I did the same thing on satin black wheels that were on my daily. The wife liked messing them up. I didn’t have to do the whole rim , just certain areas a couple of times I used a satin chassis paint that matched perfectly. We traded the car then sold the wheels. Business 101 is to buy low and sell high. I'm glad you used a 2K clear to finish the wheels for durability. Unless they were powder coated to begin with, you put just as good a finish on them as the factory did. How many people daily buy old cars rebuild/rehab them and sell them for lots of money? Flipping wheels is one of my greatest side hustles ive had since highschool. When i was a kid we lived right next to a junkyard literally on the corner of my neighborhood entrance. I would go out there and buy wheels for 30 bucks a piece and then sold them out my driveway for 4-500 easy and quick. When i was about 16 or 17 i told the junkyard owner i was flipping wheels, next week all the ones i wouldve pulled were lined up at the gate with 4-800 dollar prices on them. Nowadays ill go pick up sets from jeep owners theyre almost always all good they just wanted different styles so id get them for about 150-200. I immediately list them before i even get home for around 600 usually. They sell so fast. That was around 15 years ago i was doing that. Now you can get the big 20x12or14s for so cheap if they have curbing. I just picked up a set of 20x14 xd riots last week for 350, cleaned em up today going to put on a set of tires i got last week for 100 bucks. Gonna use them to trade for a nice set or rock em on my duramax lol. Most people selling the nice big sets are doing so cause they wouldnt fit or they want to go back to stocks. Also flipping stocks is a major good hustle. You can get them qith good tires for about 150 then trade them for a 1200 dollar set you can quick sale for around 800. I remember seeing this vid years ago, youve come a long way Judah and never backed down. Proud of you man, we live so close i see you around all the time. I raced you in the camo giveaway truck one night randomly around midnight, maybe you were just driving and i was racing myself lol

Yeah the lips will fade with just uv exposure.. They will chip shortly after if they already haven't.... No rattle can paint will hold up well in the auto world. Guy got taken on this deal...
It's called business, side Hustle, flipping wheels whatever, its making money. When you see something of value, and someone else needs it you haggle a little. I have literally found items, invested my time and money and turned around and made a profit. Its fun and you end up buying what you need without going into your savings? Or at least hit it less. You did a good job on the side rash bro.
My buddy opened a used tire shop and I was helping him out. Guy was putting custom wheels on his new ford and we basically installed his new wheels on and kept his old ones for doing it. Sold them for 600 next day. Guy was glad to buy them because he could by one for that.
Good vid, i want to see if i can help a little bit. After sanding degrease the wheel then use a sandable primer filler, then bare metal will have something for the paint to stick to and it will last. Then clear coat. If the damage is like a chunk taken out, use a bondo with fiberglass in it, to fill the gouge then sand smooth then some filler putty very thin to fill the sanding marks then primer, paint and clear.
Note to youtube watcher just because you watched someone do something with experience does not mean you can do it yourself that easily with all the tools and correct material and time this was fair for the profit
thats not to bad of an idea and i see EVERYONE doing it but for more professional results the way he did it was the way to go... except the nasty over spray and the fact that its rattle canned to hell
Good profit, close up garage go for summin to eat...come back next day, another 4 wheels to work on and sell....I used to SANDBLAST and POWDER COAT Wheels...but u need spray/blast booth and an oven which is biggest asset...the money is very good....
Yo are you for real! Dudes gonna be hot when he gets home and washes off your tire shine and sees the overspray all over them tires and finds out you painted them. Im ALL about flipping stuff n making a buck. But if your going to do a crappy job of masking off before you paint then tell them they've been repaired or do a better quality job and take your time and nobody would ever know.... But otherwise you did great bcuz from what I could see from the video the rims looked good.
Good job on most of the wheels. Take 10 more seconds a wheel and cover all of the tires. I’ve done the same thing it sucks. Lol things you’ll learn your first time doing them
You can also get a deck of cards and wedge them in the bead of the tire all the way around and you can keep most of the overspray off the tires and it’s easier than taping the tire off. Casino usually has free decks of cards 🤙

That clear coat wasn't junk, how clear they are and how shiny depends on the finish. Satin is kinda in between matte and gloss so that on you, not the clear.
Next time you are at a flea market buy a pack of playing cards, they are great for putting between the tire and rim prior to painting and you can reuse them.
What I've learned from this video. Buy mid tear rims clean for 20-30 bucks sell as High class for "scam" prices. Beating the system 101. Keep the work up good vid!

