  • John Baugh and his 1994 Bronco are next up on our Driveway Rescue list! While he's been able to keep it running smoothly mechanically, the interior needed a little pick-me-up. So Jeremy and LT grabbed the Nissan van full of parts from RockAuto.com and headed out to see what they could do.
    After a new front grill and some reupholstery to the seats and carpet, this Bronco has a whole new look!
    Thanks to RockAuto.com and Nissan we're able to bring the van full of parts needed to help these viewers out. Be sure to enter your vehicle for Driveway Rescue here. #RockAuto #Nissan #IntelligentMobility

    When covering seats or things like headrests you can use a bag that can seal and a vacuum to shrink the foam down a little bit to make it easier to get the new cover on. It works great for headrests that can be really tight and hard to get the new cover on.

    She can see over the hood now? Why couldn't she before? They just changed the seat covers, not install a booster seat?
    Great work, tho. Does look nice.

    My only issue with Rockauto is the non-existent customer service. It's pretty messed up when I have to call corporate for a simple issue a customer service program would fix.

    the pullout out bed of truck floors that r rhino lined is the idea going for w/ custom bench or 40/60 bench.

  • @jamesmerkel9442
    @jamesmerkel9442 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think if I was making bronco today from this mold the tail gate would b taller so longer, folded down & window still goes up & down or it would double fold or pullout extension. bc it is a short truck problem stowing or cargo-ing.

  • @porscheguy09
    @porscheguy09 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Can’t help but notice that huge gap between the top of the headlight trim and the hood and fenders. Not sure if that’s a quality issue with the fitment of the parts or if they just need to be adjusted but it sticks out like a sore thumb.

    • @RW4X4X3006
      @RW4X4X3006 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. I had to replace the entire front, including core supports (Deer) and my headlight bezels were a nice tight fit, flush with the grill. Something's up with this.

    FIX The original owner on my 1993 truck had reinstalled the light upside down so dome was on wrong wire making dome always on. He also used wrong length screws. If the mounting screws are too long, the mounting screws grounds itself on body making it always stay on.

    46 comment showing: any bench in "saved" 5k-10k will hve safety head rest or bench tall rear seat molded tall rear seat window blocking cushion that has power or easy manual tri fold bed feature. So yeah custom rear bench seat made just to max out the floor space lighter nicer than custom new van that respects eddie original design. Tons of new ideas from lots of conversion & SUV maket already out there. Idea is to put a diff truck or van seat of shelf in there but most like will just take mechanical hardware but will b a custom full floor bronco size.

    Old plastic slide on insert into bumber was a airflow style feature but new metal prt or aluminum or carbo worst poss only option can allow airflow but offer new added safety feature bumper for bumper better than new add on or u still can just hve carbon or plastic bs replacement prt.

    So, this one did not have a loose dashboard and the door handles open normally? I thought virtually all Broncos and F150s of this vintage have those 2 issues in the interior. Maybe those had already been addressed.

    • @noahgaray7923
      @noahgaray7923 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The door handles are because ford used the crappy cables that stretch. Swapping in the rod setup from an 80-91 is easy.

    All new stuff will hve blows & super chargers & old tech still works &soto b better than new safed 5k-10k quality the hood is an easy bolt on add on upgrade clear place to save weight yet functional venting & air flow improvement. U don't hve to blow or super charge or aluminum weight shave on hood but looks cool even if u didn't hp^ boost yet.

    If factory junk yard stuff replaces old faded stuff not god quality. So on bumper the plastic prts slide into chrome need to b steel or aluminum strong upgrade add on safety sake & 50yrs durable idea trying for. All braided cooler running lines not red strong hose, some prts race tech is the way to go.

    • @leehodge2415

      @@Hmmm-Interesting21 they never tested or tried any of that stuff, a box showed up, a check, and a video was made. Sent the video in, it was reviewed, didn’t have enough ass kissery, they remade the video with suggested ass kissery... this went on for some time, then the marketing wank video that no one except rock auto or whoever was happy with, got the upload, the check was cashed. And a lot of confusion and frustrations were had by all. Saying that free market thing had no place, it’s a phrase used by economists which is wrongly applied by retards, that the retard in question has seen someone smarter than yourself shut down a conversation he didn’t like, probably because that industry is putting his kids through clown college.
