I am completely new to 3D printing so forgive me if this is a silly question... what was the purpose of the object between its legs? I'm assuming a support of some sort but it didn't really seem to attach to anything?
Yup that was support, it went up to the bottom of the mouth and was very light support that just for good measure. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
@@stevekay6895 my first project is a clear base to hold some long crystal rods I bought, with LEDs to go in to light them up from below. I'll practice on some easier objects and materials first though lol
@@namewithheld7835 I got it off Bambi Lab’s Maker World, probably other places too. I’m pretty sure it was my fault, I printed the spool it was on and it wasn’t exactly the best so my AMS wasn’t spinning it good enough. Just my guess.
Yup, slight mishap with my spool of white. I printed it on the "fool plate" LOL and it was kinda warped so my AMS had trouble spinning it when switching to black and eventually caused a disaster in the AMS. COMPLETELY my fault 🤦
would have actually made for a great video in hindsight. I learned a few things and this was my first real 3D printing disaster. The things I learn the most from :)
The more I look at this the more it makes me think of Monokuma from Dangonrampa...Maybe a future print/video ????

@@stevekay6895 thanks :) I have a Bambu X1C waiting to be unboxed, can't wait to get started!
@@MiniStockpot awesome!!! Hope you make some cool stuff and have as much fun as I do :)

@@MiniStockpot good idea !! There is definitely a learning curve and tolerances can be tricky so that’s a great plan !
Nice. But why did it turn solver near the head? Also stl available?
Unfortunately I had the spool unravel on me while it was printing and I lost all of my white 🥲.
Silver was the next closest color I had
It was all my fault, I printed out a spool and bought a refill but the spool printed poorly and I shouldn’t have used it
@@stevekay6895 probably because of the temperature difference. Is the stl available to download somewhere?

partial nozzle clogg or u switched to a new spool towards the end

@@stevekay6895 ams itself could be better tbh
For some reason at 0:07 i thought it's going to be a thicc bear.
😂 that’s too much !!
Maybe I need to design that one XD
oof bambu lab. brim.
