its so funny to me that Jenna made a sketch for something that's supposed to be a free hand project haha
three things in life are certain: death, taxes, and jenna overestimating the rate at which she can complete a project. and it's one of my favorite parts of your videos, please never change
that’s an awesome quote
I love that and your right❤😊
The idea of Netflix series where Jenna crochets and talks about life and self improvement and stuff is just so awesome ❤😊
I always get this happy feeling when jenna posts a new video. Her vibes just make me so happy:)
Totally agree
I know!
Her channel always has positive vibes and she's so inspiring! 😊
Agreed
I always have to get out a project and work on something with her! It’s really cozy
Sameeee
I always doubt your color choices until I see it all together and it looks amazing! I should know better by now 😂
Honestly, same
#same
She's got that magical color sense that some people are endowed with. I have it too. I'm always shocked when one of my scrap yarn shawls actually looks like a sane person planned it.
Well Jenna, you did it again. Another master piece next to the flower dress. You need to have a special show for all your original pieces. Thank you for sharing.
I was just thinking, that flower dress is like a museum piece!
I so agree!!!! @@BarnaliD
BACK TO CROCHETING after 2years beacuse of your new vids wow you are a legend jen.
This is a adhd crocheters dream! I could NEVER sit through making a whole sweater but you can take your time with no guidelines and have little victories *dopamine boost* with this method. I love it 😍
yesss but then the ends....
@@GemmaW-l4q I like to crochet over the ends as much as possible! Helps lessen the load so there aren’t as many at the end ☠️
i started making a moss rug for this exact reason, i can crochet random patches willy nilly, make little pom poms and whatever else i feel like andd just sew everything to the mat, it's so fun ad looks so cool!
@@GemmaW-l4qI'd get around that by making myself a rule that I can't start the next colour without weaving in an end... Although actually when I made crochet hats I trimmed the ends short and made a very multicoloured hat where the ends stick out like little bobbles 😂 I actually loved how it looked so much that I made a whole bunch and sold a few!
Seems to me Jenna has the vibez
Jenna loving this new life journey for you! It seems to be just sparking your creativity! I am almost 40 and I have 3 very young kids so I find my creativity stifled atm. But I know this is just a moment in time. Love seeing all the beautiful things you make! Thank you for posting
I also think this concept would be so cool in a monochromatic color, but with different stitches as the switches.
Random idea, crochet fashion show where the models crochet the look as they walk down the runway.
Can you be my creative director?
@@JennaPhipps I'd be honored.
This is an iconic idea ❤
I'm 70, a newbie with crochet since retiring 7 yrs ago...and girl you inspire me to give it a go!!! love your energy - wish i was younger and crocheting much sooner. Keep up the good work!!
I love to see how you are exploring your creativity in new ways! Great video as always ❤
Not seen free crocheting done using granny squares before, always in spirals and circles. You've made this really well as so many more people might have a go now.
Loved your inspiring chats, just wish I was like you in confidence at your age. ❤❤❤ Ps, think a striped hem/edging around arms and bottom could work well.🤔❤❤❤
I love your fuzzy sweater that you’re wearing… s soft & pretty on you! I’d love to try free hand crochet sometime… your doggies are sooooo adorable( they have the GOOD LIFE because of you!) your channel is so happy & interesting!
Just seeing that Jenna has posted a new video makes my week❤️
Currently sewing a crochet granny square blanket together and now I’m inspired!! Your video is getting me trough it!
you should try Tunisian Crochet!!!
Jenna you are so amazing and you keep me so busy😂 I crocheted a hexagon cardigan, and now I’m going to have to do a free form vest. I do appreciate your Podcasts, and all the work you do to entertain us and teach us. 🤗😉
Jenna you are doing such a wonderful Job and I really really appreciate your hard work👌🏻🥺💖
This is such a beautiful sweater, absolutely love these videos.
It did however remind me that I've adopted Jenna's "heh?!" into everyday life and I hadn't realised that until just now
I normally just crochet over my ends and that way I don't have that much to weave in afterwards. I love how this turned out.
