      @@GoGorillas Valid point. You don't have to spend $2,500, only have to earn 5,000 tier points in a day to earn Diamond. Some folks are luckier than others and earn tier credits with less coin in than others. 😉

    Playing for credits is a dangerous game. You should play at a level that’s enjoyable and affordable, any benefits you get is a bonus. Nobody should be gambling $25,000 to get a $100 meal

      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi James, if someone is going to gamble and wants to earn status, it makes sense to play during a 5x tier event. I certainly hope no one is gambling $25,000 to get a $100 meal. Caesars Diamond offers much more than just the $100 Celebration Dinner.

    I worked for Caesars.
    1- show your card when paying for your room
    2- show it every time you eat.
    3- use it every time you play
    In other words use it for everything. You gain your points on everything.

    I was diamond going back almost 18 years.... on our last trip we gambled over 9k on pai gow and didn't even reach Platinum! We played at Planet Hollywood,Bally's,Harrah's and Paris in Las Vegas. We had a Royal Flush,3 straight flushes,and 5 four of a kind.. I posted all wins on our Community page... and they took away the free veterans parking! Great video. I have the highest level possible at Cosmo and might lose it to MGM rewards since their purchase. Just in the last three months our in and out slots was / 59000 not afraid to share. Remember keep your receipts in case somebody doesn't believe you.

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jim, that's a shame that $9k coin in only got you to Platinum. 😢 It's harder to earn tier points on table games vs slots. I came up 2k tier credits short on earning Diamond in a Day during the Easter 5x. But I only spent less than $2k.
      Yeah, mixed blessings on Cosmo moving to MGM. Will definitely miss those great cocktails.

    All your information was spot on, but 15,000 points in one day even with the five times which I have never seen in Vegas and only in my local Harrahs Joliet, makes it a almost impossible task. Also, Caesars changed the daily 4 free drink coupons, you now need to be diamond plus or above which is 25,000 points. And with all the diamond lounges being closed, not a lot of perks. According to my host, Caesars is catering more to the non-gambler than they are the gamblers-No need to comp the rooms, non-gamblers are willing to pay full price. Have been to Vegas four times since November, Vegas is back!
    Very informative video…

      Hi Tony, thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Earning 15k points in a day can be hard. But it's much easier to achieve during a 5x event because you only need to earn 2,500 points. Yep, it's a bummer about the drinks and the closure of the Laurel Lounges. Pent up travel demand has been a boom for Caesars and the other casinos for sure. 👍

    Here's a question. I recently played at Caesar's during their 5x promotion day. I earned 1060 tier credits which x5 should put me over 5000 which should then qualify me for hte 10,000 daily bonus. To make a long story short after going back and forth with Caesar's customer service they are saying I only get daily credit on what I earned and not the credits I received through the 5X promotion....so I received 1000 points for the daily bonus versus 10,000. Does this sound correct to you?
    New response from Caesars: Because the 5x promo points are credited to the account on a different day then you earned the points, it is not considered the same day. What a joke

    These seem like some good tips. I was just in Vegas for the Easter weekend and I did get to take advantage of the 5x promo. I have Diamond status now but hopefully I can take advantage of these tips and maintain it easier. I also have the Caesar Visa card which, apparently, is now offering tier credits on purchases outside of Caesars. That can really help. You also get your regular reward credits. Can someone clarify - If I spend $1000 on hotel/room charges and check out on the final day of the 5X promotion, I should be getting 5000 Tier Credits total. But the question is do I get the 10,000 bonus for getting 5,000 in a day? Or will they only recognize the 1,000 base points for tier bonus? Also one other thing - you mentioned charging food from restaurants to your room to get the 5X, but don't participating restaurants already count towards dining and thus you'd be getting 5 TC per $1? I know I usually get the 1TC per $1 when I use my card at most restaurants so I'm not sure if there's a stipulation preventing 5TC per $1 at these restaurants. Or is the trick just to try to have it all billed on one day to try to get as many Tier Credits awarded on the single day for bonus tier purposes? Appreciate all the helpful tips on here! :)

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Markus, because there was too much confusion with hotel checkout dates during 5x tier credit events, Caesars stopped allowing the 5x tier credits on hotels this summer. Now, you can only get 5x tier credits on gambling and dining (participating Caesars restaurants).
      Yes, during a 5x tier event, if you earn 5,000 TC a day, you'll get a 10,000 TC bonus.
      You only earn 1 TC per $1 spent on dining normally. To earn Diamond in a Day from dining, you'd have to earn 5,000 tier credits which means spending $5,000 at restaurants.

