Thanks for putting up this video, I haven’t heard this song in years. In my opinion music is an art, and just like any piece of art like a painting or a sculpture, each individual person viewing, or in this case listening, to this art can interpret it how she or he feels like. So me personally I don’t think it is literally about a gambler. To me it represents life, in particular relationships. But that’s just how I interpret this. Thanks again and I love your channel.

The first dance at my wedding was his song 'Lady'! My husband and I will be married 30 years in April! He sings it to me, but sings my name, Katy, instead of Lady! Kenny was also a great actor! My favorite is his movie Six Pack (1982). It's about a race car driver who is blind-sided by 6 orphans. It also stars a very young Diane Lane and Anthony Michael Hall! Trust me, you will love it!!!
The song was metaphor on life. Kenny passed away in his sleep in March of 2020. He will truly be missed!