Pro tip; with crochet, you can lay the danglies along the line where youll keep going, and then work it in as you go!
Love your videos so much!!! I already watched all of your videos so I always wait until you post❤ (does anybody else think that she is the bast crochet TH-camr or is it just me?)
When I'm out in public and I wanna croshet I walk and croshet at the same time😂 haven't bumped into anybody yet
🎉🎉 babe wake up Jenna posted
My favorite thing about Jenna is her “heehh?” When she asks you what you think. It’s so funny.
Was not feeling it at first, but it turned out so cool. Wow, you did a great job.
Very cute. I like it too ! I like haphazard pieces that have character.
you went full Bob Ross in this video and im DIGGING IT - also, love the vest!!
i tought the sandwitch was a sticker at first💀
Your style is so different than what I am used to seeing but I love it! You pull it off so well
I love your channel. I find a lot of inspo from you! i started my own channel and posted my first video last week!
Your attitude towards what other people think is so damn healthy and I’m HERE FOR IT❣️💞 Your best is super duper cute and inspiring! Thank you Jenna💞
Netflix series: "Better Living Through Crochet with Jenna Phipps". Also, pickle juice is awesome. Best cure for muscle spasms and Charley Horse in legs.
every time i watch a video from you i want to crochet so bad, no matter if i already crocheted multiple hours that day
I free style most of my items. I can read patterns but enjoy free styling
Your creativity amazes me. I love your personality. You are a true artist😊
I really love it. I wish that you added some circular shaped that would be unimaginable.
Actually, you did a great job since you done that in four or five days it’s really incredible .
Crocheting and knitting are definitely therapy for me! I love all of your creative projects!
You're therapy comment sent me cause i definitely crochet during my therapy sessions 😂
U know what this may be a good idea for me get me out my head of being nervous
Wow I'm going to try it for my daughter it's beautiful. Thank you for sharing .❤
Oh you Silly girl 😆 Your video gave me positive energy and motivation ☀️🌻 And the vest is so COOL 😺😊
Hello
You need to make a new free form blanket. Winter is a comin.
I’ve been crocheting for 20 years and I’ve free handed almost every design I have. But never quite like this.I’ll have to try it ❤. I have a TH-cam as well and I will definitely be doing a video like this 💯
Jenna ❤ we love you ❤ (your Jenna- Groopies all over the world ❤ ) 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hi Jenna how are you nice video my dear friend I love you too 🌹🥰😘😘Seen after a long day😊
I’m so glad I stumbled upon your video! I’ve wondered how freehand crochet works.
i would watch that netflix sieres RELIGIOUSLY. also i love the idea of freehanding with a backround of clothes you like and i will probably do it in the near future. love you jenna :)
Love the colors, love the outcome, love it all! well done! Question: what weight of yarn are you using for this project?
it looks great!! the light blue border was definitely the right choice
Love this….next time, include some circles! 🤯 mind blown.
That little jump at the end is exactly how I feel every time I finish a wearable! I have been thinking about freeform crochet a bit recently also. This video is good inspiration :)
Pickle juice is actually super healthy!! Very hydrating
Too much sodium
My mood automatically gets 100x better when i watch your videos
Its not really One Direction 🎶 😂 0:27
for some reason i read the title as “hands free crochet” and i was like oh???
It looks great, perfect for your style. Hurry back Jenna ❤
I like that you include things like lunch breaks.
I think the whole Self-development thingy is...AMAZING!!🤩
I knew it you were gonna try this technique! it turned out so good!
Luv ur vest Jenna. It's sooo cute. Everything you make is fabulous. You are sooo talented. Always look forward to your videos. You're a sweetheart. ❤❤❤
You always make me smile! Sooooo Cute! Love it! You are so off the cuff! Always a great time watching you!
