As an American (Texan) by birth, I can say the following… I have freedom of speech… 😋 Americans can be idiots. Breeding thing smaller introduces sooooo many health issues. That moronic idea has now spread to dog breeds, horses, cattle in general with the stupid “mini“ fads has introduced chaos into animal husbandry in general.

stumbled across one of Sandi's video, loved it and got hooked ,loved how she talks to yah and how she really loves her animals. They talk about their kids come back to farming but the government now has caused big problems ,for them to hand over the farming to their kids they will get stuck with 67% CAPITAL GAINS on what the value of the farm is worth. This will cause generation to stop farming.

Looking back on this podcast. Surely a lot of editing throws content Short's in the bin. Instead of copying sections to load elsewhere, can't some be used you chopped? Would mean higher profits for your efforts. YT has a way of canceling content. Unless I hunt for a creator despite being subscribed, I can't get the sequence back or notifications... I really think they do it on purpose to stop bots. Take care and thanks for your efforts 🌻

An idea for your merch store is something Sandi Brock does. She has kits to make small felted wool ornaments. She does it as a way for her followers to be able to have a small bit of wool from her sheep specifically. You could have an ornament of your Sheep Game logo. It's a wool product that is simple to produce on your end (once the details are worked out) and a fun way for folks to support you and British Wool. Even though it is a craft, pretty much anyone can do it. This was a terrific discussion.

Interesting paternal grandfather raised shorthorns and some Angus( black hide, not large) they were considered a dual purpose raised for meat but also milked to sell cream Dad liked to breed a small Holstein heifer to an Angus for easy of calving And if the calf was a bull then he was raised as baby beef Now steakhouses feature cuts of beef as Angus and our sister raises primarily red purebred Simmental cattle but she would be offended to have a black calf called anything but Simmental Will have to ask if Canadian beef cattle are treated like American beef with regard to Angus labeling

Amen ❤❤ dad was very pro crop rotation fallowing fields ploughing a hay crop into the land to nourish it It is frustrating in North America that factory farming is going to lead us into conditions that helped create the 1930’s dust bowl

You covered the Royal Highland Show a little But as an American with a farm background (dairy) it would be really cool to dedicate a few vlogs or a podcast or two to the Show the foods, the exhibitors, the artists even the non sheep categories Perhaps the last is a stretch but…maybe not your non farmers might be charmed by seeing a gorgeous Highland cow

  • @brigidconroy2111

Not to be a smartass but seems that the local witch or a woman who was deemed a witch was blamed 500 years ago for too much rain or not enough That to be said farmers typically have not had the power to defend themselves against environmental damage Bad farming techniques cause problems but industry holds a bigger responsibility than farmers Now factory farming because it is on a large scale with a profit focus not a lifestyle or legacy purpose
