Ugandan chapati is a type of roti as they also mentioned in the vid but it’s actually closer to a Paratha. Paratha is typically a bit thicker than plain roti/Indian chapati and stuffed with different veggies. Can be potatoes, cauliflower and even Paneer (cottage cheese) I love seeing things make their way into other countries and cultures

However a big difference is Indian cuisine has different names for different types of flatbread. Chapati is eaten all over Uganda and it’s different from the traditional Indian way. We’ve made our own version over the decades
