Great podcast. Agree with the green thing Cammy. We are just chasing our tails. 70% of our food is imported. And here are we planting trees and such to look green. Mental
Another awesome podcast! I had such a good laugh, it felt like sitting around the kitchen table just enjoying the company. Because you've known each other so long, the meandering conversation is very organic and comfortable. Looking forward to future farm visits. That was great fun and informative too. I've never seen cows being that inquisitive. You always brighten my day. Thanks so much.❤❤❤
Great info peeps! Enjoyed this program so much! Us in Canada have the carbon tax...we get cheques in one hand and return it with the other! hehehe..Would love to visit area's where some my blood originated.. Love your fun Buddy Times!
Great podcast liked that Cammy talked about steel production, my late husband was a welder he used to say that the imported steel was rubbish compared to steel produced in this country. Like a lot of your views Cammy
We export a lot of lamb here in NZ. In some ways I'm ok with it, but when our NZ products are replaced with less desirable foreign products, that drives me mad. It's all about trade relations. I'd like to see us more self sufficient.
Great Pocast as always, Iona nailed what it was that drew the coos to Cammy it was his Kudos aftershave ( yes I’m that old) 😜, I can smell the boys at school just as a type this. Love this or that, would love more of it. 🐄 🐃 🐮
I am a born and raised California girl...never been around farm animals at all and I LOVE your podcasts...makes me want to buy some animals and move to Scotland!!!😅😅
A wee suggestion, would love to see how Martin and Mel, Aimee and Kirsty Budge, Joyce Campbell to name a few and all the original This Farming Life cast are getting on. A wee away day for you both 😂 Love all the podcasts great work
To go with the steel mill closing to make us look green, but many European and American shipping companies register their ships in third world countries and the emissions from these massive oil tankers and container ships are now added to that countries carbon production and not added to the countries they are actually delivering to
7:23 GOOD MORNING from Victoria, BC 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 AT 0630 hrs PDST. 8°C & SUNNY here this Friday morning. We celebrate "Victoria Day" long weekend...Monday being a Canada-wide HOIDAY to Celebrate Queen Victoria 🕌🤩👑🥳🖐👋👋👋I have truly enjoyed watching these podcasts...the last one with you interviewing in the barn with all the DAIRY COWS was absolutely fabulous. Thanks Cammy & Iona💜🙏✝️🙏💜🤎🩵💙💚💛👋👋👋🏴🏴🏴🏴
We never have house keeping come into our room when we travel. Just feels weird. Enjoyed the podcast … this or that was fun. Wish I could get a good sleep, I say as I’m still awake at 1am. 😂
Love the out-and-about broadcasts. This craic (did I use that term correctly?) between you two was a nice "break', you guys are so charming and INTERESTING.
" Like tikka masala, Chicken Chasni isn’t actually an authentic Indian dish - it was invented in Glasgow! The delicious takeaway treat is a blend of sweet and savoury that fans of mango chutney will love. Our version is much lighter on sugar and oil, but still has the best elements of the original, resulting in a mild dish you can enjoy any night of the week "
Yeah I'm with Cammy with the maid service. I don't see the point in them coming in until I'm leaving. Once I'm in a room, that's my space. I don't want people coming in.
Never heard of a jaznee here in the north west of England, but is that the indian population that moved to Scotland is from a different region, I know when i go to Berlin they have chain of Indian restaurant called amrit, and they dont do Peshwari Naan and did not, know what it was and just said they where not from the peshwari region of india. But they do a bunch of other stuff i have never heard of or seen any where else. Thou its really nice if your ever in Berlin /Germany worth a visit.
Housekeeping wise hotels/humans can contribute to the environment by not having bed linens changed every day unless soiled Las Vegas hotels have adopted a lot of water savvy policies Don’t know if other cities are doing similar things Tangential but farmers and animals shouldn’t be the only sector to be proactive ❤
Mince and Tatties 😂 Mince is ground beef, and tatties is a Scots/Ayrshire word for potatoes. Mince and Tatties is done with the mince cooked with a gravy, and the potatoes are mashed. Simple Scottish classic.
APOLOGIES in advance as this is a read 😅. Another enjoyable Fed by Farmers ❤️. I have to say though, I was a little shocked by the going green (which does have benefits albeit small impact on a global scale) and Global Warming discussion. I absolutely have so much respect for you Cammy for so many reasons, but those things are absolute rubbish. You were on to something when you spoke about outsourcing steel from another country. They are all about government/corporate control and they willingly lie to the masses, globally, for compliance and profit. There are so many truther podcasts about how it's all a bunch of lies to tax the average working person into poverty and they back it up with facts. For instance, windmills are horrible for the environment. They use massive amounts of oil and leak like sieves, ruin perectly good soil for miles, which affects food growth and production, and cause so many types of cancers. They require so much maintenance it would blow your mind. I personally have a friend that used to work on them, and even though it paid massive amounts of money, which benefited his family, he had to quit because morally he just couldn't be part of what he witnessed and how much damage was being done to perfectly good land and how it made people and animals sick which inevitably leads to death. And there are so many real scientists, who refuse to be bought, that are willing to die on that hill that it's all a lie. It's just another way to deceive people and steal their hard earned dollars under the guise of "we tax you to make it a more environmentally friendly world" when in actuality, governments and big corporations are laughing at us and taking our money while they are buying up lands en masse, multiple homes and more, and flying their private jumbo jets all over the world causing a carbon footprint that cause more damage in just a handful of flights than a hundred families could produce in a lifetime. Even the recycling is a farce. You take your time to separate your plastics and only 2 types of plastic (I think #1 and #2) can ACTUALLY be recycled. They pick up your bins that you take the time and effort to sort and clean, and they end up at dump sites with the rest of the garbage because they aren't going to waste their time, which is money/profit, rummaging through looking for the 2 types to recycle. All the wealthy ones just continue to push these lies and increase their wealth while they oppress the average working citizen. They are evil. They want complete control and will do so by any means necessary. Soros, Bill Gates, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Bezos, WEF, WHO, DAVOS, Blackrock, Vanguard, and quite a few more have only one real agenda, take all our money and reduce the population. Take a listen to Russell Brand on Rumble and Tucker Carlson on X, you might be surprised at what you hear.
Have you ever smellt New Zealand lamb when you cut open the plastic, it stinks. Must be whatever they put on it to preserve it even although it is frozen. Even when cooked you can taste it.
If I might give a thingy: It yould be nice and handy if you had the email listed in the discription. I nearly had the wrong e-mail adress pulled from the website
Green versus Steel: in Los Angeles people have lived with terrible air pollution, so many people are buying electric cars. Much of the electricity in Los Angeles comes from the Navajo indigenous people in Arizona who have a lovely electric power plant BURNING COAL. Sso in essence, the electric cars in Los Angeles are burning coal.
i agree on yr climate change point of view ...we always need to eat and food security needs to be a thing ....and i think its very possible to farm productively and give a decent nod to the wider farm environment . .where is all the money in the world goin?.its flowing one way at the moment .and yes offshoring plus transportation is all a bit suspect ..by having thriving economy here ,you would think it would be better to be in control of making things and i agree its possible the wider climactic impact of imported good perhaps maybe needs to have tax implications
What’s brown sauce? Sounds nasty.🤢 yes on tomato sauce. Sleep is better over food. No banana on pizza. That combo maybe Scottish. Mozzarella has no flavor when you melt it on your pizza. It’s like a layer of stretchy plastic. Home is best place to be. ❤ home cooked but I hate cooking. Favorite meal strong cheese with red wine.🍷 sick of Facebook, don’t do instagram. Music over podcast. No to blind date for you two. Consult Lizzie first. Yes on fingers for toes.
Brilliant. Thank you both🎉
Another wee blether about this and that. Perfect.
As always, I love the podcast. It has a bit of everything, a few laughs, teasing, and of course, a lot of farming info. Can't wait for the next one.
Great podcast. Agree with the green thing Cammy. We are just chasing our tails. 70% of our food is imported. And here are we planting trees and such to look green. Mental