Gotta live the hustle, good job sir!
Thanks man💯💪
Sure have come a long way! I love it.
Honest l bought some like that in that condition here in TN for $800 dollars but will never pay over $1500 on used wheels
Note to youtube watcher just because you watched someone do something with experience does not mean you can do it yourself that easily with all the tools and correct material and time this was fair for the profit
Instead of taping off the tire, I keep a couple decks of cards and just wedge them between the tire and wheel
thats not to bad of an idea and i see EVERYONE doing it but for more professional results the way he did it was the way to go... except the nasty over spray and the fact that its rattle canned to hell
Invest in super clean, comes in a purple bottle or you can buy it by the jug. You’ll love the results.
I been diluting it 5:1 for regular use, full power on tires
9:17 “it came out perfect” HAHAHAHAHA
Good profit, close up garage go for summin to eat...come back next day, another 4 wheels to work on and sell....I used to SANDBLAST and POWDER COAT Wheels...but u need spray/blast booth and an oven which is biggest asset...the money is very good....
They would’ve been cool as hell with polished metal sidewalls since there’s polished metal on the inside
Rims came out really good and buddy was happy.. That's all that counts..
The term "brake dust" will fly through their mind when they brush off that overspray.
Casino usually has free decks of cards 🤙
i like using the 3x5 cards, only a few bucks and you get a ton of them
Lysol toilet bowl cleaner 10x power destroys brake dust. Cleans rims to new trust me works so good!
🔥🔥🔥All my life, been grindin' all my life
Sacrificed, hustled, paid the price
Want a slice, got to roll the dice
That's why, all my life, I been grindin' all my life!!!!
Next time use auto dealing acid....it takes that brake dust off easily. Spray it on and let sit for no more than 5-7 seconds then hit it with the pressure washer
That deal at the end really was a great sell. You were nice to the guy and he left happy.Eveyone won.
You shall know what you doing man you definitely know what you doing know what's up but what up which.
I respect any hustle 👏🏼
Love the video. I'm only 18 and I'm looking for ways to make money and this looks like a great way to do so. Thanks for inspiring me!
Love that hustle bro just earned yourself a subscriber
Boss man moves! I respect your grind, job, hustle or whatever they call it. 🤙🏾 Keep making it and hide it...
That clear coat wasn't junk, how clear they are and how shiny depends on the finish. Satin is kinda in between matte and gloss so that on you, not the clear.
With overspray like this, you could either use a thick coat of ArmourAll tire shine or wipe with gasoline to clean the tires up.
Just liked & subscribed, love the hustle man, keep it up !
Thanks man 🤘🤘
Good to know I'm not the only one that flips shit. Easy money. Keep hustling
💪💪
He spends longer taping then I do on homework lol
H Thibert and he still got overspray on the tires lol
Next time you are at a flea market buy a pack of playing cards, they are great for putting between the tire and rim prior to painting and you can reuse them.
If the tires weren't "stretched" there would be no curb rash.
Good stuff bro teach me lol. I work in IT wish i knew more about cars and making money like you do. Seems like it would be fun. Keep up the good work.
This is the definition of spending money to make money
I flipped three sets of rims for 1700$ last year in November. Except I didn’t bother cleaning them. I just bought and resold in a different zip code.
What I've learned from this video. Buy mid tear rims clean for 20-30 bucks sell as High class for "scam" prices. Beating the system 101. Keep the work up good vid!
Lol. The rims are 4500 new . 2500$ is a very fair price . They looked great when they were done
