In a separate mixing bowl, add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar, 1/3 cup of chicken stock, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce, and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Mix and set aside. (Sauce mixture) Blanch 3 cups of broccoli florets in boiling water for 30 seconds, or until the broccoli starts to soften. Remove from heat and shock in a bowl of ice water. In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken in a single layer. Cook until each piece is cooked thoroughly and golden-brown. Remove from heat and set aside. In the same pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 5 red red chiles, and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Mix until fragrant. Add the sauce mixture with 2-3 tablespoons of cornstarch slurry (equal parts of cornstarch and water). Mix until sauce thickens. Add the chicken and broccoli. Mix until evenly coated.
hey guys , came across this Lombardi Xo Sauce , high grade cognac , diced shrimp , red chili , garlic , onion all crushed and blended in a regular food processor , goes very well with a mushroom chicken , highly recommended
Great receipe.. i made it..but ...I wonder if I use Christian chicken , cosher chicken-stock and halal salt. Would that still work or wouldn't I enjoy it or go to hell afterwards???
Sorry, but I see 2 problems. I didn't like seeing Raw Chicken Juice poured over the Raw Chopped Chicken. Also, don't place the Cut Up Chicken back in original package w/ the Raw Chicken Juices like this Shows. Both practices are Too Risky for Food Poisoning.
