- In this video, we new glass and seals in the tailgate rear glass of our OBS 1996 Ford Bronco Build that we call The Juice! We changed most of the rubber and trim, replaced some broken parts, and cleaned up the wiring. This is turning into a full blown 5th Gen Bronco restoration!

Good job guys! I’ve had to do window glass replacement on several old Fords and I don’t miss it. It did bring a happy tear 🥲 to my eyes to see new rubber and glass on the ‘96! Can’t wait for more videos!B⚡️D

Try soapy water the next time you are installing rubber seals i think you will find it much easier. Enjoy all the videos you guys do.

Dang, I feel dumb now. When I worked on my 96 Bronco's back glass I hot wired the pigtail to get the window out with the tailgate down. 👍
I have a 95 XLT and did all the seals when I first got her. I polished the scratches out of my glass, wasn't fun but saved money. Love watching your videos, keep them coming!

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the elephant in the room - when those seals breakdown moisture drops down and rusts the bottom of the tailgate … but great video!

Electric tape and heat shrink tape is good. Thought you might use a hammer to get glass out lol nice job. I like the red car in background

We are absolutely not mechanics. We are TH-camrs that do car and truck stuff. Most mechanics can’t make videos and most TH-camrs aren’t real mechanics.
My motor goes up and down, but at a crooked angle, gotta get new gaskets, rubbers, and grease the track, see why the window goes up crooked

Any tips for replacing the felts while leaving the glass in the tailgate?
does the back window glass have to fully come out to replace the outer weather seal?
Do you have to pull the glass to change the window sweeps? I just picked up an 95 that needs the sweeps bad.
Do you need to remove the tailgate glass to replace the seal?
That run seal on the upper part of the tail gate, do i have to order those clips? I recently ordered that run seal for my 93 EB Bronco and was going to replace it but didnt come with any clips i see the small holes on them where the clips go into. But dont got no clips. Would i be able to re use the ones thats already there?
Are these lights compatible with my 82 bullnose bronco ?

Bronco Graveyard
Correct way to remove glass is to take side plugs or seals. They twist out. Also need to remove regulator and clean and dry lubricate. Regulator can snap and hurt you bad. Need to put bolt or screwdriver in holes when glass weight is not on it. Total rebuild of tailgate was one of the most frustrating and expensive things I ran into besides stroking motor to 331.
You guys should of pulled that glass out and had the inside painted too. Its sucks to have a new paint job then see some rust on the inside of the tail gate. To me that a half ass restore.
You guys cut a lot of corners shit I wish you guys didn't do that cus it sucks you teaching people it's okay to do so
