectations, the most important thing is to be authentic (that's who you are, and that's not lying to yourself deep in the heart, and in deep in your head). Hi Julia, I remember years ago I’ve met a woman at a ski resort, she was the host of the after ski party.. she was hired to promote Red bulls/ Monster energy drinks.. I remember her being a stunning natural beauty.. around 21-22 y/o.She was also gifted on many fields such as dancing skills fashion, arts..and everyone at the party was trying to invite her out.. guess what?nobody could ever stand a chance, her standards were so high that nobody could even with match her..