"everything is a bit of a shot in the dark" - priceless!! (Head Of Planning)
The episode in the Cow shed was great fun. It seemed that the cows were really into Cammy.
Love you both Cammy and Iona. From Seattle WA I didn't know your politics are so much like ours
So much fun! You both host such enjoyable podcasts. 👍🏼😁

I always hang the Do Not Disturb sign on the door for our whole stay. If we need fresh towels I'll find the staff in the hall and exchange some.

The cattle vlog was great..Cammie was a definite favourite with the cows 😅😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Love the out-and-about broadcasts. This craic (did I use that term correctly?) between you two was a nice "break', you guys are so charming and INTERESTING.
That is exactly how to use craic 😂
Di maggios in Glasgow used to do a pizza Maryland
Chicken , bacon, sweetcorn , banana.

Cammy if I lived in Scotland, I wouldn’t go anywhere either! Lol

Glasgow seems to be a great city for new UK Indian style foods
Cammy, Are you getting closer to getting your own farm?❤❤❤
Yeah I'm with Cammy with the maid service. I don't see the point in them coming in until I'm leaving. Once I'm in a room, that's my space. I don't want people coming in.

Yeah, Cammy the SNP that moved the 32 million pounds ring fenced for farmers.
Housekeeping wise hotels/humans can contribute to the environment by not having bed linens changed every day unless soiled Las Vegas hotels have adopted a lot of water savvy policies Don’t know if other cities are doing similar things
Tangential but farmers and animals shouldn’t be the only sector to be proactive ❤
Don't seem to get pakora down south either!
Cammy has already found where he wants to be.
What is minc and patties?

Farmer Phil@@FedByFarmersPodcast
Potatoes cakes in England
My nan (Irish) made them and we called them potato pancakes here in Canada.
if you want to try a curry try a chicken pathia brilliant
Interesting stuff. I, ultimately, see you going into politics, Cammy, and power to your elbow if you do.
😂 Cheers
Tatty scones look like what we call Pancakes in America.
They're more savoury than pancakes, but they do go in a breakfast!
the cheapest product is the home grown product
Didn’t see you in Japan
I spent most of my time in South Korea!
Get Jim smith on he’s hilarious

Cammy is that a tattoo on your thigh? What is it?
It’s a story from a drunken night in Norway while I was over shearing. I’ll tell the story next week😅

Think brown sauce is what they call HP Sauce
It is HP sauce (Houses of Parliament Sauce) it has more of a vinegar taste
If you’re American you can find HP sauce in the international section of the grocery store if you’re interested in trying it.
