This is one of the most under explained things in boxing, there are very few tutorials on this subject yet it is such a big fundamental element of good boxing. Took me years to work this out on my own. Big thumbs up for this

When people talk about stance it’s almost as if they think it’s a static stance similar to karate. Yet in reality you are always adjusting your position with weight transfer and head movements.

They are way to learn with less punishment... learn the moove on here if no one can teach it to you. Sharpen it in shadow boxing & implement/time them with a good sparring partner that wants you to learn. Sparring can be thrills to, 4 hits each in turn, or a round with only left hand, or only right hand. Shit like that is fun and give other perspectives on your boxing game. So it grows...

Love the way you talk to us explaining those "basic" moves, positions and punches plus all that adjusting information behind them. For me it is clear that it is a hard job that requires years of practice and dedication. I am very grateful that you share all this information with us. Greetings from Gran Canaria.

When you lean on the right side the left hook is less powerful but it is thrown more often than not as a counter for when the attacker is coming in which makes it effective cause they are walking into it.

Thank you for the clear and concise onboarding into the fundamentals and exercises of boxing. The way you packaged everything is easy to follow and I don't feel overwhelmed by content that is all over the place. I have been a fan of boxing all my life, but only a hardcore since around 2015. In that time I have done several videos from youtube on boxing motivation, training etc but never really took the time to learn the fundamentals. Looking forward to more deep dives into fundamentals in the next few weeks. Thanks Coach Anthony.

You are an awesome trainer. I'm an amateur boxer from Germany and train in a gym. But unfortunately never had a qualified trainer and nice person like you at my side, who gave me advice. Everything I know now, I had to learn through different kinds of media. I'm not regreting, because it was an important experience. But it took me some time. Although I later went for trainer certification myself, there was no teacher in the courses I took like you with your kind of accomplished technique and a talent for explanation. Thanks a lot! Hopefully there will be a lot of further information and videos on this channel. Do you offer an online training with full training routines in the future? I'd love to participate! Regards from Germany

Great video once again coach! I primarily fight from the middle position, since I do muay thai, but transfering weight over the lead leg quickly to explode with powerful left hooks is something I like to do. Or Ill block with the right forearm while stepping in over my lead leg to load up, and counter with a left hook. That one gives me lots of success.

I really appreciate the approach, Coach. Explaining the thought process and applications behind acquiring techniques is more important than just showing movement step by step. Don't get me wrong though - drills are key, but a good beginner introduction accelerates learning/mastering of a given move. Looking forward to other vids done in this manner.

Thanks bro, and I enjoy your vids. I'm also a boxing instructor and my gf tries to talk me into creating a boxing train vid myself, something for me to think about, but anyways keep grinding on your vids. And thanks for sharing, some things that I could be teaching wrong I can learn from my mistakes and better my teachings, that's if I'm in wrong but hasn't been wrong yet, I do teach with the Shell but sometimes the shell can be not effective but can be if taught and done right but I do like to be versatile in the positions and stances it just what works right for my students.
