There’s lots of videos on TH-cam on the stun gun, one thing that you will see is that most of the people run from the stun gun or the people getting stunned by it are in fear of it. If you pull that out about 98% of the bully’s will walk away.

I just wonder if the sound alone would actually scare someone… and by that I mean someone in Jacksonville FL 🤣🤣 hell idek if your allowed to carry one here, but fuck with how many older guys just come up to me (honestly.. probably just 3.. maybe 4 😅) it creeps me out soo bad, and tbh I’m like that with anyone… I will literally move to the other side of the road to avoid walking by people 🤣.
Literally just a few weeks ago, I had some guy TURN AROUND ON HIS BIKE to talk to me.. I never like being approached when going on walks.. I literally turned around so quick and half BOLTED out of there 😂, it freaked me out so much that I started slightly shaking and confused myself on where I was supposed to be going that I had to walk straight through a gas station 🤣.. I’m sure the workers there were a bit confused tbh 😂

My issue/objection with stun guns is the close quarter fighting required to use it. There is a reason police use tasers. It is to maintain space between the attacker and themselves. If an individual has no training in fighting or for example, is a petite woman, there is a very high likelihood the victim will be disarmed by the attacker and have that stun gun used against her. I prefer weapons that maintain distance. Pepper spray is superior because the effects last longer and can completely incapacitate an attacker. The recovery time from a stun gun is a few seconds. Electrical weapons are only effective while the juice is being applied.
I recommend both use the pepper spray first to execute then the stun gun to finish the job on the attackers... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you for sharing this important video. I purchased the Viperteck vts-989-1 and I saw videos showing it, but nothing showing how to use it. I hope I never have to use it but I really appreciate your demonstration using it as self-defense. My pleasure, friend! I have the battery powered motion sensors, and I set them up whenever I have to travel, camp, or sleep in my vehicle. Forewarned is fore-armed. Amazon has the sensor sets for $30 or less. Here is the set I bought a few years back. They were $20 then. The receiver can be set to a flashing light, or a loud alarm, or a low chime, and runs off of either C batteries, or the included adapter. I actually like the tips your giving in this video, I thought a stun gun was almost like pepper spray where you can activate it and run so this video is helpful.
Do you have to keep tapping the button versus tap and hold? Not familiar with its use
Tap and hold if you are connected with meat, but if you let it arc when not connected, you'll mess up your gear.

Like the vid, but this is why I wish concealed carry was legal everywhere...drawing a gun on the threat (if safely possible) will likely end the need to physically defend yourself; bad guy(s) should head off. Shooting the threat, if necessary, ends it altogether.

I definitely could one of those. It’s getting bad around where work that venders e starting to sell pepper spray n even stun guns. I almost an incident with somebody last week after just getting off the train while heading into work but luckily nothing happened.
Mine should be here in a few hours, but ive take self defense classes for four years. I may or may not need a stun gun but it never hurts to be prepared yk.

This video is true to the T. It's perfect. All these other (sheep) just carry a stun gun and believe it's lightning from Thor and it'll just completely incapacitate the attacker. Not true at all. Got to learn how to fight. And run.

Hey man I have a question for you , I am from Finland and we have a little bit different voltage or amp on our stun guns so I would like to ask you what the voltage and amp is on your taser and tell you what it is on mine .... mine pretty much looks the same but its black and a little smaller I think.It has 5000 volt and 1.9 amp
that amperage would kill someone, might want to double check

Don’t know if mine is defective or if you leave it without using it for months on end it doesn’t keep a charge that long? And when it is charged it seems to only put out one zap. I really don’t know if I’ve ever charged it for the 8 hours.

That is tough to say. There are some points that can be made as far as a stun gun being a good tool to buy you a second or two to run. With a little bit of practice, I believe anyone can learn rudimentary striking skills, which is a big part of using a stun gun effectively. I will not completely discount them, because there is a "shock value" to being hit with one. I wish I could say definitively a yes or no. Thank you for watching!

Pepper spray is excellent! Pain tolerance does not matter when your attacker cannot see or breathe properly. I feel that pepper spray is one of the best non-lethal self defense items available.

I have no experience with tasers, so I cannot say. I believe that they have more amperage than most stun guns, and amperage is what really knocks you down and out.
Great vid! What happens if you continue pressing the on button until the battery runs out? I ask because mine stops creating arc after about 2 seconds, then I have to wait. Does it mean I can only tase an intruder for 2 seconds?
You're probably damaging it every time you do that.

Advantage of a stun gun over a canister of OC is that you have to calculate within a second WHICH WAY the wind is blowing.. the Stunner will buy you time to rain blows on the criminal attacking you

Can you give recommendations for what model of stun gun would have easy to hold hand grip for a tired ''ole female trucker. My hand strength has weakened from aging . The women in the trucking industry are rattled by a recent murder of a female colleague inside her truck..Theres a version of stun gun being marketed to women in trucking community that has a nice slim bevaled handle, but I can't see the volt specs in their ad. Do any that you know of have this user friendly womens' grip, without sacrificing voltage? Do brightly colored stun guns help, or hinder the "surprise" element we want in self defense? Otherwise, the bright colors are great for not misplacing it in dark truck interior . Thanks
I cannot really speak to brands or anything, but I do know that there are some "flashlight stun guns" being marketed that have decent reviews. Those would probably be easier to hold on to. I would also recommend battery powered motion detectors. Set them up to chime so if someone defeats the lock on your truck, you will have that extra notice from the chime to wake you. A good knife, if practiced with, is an excellent tool for discouraging bad men. Guns are best. I wish I could be more help, but my only stun gun experience to date is with the Vipertek. If you using a stun gun chances are you not very good at punching i dont know why you think having a stun gun in your hand makes it any easier, just close the distance and learn jiujitsu unless they have a knife or something pointy youre probably safer locked onto them than squaring off with them and thats when you start biting and gouging eyes out hehe
Guillermo Ramirez sorry to hear that but size matters in these situations for the most part unless you really well trained with those devices but I've seen men continue to fight when they shot or broke a leg, point is those weapons can be useful but I wouldn't bet my life on it, I've attacked my aunty to see if a Stun gun would do anything and although it did hurt if I was an angry person pumped with adrenaline I wouldn't feel it, peppers spray works but you needa learn to run away as well and I would suggest a flashlight on you at all times cuz you could use it to hit someone in the face and trust me it hurts and you can use it when you're in a dark area and it kinda detours criminals in my experience cuz they can see you prepared to some degree. I've been stabbed 8 times and didn't feel a thing till I saw the knife and I'm not even that tough so imagine a aggressive tough attacker coming at you, I hope you got your knife in a sheath somewhere on your belt if possible or anywhere convenient to reach if you're pinned down cuz running away should be your first priority, if you hurt someone that's attacking you they only become more aggressive some are cowards and will back off but you don't wana coin toss your life
