so this might help for everyone who had d same experience like mine,,.. first, im a filipino PT working in KSA. tried to apply for Florida state,, I submitted my papers for credentialing to IERF, I lacked a subjet "community health only", so, I took the subject and passed it, request for revision then that's it! Now I already have ATT 🙏🏻 I hope for everyone's dream do come true❤️
Thank you for sharing. Congratulations on your ATT! Please keep in mind you'll need to apply for healthcare worker certificate for employer to file you with working or immigration visa.
Hi Ms. Normida, my name is Patrick and I would like to ask for your suggestion, Im working in Dubai and also starting to process my US application. Please if you have little time, I know that you’re busy too.
Please my beautiful lady I am Egyptian pt with 5 years course and one year for clinical internship i was about to get credentials of newyork but i hear they need dpt or master degree to apply is that right And what could i do if it's really needed
If you finished 5or 6 year BPT, you have to do NY Credential Review and usually with those years you can take NPTE without taking deficient subjects BUT before an employer can file you with a working or immigrant visa you will need healthcare worker certificate that is where deficient subjects will come out. Hello Doc, nasa US na po ako with greencard, 5 year BSPT degree po ang mayroon ako. Pwede po ba mag take ng exam or dadaan pa din FCCPT and other process?
Thank you for the info, moving to the US is my dream but it seems so daunting, I'm a 4-yr BPT so should I just start a master's degree or check deficient subjects before that? And does a master's with or without thesis make a difference? Cause I rather skip thesis part 😅
Hi. Master's in physical therapy is acceptable not other type of master's degree. I think all of them have thesis unfortunately. Like I said you can choose ECR then get those deficient subjects then do reevaluation again. That what other applicants are doing. Hope that helps.
Hello Doctor, I have a question and I will appreciate if you can help me. I am an immigrant (asylum) with a bachelor degree of 5 years and I already have a U.S employment authorization and social security. Do I still need the health worker certificate? Thank you
I have FCCPT Type 1 and was able to use it for the exam before. Currently, I am applying for NY and I was informed that I lack “community health” content. When I checked my FCCPT Type 1 result, it is clearly stated with evidence that Community health is found in my curriculum. Any advise or suggestion? Thank you.
Hi doc, i am a US citizen but did my 4 year BSPT in the Philippines. I just got my FCCPT educational credentialing evaluation and I have deficient subjects. I’ve been trying to look for schools where I can take them online, but I am not a license holder in the Philippines, would that affect my opportunity to enroll to schools? If not, do you suggest I take my deficient subjects in Philippine schools or would it be more convenient if I take them here in the US? Your reply would be greatly greatly appreciated!
I cited your options in the video either get masterals in the Philippines or tDPT here in the US. Here will be more expensive than Philippines. But to get masterals you have to physically go to school.
If you are a US citizen, no need for Phil license just the US. You can take courses at Philipine Rehabilitation Institute for your deficiencies, hope this helps.
Doc i am done with fccpt type 1 Now NYSED reports i am lack of pathology content And asking my university to send them email regarding tye same inclusion or exlusion in my study I am so confused guide me
Do you see pathology on your curriculum? If there is, get your school certify that you took and complete the subject and they send it to NYSED. You can also email NYSED back with screen shot of your curriculum if it is there.
If your school won't provide letter, you have to take pathology class at a university or school offering it. After you get done, you have to request school to submit document to NYSED that you finished it.
Hi Doc. Applied for FCCPT ECR to state of Connecticut. If already licensed (RPT), Is there a process to transfer the credentials/apply for the state of new york or do I need to reapply via FCCPT NYSED and start all over again?
Hi doc! How long will NYSED keep my documents on hold after FCCPT has forwarded it to them since I am not sure when I am gonna be able to pay the Form 1 fee or should I pay NYSED immediately. Thanks!
I am not sure. Typically a year. But you can always email them and ask them directly to get most accurate info. Please share here when they tell you. Thanks!
Hi I usually don't recommend agencies because they get a lot of your money from your paycheck. If you can afford to pay for yourself it is better and then find a direct hire employer.

If I have graduated a Master of Physiotherapy in Vietnam. Then the next thing I need to prepare is a NPTE exam?
You need to undergo credentialing. You need to apply to state where you want to apply.
Hello Doctor, I have a question and I will appreciate if you can help me. I am an immigrant (asylum) with a bachelor degree of 5 years and I already have a U.S employment authorization and social security. Do I still need the health worker certificate? Thank you
No. But you need education credentialing review or type 1 review for licensure depending what state you're applying.

You can take screen shot where it is stated on FCCPT and email that to NYSED pointing that FCCPT found it on your curriculum.
@@JustUpright yes that’s what I did but no response yet. Thank you! 👍👍👍
Call FCCPT and have it re-evaluated. Did mine way back 2015, but they use CWT 4 , now I think it's CWT 5.
@@wordsthatmattershorts8412 what year did you graduated?
But most of jobs requirement in websites Only Bachelor's Degree, why?
Mostly that can be for US citizen or US immigrant.
@@JustUpright But i checked out h1b visa sponsorship jobs, they required bachelor's degree, on websites, i dont know, thanks for answering me
Not for PT, it is master's or doctor of PT now.

You're a US citizen you don't need healthcare worker certificate that dictates the need for loal license so no it will not affect your application.

Mam our college taught us pathology in our college but its not mentioned in curriculum
We had medicine surgery pharamcology
Physiology
Biochemestry

You have to do FCCPT NY because NY has exclusive credentialing that you can't use the one you used for other state.
@@JustUpright thank you so much doc. If approved for FCCPT NY does this mean its possible to practice in 2 states (Connecticut/NY) or only NY?
As long as your license is both active, you can practice on those states.

is there a age limit in PT here in the US from Texas
No there is not.
Hello ,
I got approval for NPTE for NY. Do i need to evalute for Texas again if i want to move ? I am permanent resident .
Yes you do.
It will be easier to take the test in NY and pass it then if you move to Texas file a reciprocity.

Master's degree or tDPT is acceptable.
Hi DOC i applied for visa secreen with BPt 4yr, and Tdpt . Will i be granted a HCWC ? Or i may have defechancies ?
For graduates of tDPT program, I don't expect to have any deficiencies since what they require now is either master's or tDPT graduate.
