    When I saw the filler I thought he'll never make it match the rest of the wheel especially because its diamond cut, nearly choked on my coffee when you did. You are seriously talented and you're only using regular everyday equipment.

    The way you repair stuff reminds me of the type of things i do to get out of situations. Its mad how they’re the methods that always work best. Find it insane how you can do stuff without the need for specality equipment and labour intesive things like removing tyres from rims etc. bless this channel. An absolute gift

    Blooming heck! …I was saying to myself - that’s a shame flattened but you can see the repair …then you blended it in completely …brilliant! I’m now looking to see how you do a painted rim with a bit of a squared profile on the edge ….my fault for having 20” on a van!

    Great end result. Replicating Diamond Cut finish is difficult.
    Perhaps use some playing cards to protect the tyre when sanding with power tools so rubber is not scuffed?

    Great video. I know it's small filler area but i would avoid going over with water as it absorbs it and can blister up after time.

      Ford moondust is normally pretty close. Maybe needed Blending a little further out to take ur eye off of it

    Excellent work, like brand new. Do you know if it's possible to fill in the stone chip on the diamond cut rim if it only slightly dented the clear coat and then sand it down to level and polish? What clear coat do you use?

    Just a quick question, will the wheel require balancing after repair since we are sanding and that may change the weight distribution.

      I would get wheel rebalanced anyway. Even the kerb damage can effect it

      Normal paint compound works to polish the metal. I use a 2k clearcoat

    Hiya mate. Great finish btw. I’m a smart repairer of 17 yrs.. I take it you used solvent paint as you used wire wool to create the diamond cut marks ?? Also what did you use before the panel wipe on the tyre to get the dressing off. The tape stuck to it well considering it had dressing all over it. Cheers Paul.

    Hi, have a question. So after filler sanding you just sprayed couple of light coats of paint and brushed it with cloth? No laquer on that?

      There is only a tiny amount of filler in reality

    Could weld new material onto that spot and the cut the wheel.. no filler needed just a new clear coat

    My diamond cut the lacquer is starting to lift in places i want some do exactly what you did spray the diamond cut to look like diamond cut. Because the lacquer just wont hold on the bare metal i was quoted 600 to refurbish my 4 wheels the have zero damage. So I'm not getting them refurbished to diamond cut only for same thing to happen again no thanks. You will only get 12 mths guarantee on the finish of diamond cut. Spraying is better job.

    Without wishing to try to teach granny how to suck eggs this job would have been a little easier if you had just deflated the tyre to move it back a bit, other than that a great tutorial.
