This is SO HELPFUL. Planning to work in Texas too so thank you so much for this! Do you mind sharing what those 4 subjects are? I already took 2 subjects for NY but I've recently changed plans and decided to go to Texas instead (just like you guys hahaha)
Hi Drea! Thanks for creating a very informative guide. I also watched the second series. I just have a question.. Do you need to be a DPT first before you can take NPTE? TIA :)
Hi Trish! Thank you for watching. For DPT, it was supposed to be required for 2020 but because of the pandemic, they are delaying it even until now. So currently, as far as i know, employers do not require it but it is preferred. But when we did our credentials evaluation, our credits in college were deemed "doctorate level". So I think for the exam, you just have to follow to minimum credit requirement for the state you choose which is different state to state. Hope that helps
Hi! Thank you for sharing this video. I just want to humbly ask if you can share the list of requirements for the whole processing. I just passed the December 2023 local board exam, I am planning to take the NPTE and was aiming to enter Texas too but I don't know where and how to start😣.
Hello Ms. Drea, thank you so much for sharing. I just wanted to ask if how much did you pay for the credentialing. Since for me, it costs me around $1,500. Is it too much or it is just the same as yours?
Hi! Thank you for the video! I just have a clarification re the validity of application. Do I need to finish all my deficiencies in time and take the exam before my FCCPT application expires right?
yes for the deficiencies. You have to finish all the units that you need. And for the exam, you cant take it until you finish fccpt credentialing po. Hope that helps
Hi, thanks for this video. Very interesting and and informative. Although, I have a question. Can I take a US PT licensure exam if I'm not licesed PT in the Philippines? Thanks
Hi! It actually depends on which state you apply for. There are some states that require you to be licensed in your home country like Texas. While there are also other states that don’t. Don’t hold me against this, but I think I have friends who applied for New York that did not take the local board exam. Soooo make sure you research on you state of choice. I hope that helps!

@@HersheyTugenio Hi, I had the 5 yr curriculum(2019 graduate). The credentials are always based on APTA’s current requirement or their coursework tools for foreign educated PTs.
