I was very lucky to be part of this tour as a light mechanic. I've worked on many tours, but this one was the biggest event of my life. The boys are not only brilliant musicians, they are brilliant people too. I've been on David's solo tours a few times, I don't know anyone else in the music industry who, despite the great success and ingenuity, is so normal, warm and friendly. I wish you all a happy new year, good luck and health and god's blessing. greats from germany

I'll never forget this tour. Saw them in Chicago and during this song, the crowd of many thousands were all singing along - sent chills up my spine and tears to my eyes.

I was at the sold out Chicago stop of this tour at Soldier Field. The video of this concert does not do it justice. The lights, the clear 360° sound encircling the stadium, the fireworks, the nearly 3 hours of amazing Floyd music. The plane, the pigs, that floating light thing . Talk about getting your money's worth!! A memorable experience for sure. Check out "Keep Talking" by Floyd. Studio version first.

Yeah I also attended that tour, I live in St . Louis my seats were pretty high up I remember being bummed about that ahead of time but turned out to be so much cooler cause the light show was more intense and the pig came right at me. Total trip. Lynyrd Skynyrd was a couple months later, maybe you saw that show as well. PEACE HIPPIE JOE.

This was tour was the my 3rd time seeing Pink Floyd, i first saw them when they were touring for the Album "Wish you were Here" it was my fist concert, I was 10 years old, after hearing David Gilmore I knew I wanted to play guitar. That Christmas my parents got me my first guitar I've been playing for almost 50 years, and still have that guitar. I saw Pink Floyd the second time for their Delicate sound of Thunder tour and was still amazed. Pink Floyd are one of my favorite bands and the best sounding group live, they are the only group I'd rather hear live than the studio versions, even the older tracks like The Narrow Way or Green is the color, just an amazing group

I saw them on this tour in May 1994 in New Orleans. This was the first song of a three -song encore. The two that followed were "Comfortably Numb" and "Run Like Hell". That was an emotional and sensory overload that capped off the greatest single concert I've ever been to in my entire life.

I was there that night! Myself, my wife, sister n law, step daughter, her boyfiend and my best friend. I was an unforgettable night. 20th October 1994, and you know the truth? the video is great but being there is an astounding experience. The 360 surround sound, the crashing plane that flew over haed, and we felt the heat from the onstage pyros :)

You got it right: being there was one of the most unforgettable experiences. I've been to many rock concerts, but this was something else. As well as the incredible musical performances, there was also so much else going on in the air and overhead, from start to finish, and all extraordinary.

This song is a tribute to Syd Barrett...the cofounder of the Pink Floyd in 1965. Barrett went mad shortly and left the band (or was ejected) in 1968. But his shadow hung over the band forever. The lyrics describe his meteoric rise to fame and his rapid descent into madness. Tragedy is that Syd probably never wanted to be a Rock star. Just got sucked into it. He was the dazzling star of the 60s - with his good looks - and its unfortunate victim. RIP Barrett.

Hey there! That's s ok cool you are digging Pink Floyd. You might also enjoy some of the music of King Crimson. They were another progressive rock group around at the same time. In some ways they were an influence to Pink Floyd. I recommend The Court Of The Crimson King

Stage 200 tons, 200,000 watts of power, 4 sets of 32 wireless speakers and fireworks at the end. " 1994 pulse" any vid is great. # 1 comfortably numb #2 sorrow, #3 with all 200,000 final " run like hell"

just watch some other P.F. reaction. if you really like Dave's playing from a fan since 68. David Gilmour "live at Pompeii". some Floyd , some solo .his best playing without the BIG light production. solo " # 3 daves best " in any tongue" a soldier dealing with what he did. " on an island" setting Pompeii Amphitheater were no performance inside since 79 AD when the volcano erupted. this is not P.F.