    • @markussultan
      @markussultan 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TravelingWellForLess So I actually just called Caesar’s Rewards yesterday and it sounded to me like the confusion was over the previous 5:59A cutoff. I was told by the representative that the 12/19-12/22 event goes until 11:59P on 12/22 and that if I checked out on 12/22 that the hotel stay would count toward the 5X promotion. So it seems like they’ve fixed the actual problem over the confusion which was completely on their end. I guess I’ll report back on 12/23 and see if that was true or not 😂

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@markussultan that's incorrect. The fine print shows it ends at 5:59a on 12/22. Hotel charges are no longer applicable. I would not count on the hotel charges to count so you many want to just focus on your play and dining.

    Hey!
    I plan on going to Vegas June 5-7, which to my understanding is a 5x multiplier event.
    I will be making sure I get Diamond in a day!
    Thank you for this video!
    A couple questions if you don’t mind:
    1) I had thought the 2,500+5,000 and 5,000+10,000 bonuses were only given on the first day of having your rewards card. Is this not the case?
    Seemingly not if you have to register for 5x in advance?
    2) If I were to amass 5,000 in one day, would that then get me 20,000 extra for 5x and then also the 10,000 bonus?
    I’ll also make sure to play the games you suggested!
    Thank you so much!

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ryne, the 5x bonuses aren't tied to being a new player. You can earn it anytime there's a 5x tier event. If you earn 5,000 tier points in a day during a 5x event, you'll get a 10,000 bonus for a total of 15,000 tier points. Good luck 🤞 and let me know if you have any other questions.

    The main issue (for those that do not gamble much) is the theoretical loss for slots (and actual loss, since sometimes you can really be destroyed by variance) based on the coin in that yields 2500 or 5000 tier. Also, the "best games" require significantly more play to earn tier (like good VP is $25 to 1 tier point or $50 to 1 tier point) -- it can be pretty expensive to gain DIAD through gambling. Of course, if you are going to gamble anyway.... 😉

    • @TravelingWellForLess

    Can you clear this up for me, does the BASE portion of the DIAD get calculated AFTER 5x is applied? Or does the BASE portion get calculated on BASE points BEFORE the TC multiplier is in effect?
    1) $1000 x 5 TC = 5000 TC + 10k TC bonus = 15k total TC
    OR
    2) $1000 x 1 TC = 1000 TC + 1200 TC bonus + (1000 x 4 TC multiplier) 4000 TC = 6200 total TC

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Dallas, the 5X is only calculated on the base portion. You do not earn 5X on the tier bonus. Caesars IT can split it so that they know to only award the 5X on the base regardless of whether the TC bonus is applied.

      Tier CREDIT is not tier score. When you earn 1,000 tier "credit" that's just $10 of purchasing money, it has nothing to do with your Tier Score. Call Caesars, they'll tell you the same thing.
      Tier Credit is "rewards", it has nothing to do with your Tier Score.
      1 tier credit equals 1 penny.
      You can be a Gold Card and still have a Tier Credit of 75,000 - that equals to $750 in "CREDIT" aka rewards to spend. (this lady seems to have no clue about the actual requirements for obtaining a Diamond and/or 7 Star card.

    • @aurorapokergear
      @aurorapokergear 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ojibwayne2896 I think you're onto the right idea, but you're confusing the terminology. Tier Credits are what determine your status level. Reward Credits are what you can spend in the casino, on your room, meals, etc. For those who are confused about the terminology--and it can be confusing--Tier Credits cannot be spent or lost--except for when they become zero again on January 1st. Reward Credits can be spent. Those are your "rewards." Your Tier Credit and Reward Credit balances, while earned concurrently, are independent of one another. If you spend Reward Credits, your Tier Credit balance (or Tier Score) does not go down, again, until the reset at the beginning of the year. Tier Credit-wise...you earn what you earn throughout the year and it does not go down. While your Tier Score gets zeroed out on Jan 1, your Reward Credits expire after 6 months of inactivity, if the policy is still the same as it used to be. You can keep these alive by using the Caesars Rewards Credit Card, by making purchases on Caesars-affiliated games for iOS and Android, or by making any sort of purchase or gameplay at a Caesars destination (when you use your card).

    So I have a question: I’m aiming to get diamond plus/elite from scratch using the bonus so how many points would I need to gather organically? Is there a limit to where I’d only be able to do 5K per day so I’d pretty much be limited to just diamond plus over a 2 day period?

