That's why many countries, including India, face poverty. People often blame their corrupt governments without considering that those in power come from among them and share similar behaviors and attitudes. To create a better government in the future, we need to change the way people think, promoting and praising integrity and honesty in the lives of children. The leader of any country will always reflect the character of the majority of its population, with a few exceptions.

I personally believe we don't stand up enough and that's the problem. We need to hold our governments to higher standards and push people like trump and MAGA and other bullshit out of office.
We need more protesting, more anger against the system. I want to see signs outside not just the white house but every freaking office in the country.
Always intrigued by the ones who stay on the line long enough to end up going "dude, what are you talking about, I was running a scam". Gotta wonder why they don't just hang up!

Alot of these scammers are in massive call centers and they are paid a commission on each scam they make, so they have motive to stay on the line and alot of their employers will actually tell them they are not allowed to hang up, that their victim has to hang up or they can only hang up under certain circumstances/ when the person they are talking to knows they're scamming

Who the heck would even want that house... Over-priced garbage with MASSIVE property taxes and in a state that has like 50% tax on your income... Complete waste of money. Only the idiots of Hollywood or NBA would buy a house like that, and thats why so many of them end up broke later in life...

It's an art to be able to be able to keep improving BS that sounds relevant to the ongoing conversation but slips under the awareness of the listener.

As an Indian, we also have problems with these frustrating scammers. I receive over 10 calls a month from people trying to scam me. How can we control them? I don't understand why the government isn't addressing this issue. Additionally, the Indian government has implemented an OTP system for online card transactions, which I find inconvenient because it prevents me from using PayPal.
These scams are run in buildings owned by rich dudes who pay the local governments to turn a blind eye to it from my understanding.

Only 10 calls a month? I nearly get that many on a daily basis. The same opening line every time from different numbers. I block and they call back with a new one, all local numbers. Frustrating as I run a business and expect legitimate calls often. I hate it, every time my phone rings I cringe.

My favorite scam right now are the unsolicited phone calls where they want to buy your house even though it's not for sale. They call you, ask if you will consider selling, then they refuse to make an actual offer because they want you to name the price. 😆

This video cracked me up! Having worked in real estate over 20 years now, this is one of the funniest interactions I have seen someone have with a scammer.
How very relevant. Just went through a whole ordeal cause I needed a place to live pretty urgently, and my partner and I found like 10+ scammers in just the span of a couple weeks. It's insane.
Were you contacting licensed real estate agencies, though? Ones with actual shop fronts and solid local history?
You should never try to rent directly from a "landlord". That's always high risk - even if they're not scammers.

When my parents were selling their house some scammer used the info to do a rental scam. The guy did the same thing, ridiculously cheap price but had to pay first month's rent as a deposit before even seeing the place. People kept randomly stopping by, some just to check out the property and some angry that they were ghosted after paying the deposit. Their real estate agent had to deal with law enforcement to get it all to stop but it took a few months before the insanity died down.

One time a scammer called my mom claiming to be my nephew and said “omg Nephewsname how did you manage that!? You can’t even walk!” The guy hung up so fast. 😂

I don't know if anyone can help with this, but my mom was recently scammed out of $20k through a banking scam, and her actual bank did nothing to help. When she told me about the scam interaction, I immediately told her to call the bank. She did. They told her they froze her accounts. They didn't. They pinpointed the fraudulent account. Took no action for 3 weeks. By then the account was drained.
Get all evidence contact police contact corporate of the bank. They definitely are at fault after they were informed of the scam and didn't take action. If they dont replace money. Get attorney to write a letter stating you're suing. I am not a banker just do research on FDIC and their liability

you should have made the story that you went there, spoke to the property owner and they sold you the property for the same price the scammers were asking for. That would be hella funny. Also sign up to the forms using a disposable email address, they are very easy to get online.
out of all the apartments I have rented, only 1 sounded too good to be true. I got a 3br 1ba for 950 a month HOWEVER, No doors were hung, there was paint everywhere on the floors, and the walls looked like easter, Light yellow, Cyan, and Blue. If you ever get one of these apartments, take care of it with your life and make sure you get renewed 1 year leases.
Or even better, 2 year leases or more
Yeah my place is very cheap for its size and location. I am fine with the decor and finish being poor, but leaks have also developed through the walls due to lack of exterior maintenance (brickwork mortar/pointing and the gutters) and now it's a nightmare haha.

Foreclosed property, "the owner won't be able to speak with you" - If the property was foreclosed, the owner is the loan company.

in this specific instance, the scammer themselves actually said they were in india, but what bothers me about all these TH-camrs besides kitboga is they keep going on about india and indians. and even here dylan is like “india must be full of the most amazing people” in a memey way. like they think they’re not being racist or say they’re not but they still are without realizing. like even the videos with images/thumbnails of random indian people in them - why? it serves no point and just fosters bigoted behavior instead of analyzing why india specifically is like this. it sucks because these youtubers are otherwise doing good work by trolling/hacking scammers.
