Why watch when you don't like the music? Or the speed than complain? When I was brand new to cooking in 2020 I loved these! I didn't know how to cut the potatoes or how to layer things. I had not been shown. That's why people make the videos. They show us step by step. I'm sure you know how to use the mute button and speed up the video. Doing those 2 things will help you to thank someone for the time and effort they took. Try doing videos and read the comments on your videos. Kindness is great.
I like the idea and look of your recipe but mashed potatoes with tomato sauce doesn't work for my taste. But a cheese sauce or a gravy sauce with some chopped tomato pieces would work. Love the meat swirl idea it's a great idea! 👍
The thin layer of sauce keeps the grease of lean ground beef from oozing into potato’s 😊 that looks like dill on top and mozzarella ? A nice carmeling of onions first wil give nice flavor and make them soft as well with finished product❤ if you cup your fingers like holding orange while chopping? Less likely to cut your fingers and can use your knife faster 😊 just a tip from another homemaker Ty for this video❤

Looks good, I don't mind the music, but do some time lapse! I don't need to see each potato sliced and diced from start to finish, each spoonful of sauce spread, each onion sliced and diced from start to finish. I get it. Dice potatoes, mix and spread sauce, dice two onions, mix all ingredients into the meat, etc, etc. Shorten up the video. All of them. Then people probably wouldn't complain about the music too.

l'd suggest cooking the onions until they were softened before putting into the ground meat - they won't cook fully and will still be mostly raw after the casserole is done. OPtherwise, this looks *really* good....

Use the leanest ground beef you can. As to the pace of the video, many people watch relaxing cooking shows as a sort of therapy. Many cooking videos are offering the same style pace. It's relaxing and people are also learning something and often absorb more info because their minds are more relaxed.

This looks great. I would reduce the tomato sauce to almost nothing. Maybe have it as an optional topping, as I have challenges with the texture of tomato sauce.
With your potatoes layer it. Put some potatoe then the sauce then sausages, start to repeat process, also add a little brown sugar to the sauce so it won't be bitter.😅😅
So, you are basically making a meatloaf with the mashed potatoes and tomato sauce? My mom was doing that, just not in that order. Mix meat loaf, put in pan. Spread on ketchup, then mashed potatoes, then bake. Maybe top with cheese and put back in oven to melt/toast cheese before it was quite done. Less mess, less time.
Keep the point of the knife on your cutting surface at all times, and pivot the handle to cut. This way you dont lose any digits. Really no need to dirty up an oven rack. Simply cut into strips. 😂
You should have never added oil to the tomato sauce. The meat adds all the grease necessary. This looks like a greasy mess. The only exception would be ground turkey breast or something similar that has no fat.
In Romania, we call it lazy cook's potatoe moussaka 😂 Instread of mashed potatoes you can use slices of potatoes or of eggplants, or sourkraut, or plain shredded cabbage... lots of ideas.

A lean ground meat would help avoid the pools of grease a higher fat meat would have.
