I made this for my husband as he always orders this dish from a local Chinese restaurant and he never wants it from a Chinese restaurant again. He could not stop raving about how good it was. He even told his coworkers and they reached out to me for the recipe! Thank you so much for killing yet another dish!

Yeah, it's better that your husband never buys general TSO chicken from the Chinese restaurants. He could be eating general TSO rat. The only food I get from the Chinese restaurants is the steam shrimps and vegetables, shrimps with garlic sauce, and Singapore. The Chinese are a very nasty and disgusting people. They eat rats, cats, squirrels, and dogs. That's how covid got started. I heard a Chinese man in China ate a monkey and then he spread his germs to everybody else. When it comes to food, those people are not to be trusted.

I watched this recipe a 2nd time, because we got it from Chinese Restaurant. ANd, it's even more expensive than I remember. So, now, we are definitely cooking it at home. It was $13.99 bucks for a quite medium-sized bowl amount. Yes, nice people at restaurant on 10-17-2022 in Houston, but that's too much for family. And, it doesn't even go that far. Well, 2 to 3 small servings, or maybe 2 average size. Thanks for showing us this.

this was amazing! I substituted the white sugar and used stevia brown sugar! and I made sure to put the chicken on the grate with a paper towel on top of the grate to soak up the extra grease from frying. so low to no sugar and low to no salt and still tastes great! A tip for those big pieces that look done? Just remove and cut them in half to check the inside, plus now you have almost eaven pieces! Way to go chef!

just fyi 165 for chicken is just the temp that kills all the bad stuff immediately but you can cook to 155 and as long as you maintain that temp for about 45 seconds it accomplishes the exact same thing and you’re not over cooking. Plus if you stop cooking at 165 it’s likely going to rise 15 degrees just resting so you’re over cooking if you wait to 165 to pull the chicken out
