I sat through many timeshare pitches and I actually felt kind of bad for each sales person assigned to me. Why ? Because I always told them upfront that I wouldn't buy anything and at exactly 90 minute mark I was leaving and wanted my "free gift" My favorite moment, while the guy was pitching a 17K unit at Oak Plantation in Kissimmee, I googled timeshares for sale in the complex for one dollar, people desperate to dump them and exorbitant maintenance fees. And showed him...The lesson here, ya gotta play hardball with these scumbags.

We also signed and bought timeshare 2019 in Vegas. After getting back from the presentation it “felt good” because they kept congratulating us as we were “timeshare owners” but at the back of my mind it didn’t sit right so I re read all the documents and realized it was scam. I read the documents 5x and it said we could cancel everything that we signed within 5days of signing the contract (that page was stamped “YOUR COPY” in red ink huge print so you won’t read it!) I called to cancel NO ONE ANSWER SO I WROTE A LETTER wanting to cancel with copy of the document from them that we could do so. I mailed it with signature required to make sure they get it I even tracked it. Thankfully the contract was cancelled. It saved us $500 monthly for life.

    Hi guys!
I’m so sorry this happened to you. I am a young hospitality professional and I recently took a jab at becoming a salesman on the vacation club side of the industry, thinking things may have changed for the better and it would be a good stepping stone in my career.
I was wrong. I quit the day I first shadowed a top performing salesman during training. The things he said were so misleading, so unwise, and he actually flat out lied about a few things. It made me sick.
Sales is nothing without integrity, and I saw none of it in that office. I am currently pursuing employment at a hotel brand that has nothing to do with timeshare. I’ve lost respect for the brands that allow this to happen.

I went trough this presentation in florida hahaha. We stick to saying No No No. And we got 350 dollars. We told them since the begining we are not interested and yet they say they will convince us but did not. They do put a lot of pressure on you and its something they dont tell you. At the end is not a gift they give a way its a payment for being able to tolerate all their bullshit.

The paper that you say the said not to read... is called the public offing statement for the the state. it says WARNING PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU SIGN .. but the loophole is they legally only have to show you it , thats why you really go into a recorded room, everything up to that point is all FLUFF, you cant sell it , you cant rent it really , you cant easily will it nor would you want to. there is never availably at the good resorts, and your macitence fee climbs,, there are SOME people who REALLY LOVE their time shares but they travel CONSTANTLY for different reasons than most and only go through the exchanges like RCI / II with a small piece of a home resort.. I know all this becuase I used to sell Time shares , I was always honest and let the people make their own decisions, I even told many people during the presentation who I can tell were already struggling NOT to buy it , if my manager would have heard that I would have been canned, but they fired me anyway. The entire industry is crazy , not just Diamond , but Diamond have a special breed of scum working for them.,

They own the credit card company and one of the things you signed was for credit cards best thing is just dont pay put any property in kids names and change your number and don't think about it and you're not a sucker in any way they get so many people from all walks of life they play on emotions tell you anything tell you you can leave it to your kids that you'll save money all lies

I was approached to buy a timeshare in Gatlinburg until they told me how much the yearly maintenance fee was I was considering it. What they were charging for a yearly insurance they called it but it was basically a maintenance fee I could bring my entire family to the Mts. and stay in a very nice Hotel Two times for just one year of their Fee. The guy trying to sell it to me had gotten so belligerent that we just walked out of the interview when I told him they were ripping people off with the Maintenance fee...........They could make a Mint just giving you the Condo or Timeshare and just let you pay the Maintenance fee every year

But to get the cc, you have to fill out the form. 0% interest for 6 months. QA asks several times if you’re sure you want to do this. Goes over maintenance fees, monthly payments and your credit cards. Diamond is low at times, to get a cc you have to fill them out.
You don’t have to stay, to get your gifts, you stay for 2 hours to get them. Anytime after that you can leave with no worries. It took all day because you let it. 1-800-the-club is what you call, no one calls you. Canceling is a thing. It’s a form in your paperwork, cancellation form. Losing your points is okay for walking away.
You stress the credit card, it’s Barclays. I’m a contract processor at diamond. It is illegal for us to run anything without a filled out form, especially two different cards. The sales are asshats most of the time, nino is definitely one.
You have the paperwork for it all. You also read them in QA. You have to. Get your video from QA at polo. They save them all.
No one tells you not to read.

That's right 3 times vacation a year including hotel and air for 1800 dollars cause Expedia has top of the line deals. Every vacation was 7 days. Very very cheap