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Khris, if you want to earn Caesars Diamond, you need to earn 20,000 tier credits in a calendar year. For Caesars Diamond Plus you need to earn 25,000 tier credits and 75,000 tier credits for Caesars Diamond Elite.
      With the Diamond in a Day tier bonus, you can only earn a maximum of 1 bonus per day. So if you earn 5,000 tier credits in a single gambling day you'll earn a 10k bonus which gives you Diamond status.
      If you earn 5,000 tier credits each day for 2 days, you'll be Diamond Plus.
      If you earn 5,000 tier credits during a 5X multiplier event on a single day, you'll earn 30,000 tier credits and Diamond Plus status. To get to Diamond Elite status fast, you'll have to earn 5,000 tier credits per day for 3 days during a 5X tier event.

    Did I get this right - on a 5X multiplier day earn 500 TC. 5X takes this to 2500 and you get the 5000 bonus. Do this two days in a row and get diamond?

    • @diamondunlimited2972
      @diamondunlimited2972 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No…you only receive daily tier credit bonus on earned credits not multiplier. So you would have to earn 2,500 tier credits to receive the 5,000 bonus credits. At 500 TC you would still receive 2,500 just not the bonus 5,000.

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi jambojack, the TC bonus only applies to earned TCs. So on a 5X multiplier day, if you earn 500 TC, you earn a TC bonus of 125 TCs. Then because it's a 5X day you'll earn an additional 2,000 tier credits. (1 TC x 4 TC = 5X; it's a bit deceptive but that's how Caesars counts a 5X day. So your total would be 2,625 TCs.
      To earn Diamond on a 5X multiplier day you need to earn 2,500 TCs. (2,500 TCs + TC bonus of 5,000 + 10,000 tier credits for the 5X = 17,500).

    This video is 100% INCORRECT. Do not confuse Tier Score & Tier Credit. Here, let me explain:
    All x5 tier bonuses is rewarded in tier "CREDIT", not tier "SCORE".
    Having 25,000 Tier Credit is NOT Diamond Status, I repeat, NOT DIAMOND, it's just having $250 casino credit, that's all it is.
    (1 tier credit is equal to 1 penny)
    To get a Diamond Card you have to achieve a 25,000 in Tier SCORE, not credit.
    (I have about 40,000 in credit, which equals $400 bucks in casino credit).
    Read the fine print, "CREDIT" IS NOT THE SAME AS "SCORE" .

      Hi Ojib, unfortunately you are incorrect. You are confusing tier credits with reward points. They are two separate types of points earned with Caesars. One (tier credits) gets you status while the other (reward credits) can be used to redeem against paid stays and dining.
      To earn Diamond status you need 15,000 tier credits.

    You can get diamond status in a day by just bringing $100,000 to the casino and gambling it. ;)
    You neglected to mention that they also take into account skill level when determining tier status. That's why I get nothing for playing blackjack. Also, different video poker machines give you different tier credits. Case in point... They have a 25 cent 9/6 JoB progressive machine at Caesars in AC. This gives you less tier credits than playing on a normal $1 9/6 JoB machine. To give you guys an idea how hard it is to get Diamond in a day, I played craps betting $330 on the inside numbers each roll. Even playing at those stakes for 6 hours in one day I only get about 1500 tier points.

    I'm staying this weekend at a Caesars resort during the 5x multiplier days, but I check out on Monday (not Sunday, which is the last day of the multiplier). Does this mean I don't get the multiplier for the days prior to Monday because I'm paying my room charge on Monday?

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Jerdirabiz, generally you have to have your expenses charged during the offer period. So checking out on Monday puts all your charges after the 5x tier event.
      Consider splitting your stay so that your first reservation checks out on Sunday and your second reservation checks out on Monday. That way it'll push those charges to still be eligible during the 5x tier event.

    Play $25,000 through slots. You are expected to lose around $3,000 to earn that. And that's the average. If you are going to try this, I would bankroll at least $6k slamming $10+ a spin for about 6 hours of straight slot play. IMO not worth it for waived resort fees and a $100 dinner.

    • @TravelingWellForLess
      @TravelingWellForLess  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Steven, everyone should do the math to decide if it's worth it for them to earn Diamond in a Day. Folks who visit Vegas often, the waived resort fees could be worth having Caesars Diamond status.

    • @artisticboundaries
      @artisticboundaries 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Coin in only means what you spend when you hit spin. The point in playing low volatile games is they let you recycle your money because you win small amounts for line hits or even decent amounts and have very few dead spins. Games with progressive jackpots are not good games for this.

    • @Coco-up7bl

      Hi Coco777, yes, tier credit is based on $5 coin in. It's not just what you put into the machine. Coin in also takes into account what you win while playing. Gambling on a 5X day is cheaper than a non-5X day. It's best to play low volatility games so that you can play longer and earn more tier points with less cash outlay.
