Started watching the review, heard the Aussie accent, PMSL watching the video, subbed. Picking up my 2015 Speed Triple R in a week.
Possibly the best review of this bike I have seen! Proper made me chuckle!

Great and accurate review. I had the pleasure of test riding the standard 1050 Speed Triple on a closed circuit and I was laughing with sheer joy after just one lap. Without exception THE most sorted bike I have ever ridden and as good as anything Italian.

Great video. Just bought my 2013 Speed Triple (standard version, not "R"acing) this afternoon. Taking delivery of it this coming weekend once I sort out the insurance costs and policy hurdles. Also will be getting a new toothbrush to clean the bugs out of my teeth from grinning ear to ear like an imbecile as I motor down the road.

Bloody brilliant review, I like the Gizmag ethic, you do pick out the best of things. With the video the person out there to buy this will be some old git re-visiting biking after 40 years and remembers the name. Shame really if it has some credentials.

Great review! I've ridden the speed triple R, but now own a KTM 950SM. Try the KTM out sometime. If you like the speed triple, you' might love the 950/990 SM.

Hi! Nice Video Down under! I have a Triumph Street Triple R 2011 its a lot of Fun.and for 2017 Triumph are bringing out a new street and Speed, keeping up with the Times with more power. but still don't come close to Japanese power but Triumphs are better handling I look better.nice Video Bro

I own a 2001 Speed Triple and it's got Tons of Torque that leaves modern bikes in the dust.
GIZMAG!! You mentioned the bike is 22K in OZ, from all the reviews it states it is around the 15-16K mark. Did I miss something? By the way the pricing was for the Triple R Model.

I test rode the normal speed triple, really is the best bike I've ever ridden. Simply mad and bonkers and faster then I could handle coming from a ninja 250R, wich unfortunately felt like an asmathic worm after the test ride
noooooo....a Big Place isn't in the nice sunshine.....it's when your
machines, tires, fuel [!] freezes and busts, and the roads are even too
treacherous to walk on...we have stupid short biker season here.

I could be wrong, but isn't any instance of a wheel (front or back) leaving the ground or wheel spin in the US considered (felony?) reckless driving? That's the equivalent of a set of "anti-hoon" laws. Granted they may not be as extensive as those in Australia.

I was engaged .. she loved motorcycles . unfortunately we aren't together any more. Bikes are great, amazing and outrageously fun but they will always play second fiddle to the love of your life.
