It definitely helped when they switched to much larger hooks. You get a better idea of how it works. You could see that Keith was starting to understand it. I hope he goes back and gives the more typical smaller hooks another chance.

When teaching crochet, I think it's super important to let the learner know that there's multiple ways to hold the crochet hook. When I was learning, I thought there was only pencil grip and that hurt my hand like an absolute bitch as I have arthritis, so I gave up on crocheting very quickly. When I saw a video of someone crocheting with knife grip I decided to give it another go and have now been crocheting for years as this grip is incredibly more comfortable and doable for me. I feel that teaching multiple grip types is make or break when it comes to learning crochet.

I’d love to see them try cross stitch and embroidery! There are a ton of different stitches for embroidery. Cross stitch would be easier but they could make versions of their pixelated faces they have framed above the couch.

as a musical theatre nerd, who saw les mis at Queen’s theatre in london and quietly cried for awe the whole hour long drive home, i can honestly say that Keith and Ned’s musical was the most touching piece of art i’ve ever seen.

“Letters to my Husband” makes this my favorite Try Guys video. I was already predisposed to liking it because of the subject matter and people involved, but I was blown away by the raw intensity of War Widow Keith and Stranded in a Foxhole Under an Afghan Blanket Ned. What a gem of a video.
Also, seeing Ariel and Becky’s work styles mesh so entertainingly was a joy.

I've never heard of American minutes but FYI, a lot of cultures and countries joke about certain people's perception of time being different. In my country we have kind of cowboy/rural people called "llaneros" and everything is really far away from each other and you live a very relaxed life, so in the city when you're known for pretending you're "almost there" when really you're like at home getting dressed, you respond "15 llanero minutes?!" And I've seen other non-punctual cultures jokes like that.
