Turned out Great. My wheels would be a nightmare to fix. They are a machined finish with transparent gunmetal paint over them. And yes, I curbed one real good.☹

Cans can do it,but for me, it would be easier to use a spray gun. I appreciate the support 👍

I would think with a Mercedes you would have that feature called a Birdseye view where when you’re going slow, ( usually slower than 9 miles an hour ) you can turn your camera on to see how close you are to a curve. I don’t know if that’s a exclusive Toyota/ Lexus only feature. Nice job on the wheel.👍

Go to Dollar Store. Buy a pack of playing cards, and place them in between the tire and the rim. Perfect paint mask between the ourside of the rim and the tire.

Interesting video! New subscriber. Any advice on getting rust off of older Chevy Rally rims? Seems like a wire wheel on a drill is going to take forever and doesn't do a great job in the crevices. I'm guessing I probably need to get them sandblasted (or new rims).
Sand blasting is your best bet

Do you recommend metal reinforced bondo for deeper rashes? If yes, will the same 2k epoxy be compatible?
I sand it out in the metal make sure the wheel is safe and doesn't need replacement

That wheel was turned out great! Its really cool you can get that kind of result out of a spray can. Rattle cans have come a long way lol.

I just got some new rims on my truck,,, made a turn on a long curb thinking it was a short curb,,, scraped the whole side of my front rim,, decided to buy another new rim and get the damaged one repaired,, so now i have an extra rim just in case any other one gets damaged 💁

Is a single 2k clear coat can enough to cover 4 wheels (2 coats each)?

When you are using spray # 3682071, you say "They mix it in the can" Who mixes it in the can? What are they mixing? The color? You say "From the toner off the bank" Not sure if you are saying "toner" or some other word. But I guess for my wheels, 2021 Hellcat Read Eye Carbon Fiber, how do I know what color to get?
Paint store mixed it off there system

Curbing a wheel is the worst, i have a f150 with wheels offset about 1.5 inches. I dont even attempt most banks or curbed drive thrus
