We're back to that most mystical of alcohols again - the one and only absinthe! That's right, we once again dived back into the well of absinthe, this time for another round of cocktails. We sat our resident Irish People down to see what they made of these new absinthe cocktails!

You need to have a collab with Tom Scott and have some hot and spicy or some alcoholic stuff. Either that or have Tom on the channel as he has a plus channel now. He's a lightweight and you could show him some real intestinal fortitude.

In this chapter of "The Legend of O'Doherty", Ciara takes a sip of her drink and feels a disturbance in the force when she tastes water among the ingredients.
I like to think that Jaime was watching the green Absinthe fairy flying around the set while filming when he zoned out.
The glimmer in his eye, smile on the lips, and a fae whispering "Fuck yeah" in his ear. Jamie's having a grand day.

God I love how Ciara is such a cheerleader for everyone. Brings a smile to the heart.
I love how she can drink all the men under the table. She doesn't even make weird faces.

@@stephendurnan3609 why is drink "all the men" under the table the benchmark? Don't get me wrong, I love to drink but looking at Ciara, and some of my female friends, and hell even my own mother sometimes, the benchmark might need to change to drink "all the ladies" under the table.

That's our Ciara, in a nutshell; her system converts any and all alcohol to water the second it enters her mouth. Hence, no "OMG, IT BURNS!" reaction. 😄

They were like, "Come to another shoot..." and she replied, "I don't know..." "There's absinth drinks in it..." Phone clicks, and a knock at the studio door...
When she walks into any place that has bottles they tremble in fear.

@@ronray3293 Ah! Hmm... could the writers on Starcraft have been influenced by ST-TNG, I wonder? The syntax of both Wakjob's post AND Shaka's handle remind me of a great TNG episode (the title of which I can't remember right now).
Jamie is drunk, it's all in his eyes. The end of the last drink he looked like he didn't know where he was. Meanwhile the girls looked ready to start their night.
You're dead bang on about Jamie not knowing where he was at the very end. His eyes went to half mast about half way through the shoot.
He's also taking huge gulps.
@@mrgoober6320 I saw that, but there's a scientific explanation for that. All leg amputees have a hollow leg so we (I am a member) can get our drink on and hold it better than most 2 legged folks. And if we're really wanting to party we can take off our legs fill the socket with our favorite drink!

I would love to see her absolutely smashed, and the events that caused it. We need to film Ciara on a night out, and have Sir Attenborough narrate it. "Heeeeere we have a Ciara in the club, her natural environment. As one could tell with her powerful drinking abilities, that she is clearly the Dominating Alpha in this pack. She turns down suitors, and some fall upon their backs, completely imbibed with liquor, that they can no longer stand".

i used to think she was an AI in a robot body that was powered by alcohol, a la Futurama, until i saw some of the blooper reels for this show and realized she's all too human
As soon I saw a notification picture of Ciara and absinthe, it was "stop what I was doing time". The ladies deserved the subscribe message. Paddy: "Those are all alcohols!" Ladies: "Cool!" 🤣🤣🤣
When Colin was reading the ingredients I could imagine him smiling while saying them. Seamus was hilarious, as always, but I loved watching Grainne and Ciara enjoying each drink. This video was a delight!
2:15 Cucumber is a fruit, specifically it's a berry.
5:13 The stem on a wine glass is there to keep the drinker from affecting the temperature. The conical shape of a martini glass is so when served chilled the area of the glass will keep the drink cold since martinis are served without ice. The proper way to drink a martini is to hold it by the stem without touch the bowl and then your off hand under the base for support. The only time you're really cupping the glass is in a snifter and that's because you want the opposite effect, you want the heat of your hand to act on the drink.

I'm looking at the ingredients as the drinks progress, and I swear it's like they are trying everything they can to get Ciara locked while being heedless of the casualties along the way 🤣
The intro pictures for La Tour Eiffel, The Sun Also Rises, and The Necromancer are mixed.
I think they just messed up the glasses from the photo to the actual video shoot. The drinks seem to match the names still.

This is seriously my favourite TH-cam channel in existence. I love the sense of humor I see here, and that I am continuously Irish and an alcoholic. God only knows what other concoctions the Try channel will introduce me to in the future. Lord save my paycheque the burden of another bourbon!

The best thing about absinthe is you can get an excellent buzz in just a couple drinks and not have a hangover the next day. I once saw someone describe it as “an entire night out of drinking in one glass” and that is spot on.

the necromancer is called that because it is classified as a corpse reviver drink. it's based off the corpse reviver #2, i believe. corpse revivers were a class of drink traditionally intended for the morning after as a hangover "cure". because you can't get a hangover if you never stop being drunk.

Florida used to have (could still have) a distillery that makes a Red Absinthe that (running from memory here) has a nice orange flavor, the red coloring comes from local herbs used in the crafting.
