Center Stand Scraping, Spring Removal and Adjustment

On my 76 GL1000 project bike, the center stand has been scraping on moderate left-hand turns. In this video, I show the removal and re-installation of the center stand spring as well as a work-around.

You may have to replace that spring IF you can find an NOS or suitable used OEM one; it appears to have been weakened at some point. Also the muffler may need a "clearance divot" banged into it if it's not going to be a problem doing so.