Thanks, Jenna, for this video, I always wanted to make something like this, but I've never known how to make it. Once again, you've taught me something new...👏🏻 👏🏻 💃🏼
For my on-the-go knitting, I have a fanny pack and keep a vanilla or vanilla-aligned sock in there at all times on either a 9 in circular or magic loop with a 50g cake. It’s so easy to walk around with and take on the bus or train or wherever, and you don’t have to worry about losing it. It gets done when it gets donw
POV Jack ate the plant then threw up all over the sweater
Wow! Awesome job. Looks perfect on you.I recently subbed to your channel. Thanks for the honesty and inspiration.
The masterpieces just keep getting better and better 🎉
Your vest turned out wonderful, great job.
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this- But ITS BEAUTIFUL. especially with that matching collared shirt underneath- it just is absolutely wonderful.
Really cute vest! I may try this!💜💜💜
Jenna is my ADHD spirit animal 😂
MINE TOO
Aaauucs 😂
I just love how you do things great job
Loved this video and loved the result! I don't usually comment on any videos but I felt the need to say how much you inspire me with your projects as a person who doesn't wear or make many colourful clothes! Thank you Jenna 🥰
Great looking free-style vest. lovely work, Jenna. Laurie
Everytime a new video comes out I squeal with joy. You are my favorite fiber artist and I love watching your blogs as I work on my WIPS. Just adoreeeee you and wanted to leave some love 💗
It's very Jenna and very lovely !
I want to make one now! Looks fun to make. Good job Jenna.
As a fan of regular Bernat Softee, who has been trying to only stick with natural fibers and natural fiber blends for the past few years, I will definitely be buying some Bernat Softee Cotton this week! Also, If you want to exercise and crochet at the same time, I have found that a recumbent bike is perfect for that. You are sitting, so you don’t get dizzy or crash into anything, but you are still getting a lot of cardio and leg exercise.
Titguard-slash-border 😂
I love watching you. You give me ideas for my crochet projects
Jenna, I am a 49 year old women living thousands of miles away, but I find your attitude and creativity such an inspiration. I stumbled across your channel by pure chance, I am sure glad I did. I used to try to be so meticulous and perfect whilst crocheting and knitting, that i would rarely get a project completed. Now your "can do" and "Bob's your uncle" attitude, have given me the impetus to be more productive and trust myself more and just go with it. Your free hand vest is so cute, I love it. Love your bright happy personality and sense of humour. Cheers from Ireland.
i love watching your videos while crocheting 🌿(i'm making a folklore cardigan right now!) it feels like you're chatting with me
I have a tip for avoiding weaving in ends! Have you heard of the “Russian join” ? Seriously a game changer for me! Idk if it works for every situation, but now whenever I’m changing colors, especially freehand/freeform crochet, I like to do the Russian join as I go and then there’s basically no ends to weave in at the end!
Jenna that top is fabulous ❤❤❤
Jenna, you are a marvel. Thank you so much for sharing your genious, energy and successes with me.
im so early, you are my greatest inspiration for starting knitting and crochet!!
You did a Fantastic job on that vest. I could never do that without a pattern. Can not wait to see what you make next. I love watching you crochet.
You have inspired me to try this, it looked a lot of fun.
Yaayy! I have waited all day for your new video!!!
xoxo
Have you seen freeform crochet? Similar concept but you make lots of organic shapes with a variety of stitches and pin them to a base pattern and adjust until you like them then sew them together. It looks really awesome!
I love this. The vest and the video. Love your personality, and all the inspiration I get.
new fun project ... thank you
Great job. Your crochet tension is very need. Can see you are not n new member of the hobby. Nice design.💯💯
Ya! You can make crazy and weird things but… CAN you make something NORMAL.. is the question? 😉
“Jenna”and “normal” rarely are used in the same sentence, unless it’s some like “Jenna is not normal”
@eyetech1975 this is the most boomer comment I've ever read
I see this as a remake. I think one arm hole was bigger and ribbing on all openings would be great. I LOOOVE THE PATTERN
Wow this is a project! I don't think I'd have the patience to crochet 😂 great work, it looks fab ❤
Very cute!! You did a great job...
i DO crochet "with jenna" and i AM learning to love myself!
This makes me so happy
YOU make me so happy! sending ALL the love!@@JennaPhipps
