Off the subject of the video but I was just thinking people don’t appreciate how hard farming is weather it be cattle or crop , they can’t just nip off on holiday and I would imagine they never get to go on holiday , we should appreciate farmers far more than we do .

I had to laugh when you said the calves got out. Being a dairy farmer I know the feeling. I remember standing back and waiting for the little buggers to wear out from their freedom before getting them back in. I always carried a camera with me. It's easier to turn a nightmare into laughter. 😂😂
Wishing your father good health and a speedy recovery, he’s a similar vintage to my own father (1931). I lost my father in 1993 and there’s not a day I don’t miss him, I can’t tap into his knowledge and wisdom anymore.

So happy to hear your Dad’s home even if it’s a bit too early. I shared last week that my Dad just turned 90 and he was recently in a rehab after breaking his shoulder. He’s back home but brought with him pneumonia which he then gave to my Mum who’s 86 & my brother who has cancer We adapt. We make changes but he needs a lot of support to do basic things. After working hard as a painter and other jobs his whole life to provide for our family, he now struggles & it’s so hard to see. (6 children plus we fostered many children over the years) Like you, I’m working under the assumption, hoping & praying he’ll be strong enough to be more independent and engaged. I look forward to seeing your Dad on a video again. If not helping you out on the farm then enjoying the summer sunshine. Irish air does wonders for the soul. God bless & congratulations ✌️💚

When this video started I was overjoyed to see the cows out in pasture, and the rest of good news was so wonderful to hear! One side of my family has an Irish heritage, and I grew up as a farm hand. It soon changed when I moved into more urban and city areas. But as I get older I do really yearn more for the country and regaining those roots. Your videos really hit that spot and keep me humbled.

I know how it is when your father is not well and been stuck inside all day as my own Father is the in the same way , a man who worked all his life as a farmer after taking over a farm when he was very young when my grandfather died in the 50's.Keep your chin up and fair play again to you.
I look forward too Sundays. I find it relaxing watch, i find myself laughing along with you. I miss lambing time, but not the 5 am starts and the muck-spreading smell, but i do miss the fresh air and the quiet of the countryside.

Glad to hear your dads out of hospital, now to get him busy, active, get the body going, my dad 96 years young, if I mention that we are going away in Motorhome even for nights he’s at the ready! He’s had a few bad years but does his best! When he get chance we sit and watch that Irish chap with his many projects, first foremost the farm/animals, cottage, tractors being restored, new buildings going up, 100k that’s very good,

One side of my family has an Irish heritage, and I grew up as a farm hand. It soon changed when I moved into more urban and city areas. But as I get older I do really yearn more for the country and regaining those roots. Your videos really hit that spot and keep me humbled.

I know how it is when your father is not well and been stuck inside all day as my own Father is the in the same way , a man who worked all his life as a farmer after taking over a farm when he was very young when my grandfather died in the 50's.Keep your chin up and fair play again to you.

I look forward too Sundays. I find it relaxing watch, i find myself laughing along with you. I miss lambing time, but not the 5 am starts and the muck-spreading smell, but i do miss the fresh air and the quiet of the countryside.

I’ve moved away from advertising as much as possible, only if it’s something I really really need. I could fill a few sheds with stuff that gets pushed our way but to me it’s not the content i want to make. I’m much happier for it 👍

Glad to hear your dads out of hospital, now to get him busy, active, get the body going, my dad 96 years young, if I mention that we are going away in Motorhome even for nights he’s at the ready! He’s had a few bad years but does his best! When he get chance we sit and watch that Irish chap with his many projects, first foremost the farm/animals, cottage, tractors being restored, new buildings going up, 100k that’s very good,
