    I owned and operated a collision repair shop for over 20 years and I wish this technology existed back then, the basic principle for all collision repair is to reverse the damage in the same way it occurred which is exactly what you do with a patient and methodical approach, love your work and the fact that you prove it pays to think outside the box.

    I've been a bodyman for almost 20 years. Porshe and BMW trained. I'm always looking for a less invasive and gental way to repair vehicles. The sceptic in me would love to see the results in person. I have seen some extremely talented PDR guys but they never tackle these level of repairs. Regardless of wether or not your finished repairs weigh up to a trained eye, what you are doing is quite remarkable and I very much enjoy your channel. Keep up the good work👍

    Hey man I'm a new subscriber and a entry level body repair technician. I've been in the body repair field since 2018 learning from the older guys who were still in it. I have seen PDR in the past but primarily hail damage and door dings. Man you are pulling things we would have ripped off and replaced with a OEM part in a heartbeat lol You Rock my friend. I had to watch about ten of your videos before I was a believer. Brother you truly are the man of steel, keep up the good work my friend

    Truck driver here. My truck was hit on the driver side sleeper area in a hit-and-run at a truckstop. Anyhow, I have the option to take it to the shop and they'll take a month as they don't loose any money. Or, just attempt this myself. The damage is about 10x12 at the corner where the sleeper meets the door. Great video 👍

    New to your channel and have been in autobody for 15 years. I spent 8 years on passenger vehicles when at the time it was mostly all steel. Now a lot of car parts are aluminum. Second part of my career was spending 7 years on semi trucks,busses, & heavy equipment, most of that stuff I worked on was aluminum and fibreglass. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful videos.

    I'm a painter and a bodyman, and even though I do believe you can make it look like its all perfect, I know to us the people that know how to do body work, it won't be perfect and you will always need to use a little bit of body filler and paint it again. That's just how it is. I have seen it and feel it

    • @gostodemaisdaroca4052
      @gostodemaisdaroca4052 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're just butt hurt . I'm also a great body and paint guy ,also a pdr tech . Some work come out perfect ,way better than painting. Body filler? What you're talking about? Some of these works only need primer and block before painting.

      You’re just kidding yourself if you think the traditional body shop method is the only way. This particular dent looks too far gone for PDR alone, but I use both PDR and traditional methods, & there is definitely a huge advantage to not having to repaint every repair.

    Another great video! Very interested to get some formal training once my hobby becomes more of a viable revenue stream. Better tools and some technique would go far for me. For newer cars I'm certainly using tabs and a pneumatic slide hammer, but some of the older (50s-70s) restorations, I'm using a stud gun or complete panel patch/replacement since the vehicle is getting fresh paint anyways.

    I am a new subscriber and I think your methods are so needed in the auto industry most people don’t want to use inferior paint that doesn’t match or a few years down the road the car starts peeling the original paint if you could save it is the best thing and you just save that quarter panel five star quality thank you for the lesson

    This man is truly skilled . . . I enjoy watching the vids even though I have no dents. Hmm, maybe I should put one in the car🤣just to try it.

    I ran across your video just now. Awesome work. I pdr everything possible before I do any body work and refinishing. I’m in Dover Pennsylvania. York county and I have to say I’ve seen many so called pdr guys and they suck. Till they get done stretching the metal out and completely ruining the panel I’d make them leave unpaid and tell the shop owner about all the extra work they created. But of course I was the one who always took care of it. It was only me doing all the work and the owner wanted to only paint, I did everything involved in running the shop. But I only ever have minor body work and paint when they’re bad.

    I have watched with amazement how you reconstruct bended metal into shape. I have a car that was involved in a bollard entanglement lately and I don’t want a strip down door rip out fix. All I want is a decent metal push and pull to make it aesthetically ok. Who do you recommend I contact in that Dallas Forth Worth area for such a job. Thanks

    Hi, I'm new to ur channel. I complete body work and respray the old way. Your way gets amazing results with less stress on the metal. Looking forward to seeing more of your content and learning this way. Unfortunately I'm in N. Ireland so just a bit too far away for a personal lesson. Lol. Keep up the good video angles and clear content as you go through a repair.

    New subscriber and definitely would love to learn the process of how to pull dents out with your methods and tools but I’m definitely a novice and only purpose is for my own personal cars. Great job on getting that sent out as well.

    It's amazing to see these video's you made. Seeing you at work I would like to have a career change and start a body repair shop without a paint booth. Or starting a mobile repair shop. Then I can fix dents on events too. I sure need some advice and practical courses. Pity I live in Europe....
