My first car was a 95 a6, pearl white with all black interior. Besides how slow it was and how badly it eventually started to burn oil i absolutely loved that car.
I must admit I really like the highway manners of this car. It’s a very comfortable cruiser; especially compared to an UrS4 on stiff H&R springs. ;-) How many miles were on your A6?
Wow that coolant was gross! Rest of the car looks pretty clean though, solid buy for half a stack. I'll drive over and take the bad gas for the mowers if you want to get rid of it!
Hі! May be you can help me with my question. I drive a s6 c4 2.2 1996 (Italian) chip "PRJ", automatic transmission. The problem is that the maximum boost is 0.7 bar (1.7 on the dashboard). It's not the first time I've seen information that on the s6 with an automatic transmission the boost is limited to just 0.7 (1.7 absolute) bar, is this true or not? Westgate is after a complete rebuild, the intake is pressurized, holds 2.2 bars, there are no errors on the computer. Here's another interesting thing. When I removed the control hose from N75 to the wastegate and blocked it (the hose), the boost should have risen to 2.0-2.1 bar on the dashboard, but on the contrary it fell to 1.4 bar...
@@SCARSORGofficial I’m curious how it works. The radiators use small passages. Loosening the radiator drain and observing flow is a good way to gauge if the radiator is clogged. That A6 is a nice looking car. As long as the trans doesn’t take a dump they are good shooter cars and keep miles off your other clean S cars.
This time around I went the cheap (and readily available) route via my local NAPA store and Nicopp tubing. On the red UrS4 I used nylon from McMaster-Carr.
@@SCARSORGofficial Nice, you find the appropriate length tube nuts from the Urs4/Urs6 FAQ? Sadly I purchased rust free lines from Weldon years ago but let them go to the crusher along with a few other good parts on an old 1993 Urs4;(
